The Stick House Cottage has been formed in the centre section of a rebuilt medieval barn retaining the charm of a vaulted ceiling with the original Roof Trusses exposed as a feature.

This non smoking accommodation comprises a gallery bedroom with a king-size bed, a small double bed settee and a compact en-suite bathroom, creating an ideal 1st floor family bedroom looking out through original medieval roof beams over a glazed balcony screen to the open plan living area below.

The ground floor accommodation offers a double bed in a private bedroom, an adjoining shower room and WC, and an open plan lounge diner with an adjoining fully fitted gallery kitchen. The full size whisper quiet Fagor dishwasher and quality Bosch combination washer dryer, electric oven, gas hob fridge freezer and microwave - offers everything a family on holiday might need!

Parking for 2 cars is immediately adjacent to the Cottage.

In the town of Glastonbury is the Abbey - something there for all seasons and a little farther afield is Wookey Hole Caves and the Papermill, The Fleet Air Arm museum, Cheddar Cave and Gorge, Mendip Raceway, Hestercombe Gardens, the Haynes Car Museum, The Cathedral City of Wells and the shopping Mecca of Clark's Village to name just a few.

Overall good experience. Location spectacular. Cooker hob needs maintenance as ignition kept going off on its own. Bigger dinner plates would have been appreciated. Great for the 3 days of our stay
