“On the beach” This fabulous little gem is right on the beach, literally. Our stay coincided with the arrival of The Beast From the East 2 but the bungalow was cosy and warm despite the extreme temperatures outside. The dogs adored the beach and spent their time racing around on the sand when the tide was out, morning and afternoon, snow or sunshine. The bungalow was well equipped and spotlessly clean. When we did venture out we headed to The Lamb Inn (allows dogs) near Herstmonceaux Castle and the Royal Oak (allows dogs) opposite Pevensey Castle, for lunches in front of log fires. Birling Gap and Beachy Head were about 25 mins drive away. We were a group of 4 adults with 2 dogs and never felt cramped thanks to the open plan living space. Love the thoughtful provision of dog towels and dog bowls. It's so nice to stay somewhere that is dog friendly but modern and comfortable and clean. We are all looking forward to returning.

“Magical :)” I visited The Looking Glass Cottage at the end of March with 7 other ladies for a hen party. We were completely overwhelemed at how stunning the cottage is.. from the beautiful bedrooms to the outside loo!! The finer details do really make this cottage so special. It was spotlessly clean, jars full of tea/coffee etc - we even had a bottle of pink fizz in the fridge! Jacqueline, the owner, was so helpful, and even though at the time she was enjoying a holiday abroad.. she still made sure she was contactable for anything we needed or any queries we had. For instance, we needed a DVD player for a game we had made for the hen, and Jacqueline had her handy-man Mick pop round with one that very afternoon. Situated a 2 sec walk from the seafront, smack bang in the lanes, it's the perfect location for a Brighton city break. I would definitely reccommend this beautiful, magical cottage to anyone who fancies a mini-break on the coast. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Jacqueline! Kate and the Girls xx

“Fantastic location” We had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating my Mum’s 70th at Shell Ness. There were 6 adults and 4 children in our party and everyone loved the house. The views are absolutely breathtaking - we never got sick of sitting out on the decking and looking out at the sea. The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. We could easily walk down to the beach or into Whitstable harbour. We would love to return to Shell Ness one day. We made lots of happy memories.

“Perfect @//-_-\\@” We have just come bank from a bank holiday weekend getaway in dymchurch.the bungalow was like home from home..lovely,clean and plenty of toys to keep the kids amused in the evenings.close to the beach, funfair and farm ..would definately recommend to anyone and we will definately be booking to stay here again.thank you

“Mini holiday” My friend and I stayed for a couple of days at this charming cottage in beautiful Broadstairs.It was a charming little hideaway full of character. Even had a tiny spiral staircase which was almost vertical - watch out if you have had a couple glasses of wine !! Although it rained all the time, we were warm and cosy in the cottage. It was fantastic to be so near everything Broadstairs has to offer. P.s. Try and park in one of the side road as the car park is £4 an hour!!

“Sheer tranquillity” The peace of the cottage and the farm were so welcome. We walked all the well-marked paths around the farm - and across the fields to evensong at the parish church, to the sound of bells. As railway enthusiasts, we had days at Romney and Tenterden as well as at the nearby National Trust properties. Plenty to do, and then return to the beautifully equipped and comfortable cottage. A delight!
