“Very well maintained Pet friendly chalet in great location” Gillians Chalet at California Cliffs Hemsby has so much going for it, hand and bath towels supplied, there was coffee, tea, sugar, milk, washing liq. and much more awaiting our arrival. A very comfortable two bedroomed chalet. Pub, tricia's chippy and beach 4 minutes walk. Short drive/bus ride (2mns walk to bus stop) to Caister and Great Yarmouth. We had our dog with us and he enjoyed many walks in this pleasant area. 5/5 well deserved rating.

“Beautiful place” This bungalow is a fantastic place with everything catered for. My family and I spent a fantastic week here. The children played on the large field, which was very near to this bungalow so they had a little independence too. The local beach is just a short walk with calm sea for the children and a lovely sandy beach. Fran and Mark had thought of everything, dvds, games and kites and very thoughtful welcome gifts. Overall a very comfortable place to stay surrounded by a safe, quiet and picturesque park. Thank you.

“Perfect” I was looking for peace, quiet, close to the beach and comfortable accommodation, this place is just perfect. The chalet is beautifully presented, with everything you should need, a short walk to the quiet beaches, little bit further for shops, arcades, eating out. Would highly recommend if you’re after a short break to relax in comfort. Will be booking again soon.

“Comfortable and welcoming” Well positioned as a base to visit many locations along the coast. Very nice chinese takeaway just down the road. The chalet itsef was clean and tidy with all the home comforts you could want. There were extra little touches that made it just that more personal such as the tea and coffee and dog biscuits to get us settled in. I was also impressed by the picnic set and children's toys that were available showing how thoughtful the owners are.

“Clean comfortable with beautiful views.” Wonderful chalet. Handy for beach and lovely walks. Ideal for a quieter peaceful holiday. The chalet is a good size for a family and the owner is very helpful. It is beautifully situated on the quieter side of the island. There is a shop on site which is great for basics. The local beach was perfect for looking for pebbles or paddling. Not too many local amenities although could walk to Colwell Bay. Needed to drive to get to places ie sight seeing or shopping. Overall a fantastic holiday. Thankyou.

“Mrs” Absolutely delighted with our stay at Chalet Coll. It is a perfect base for visiting Lewis and Harris. “Wow!” I have just spent an amazing week at Windwhistle! The views are out of this world. A perfect relaxing retreat from a very busy life. The chalet is equipped with lots of thoughtful extras, books on the local area, binoculars for watching the passing boats and wildlife and a games chest full of games for quality family time. With the beach right on your doorstep for early morning walks or body boarding on the fantastic waves! Although we didn't try it, the Cliff Top cafe was always full. Apparently they do a great breakfast. A visit to Rames Head is a must for a superb view of Whitsand Bay! I will definitely be booking again soon.

“Beautiful Location” My parents and I have driven past the chalets several times and said what a wonderful location they were in. We normally stay with family in the area but this time decided to try the chalets. The location cannot be beaten ... wide open views across the bay , peaceful, tranquil a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The chalets are well equipped and nicely furnished.... not top of range or luxury but more than adequate. The main bedroom has a fantastic sea view. The second bedroom is quite small with bunks, perfect for a family with children... not so much for four adults sharing. There is an electric meter which takes £1 & £2 coins . You need to take your own towels and bedding. Duvets and pillows are provided. We will definitely stay here again Thank you to Helen and Chris .

“Amazing” We will definitely be back.The views were lovely. The cabin was lovely and clean and finished off nice.We were able to sit out at night as sun went down and listened to the owls.....while having a little vino .My son was happy as there was a playstation. If you walk behind the cabin you get a really stunning views.

“Lovely!” We stayed at this chalet for a week in April this year. The weather was a bit unkind but there was plenty to do. When the site shops were shut it was a short distance to the local shops. Great Yarmouth and the beach front were a short ride away. The chalet itself was spotless, with everything you need for a home away from home. I cannot fault the owner and the presentation and comfort of the accommodation. I would definitely book again.

“Spacious, very well equipped holiday flat” I have been holidaying at the Lizard for a very long time and, as I know, the weather in December is often wet and cold - but at least the third element, wind, was missing this time. This is relevant as the only downside to this flat is that it is difficult to heat up - night storage heaters are never a good option. BUT - this should not detract from what is a really nice and comfortable flat! The situation is wonderful and it is an open and quiet development. Two bedrooms and a fully equipped bathroom as well as another separate WC are very good at this price. The kitchen is quite large and has everything you need (including a washing machine). The lounge is a good size with radio, TV and excellent Wi-Fi. Even the coin meter for electricity was not too aggressive! The owner, David, was very good with communication before our visit and the key code cabinet worked! We also had telephone numbers in the event of a problem (there were none). We will hope to return - the best recommendation!

“Perfect location to explore 7 bays for 7 bays and lovely clean and well stocked accomodation!” The chalet is clean and very well stocked. The location is perfect to explore the local bays which have lots to do for all ages (we have a 9, 13 and 16 year old!!!). The site is quiet but is currently being developed. Fully recommended.
