“Very Nice, Comfortable dog friendly cottage - great location for everything!” We booked Miriam Cottage at very short notice for a mini-break. We're a couple with one small dog, but the cottage can sleep up to 8 (I think) and would still be very comfortable. On arrival, the owner had left a really good welcome basket and there were plenty of towels etc. The cottage is an old fisherman's cottage and has been renovated using clean lines and colours and has very comfortable furniture throughout. The cottage is located a short walk away from the beach, pub (really great food (bit portions!) ) and post office/general store - everything was very close. We would definitely recommend Miriam Cottage.

“Perfect Location” A wonderful house across the road from the beautiful Harlyn Bay. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, very comfortable snuggly sofas and comfortable beds. It was extremely clean and lots of cleaning products to use throughout the week. Would highly recommend.

“Just fabulous !” The Headlands was just perfect for our New Years break..warm, welcoming, very clean and of course the quite wonderful sea view from both the lounge and the main bedroom. We have come to love Anglesey over many years of visiting but have rarely felt so at home and relaxed as this time. The weather was very kind to us..not seeing a single drop of rain and even being able to lunch outside at South Stack on the 6th of Jan...! Every day was spent visiting a number of our favourite spots on the island with the promise of a lovely coffee and cake on our return to our cosy apartment to soak up the dying embers of winter light from the lounge window... A return..?? Absolutely 100% Yes..!

“Perfect for a short break.” The Cowshed was an absolutely perfect place to stay. The owners were so kind and welcoming and it was great to be able to take out border collie Lacy with us. There are plenty of places to visit near by but you do really need a car to enjoy the island to the full.

“Very enjoyable stay! Our dog welcome!” Arrived at the caravan park around 2.20pm. Receptionist said with it being a private let they couldn’t give the key out until the time specified on the form which was 3.00pm. That was fine. We had a drink whilst waiting. The caravan was lovely. Everywhere looked clean and very tidy. The bedrooms were fine. Comfy beds and pillows and warm, colourful bedding. Good picture on TV. The fridge was roomy and there was plenty of crockery, pots, pans and cutlery provided. Plenty of room in the lounge area with nice seating. Hot water was plentiful and shower was good. Table and chairs provided for sitting outside, weather permitting. We have been to this site many times as my in-laws owned a caravan here a few years ago. It’s a shame that the road on the clifftop has eroded further in a short time. There is NO road now! You can no longer get directly down to the beach from the site. You have to walk quite a fair way on through the site and then through another site before you can get down to the beach and sea. We had our dog with us who was staring at the sea longingly and whining wanting to get down there! He nearly pulled my husband over the cliff on a few occasions! It was £5.00 per adult per day to have access to the onsite club, bingo and entertainment and swimming pool. £3.00 per child. My son, his partner and child paid this and said the entertainment was good. The drinks at the bar were quite expensive as per usual in these places. We didn’t try the food. My husband and I decided to go into the Skipsea Club which had just opened in April. The old club house (next to the chip shop) is now shut. The new one looks like an aircraft hanger. It is HUGE! So you no longer have to queue up at 7.15pm to get a seat as there are plenty! Unfortunately, because it’s so big there is not a lot of atmosphere, even though the club was full. Felt quite clinical to me. Anyway, the drinks and bingo are cheaper than the other onsite club. It costs £2 per person to get in per day. Not sure if children are free but very welcome as there were quite a few in there. Bridlington is 9 miles away from the site and Hornsea is 5 miles. Would we book this caravan again? Definitely! Had a really good time.

One of the nicer chalets on Sundowner and we and our old dog were made to feel very welcome. Yes...was exactly as advertised... I'd recommend to friend or family.
