“Fantastic accommodation in stunning highland location” What a great find. The holiday starts with the fantastic scenery on the journey there. The modern house has large bright beautifully furnished rooms all with wonderful views. We ate out a couple of nights, both very welcoming and great value - a short stroll to the Summer Isles Hotel and a short drive to the Am Fuaran Bar at Polbain. We had some great walks all with breath-taking scenery and even had a dip in the sea in October! Highly recommended.

“Great houseparty” We brought a large family group of 17 to this wonderful house and the cottage in the grounds for Christmas. The house is very well equiped for a large group, especially the kitchen and the bathrooms. The house has been beautifully restored and enhanced with modern fittings. No complaints about the comfy beds from anyone. Sitting everyone down for dinner was no trouble at all. The house is in a very private location with plenty of space for everyone both inside and outside. The welcome pack was generous, the fires were roaring, 3 decorated trees and everyone was impressed when they rolled up the long drive. The owners arranged some first class clay pidgeon shooting and horseriding for us. Overall this was a very successful stay and we thought it excellent value for money.

“The most beautiful house in Keswick” What a wonderful place to stay. The views from the house were breathtaking. It is beautifully appointed, spacious, warm and comfortable. “A fantastic cottage in a great setting” We spent a long weekend at barnhaven on a chilly weekend in March, the cottage was warm and cosy, well furnished and very clean. The location was second to none in Brigsteer, picturesque and very quiet but only a few minutes from Kendal. The whole cottage is in great decorative order and the feature beams were stunning in all the rooms. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding and loads of space. A fantastic place to stay and would thoroughly recommend it, we will be planning another stay as soon as we can.

“Excellent stay in every way” Booked a holiday for the wife, the dog and me. On arrival you notice the great sea views straight away. After a long beach dog walk I could have. A warm down in the indoor heated swimming pool. I used the free wifi to upload photos to my blog. The kitchen has all mod cons to cook and clear up after a hearty breakfast. Plenty of places to visit. Fish and chips always tastes nicer by the sea. Another evening we enjoyed the new Coast restaurant at Coppet beach. Had a good nights kip in a comfy bed with en-suite. Trying hard to find fault, but cannot. Simply had a great time!

“Wonderful long stay!” My daughters and I stayed for a month here at this gorgeous cottage right in the center of Henley as we needed to escape the heat of the Dubai desert where we permanently live. Everything we possibly needed was there at the cottage. The location was superb and having Amanda on hand was ace. My girls particularly enjoyed the Epsom Salts in their bath and the odd pedicure too...! Very luxurious! I cannot recommend the cottage highly enough and will be back again next year! Thanks Amanda!

“Wonderful property - clean and really comfortable” Should have written this review immediately after our stay, but time has whizzed by. Staying at Mount Batten over the last New Year was the wonderful getaway that we needed after the hustle and bustle of a busy Christmas at home. We were lucky to enjoy fine weather most days and wished we'd taken the opportunity to do more of the coastal walks. The beach is conveniently just two minutes walk. The beds were soooo comfortable - unusual I find for a holiday home - we will definitely go back some time. Thank you.

“Comfortable,stylish and contemporary” This converted cottage is situated in a lovely part of the island and makes an ideal base for exploring. The cottage has a modern light ,spacious and airy feel. It is well equipped, and has good quality furnishings and fittings making it feel like a home from home. The only negative comment (or suggestion ) is that it needs a dishwasher and from a personal point of view I would put in central heating rather than storage heaters as much more controllable for visitors coming in the chillier months,although it was a warm cottage. The gardens are lovely and private and drop down to the pretty tidal creek.The furnished summerhouse is a real bonus. I took my elderly mother who enjoyed many an hour reading or watching the boats from it while I went off exploring with the dog. Although pricey (you have to pay for views and quality!!) I would recommend this cottage as an ideal place to stay and enjoy the island.

“Amazing place!” I decided to book this place for the weekend to take my boyfriend away for his birthday. Just like in the pictures it is an amazing place and great value for money. Very modern and great features with some of the latest smart technology. Sara was lovely and made us feel at home. The hot tub was a big bonus to our stay. I would defiantly recommend staying here I could not find any faults. We will be back and may even try out the other letting called clearviews with the rest of our family.

“Ideal For Our Family Holiday” Really happy with everything about our stay from start to finish. Communication leading up to our stay was excellent, as was the handy guide that had been left in the cottage. The whole place was very clean and we felt at home straight away. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen area was very spacious and everything was very safe for our soon to be three-year-old twin girls. The location was fantastic for what we were looking for. The New Forest Pub (Fullers) is literally outside the door and the Happy Cheese is five minutes up the road, both of which did good food and were family friendly. There was also a Co-op a short drive away to pick up supplies. We also spent days at Paultons Park (Peppa Pig World) and Beaulieu, both of which were a 20 minute drive away which was great. We were also just down the road from the more 'foresty' areas of the New Forest such as Bolderwood. I would 100% recommend Rufus Cottage to anyone looking to stay in this area and hope we'll be back again in the future.

“AMAZING” Honestly the best trip I have ever had in England! “Keepers Cottage, Red Wharf Bay, Anglesey” We have had the most wonderful week in this stunning cottage. The level of service provided by the owners was second to none with pinpoint directions to the cottage and clear instructions for operating all of the appliances. The place was spotless clean, well equipped and has a contemporary but cosy cottage feel which we loved. It was spacious and beautifully set out with 2 living rooms offering us different options for our children to play whilst the adults relaxed. There are two, clever and well set out, outside seating areas that are great to use in the warm weather. A 5 minute walk to Red Wharf Bay where we were able to eat overlooking the beach with a pub and cafe offering food. We will most definitely be back on our next visit to Anglesey.

“Little haven for all seasons” I stayed at the Saddlery in September, and have stayed here a few times previously. It is a little haven, with all the facilities that you need for comfort and relaxation. No detail missed. Clean and well maintained, at all times. Very tranquil surroundings, close to the amazing sights of Crummock Water and Buttermere. With quaint Cockermouth on your door step, and Wordsworth house. “Exceptional property in magnificent scenery” Exceptional in location, cleanliness and ambience of bungalow. From the picture window overlooking Inner Dundrum Bay across the lane and the Mourne Mountains, you may not wish to leave the comfy chairs at all. The welcome food on arrival set us up from the start, and the facilities and equipment provided were best we've seen. Thoughtful touches such as binoculars catered for all our needs. Opening curtains in the morning provided a different array of birds each time; swans, egrets, shellducks, curlews, heron for starters, dependent on tide level. Within walking distance of Murlough Nature Reserve for beach walks, shell collecting, seal-spotting; we counted over 60 seals at eastern-most end of Reserve. Dundrum village, 15 minutes walk away, with its castle ruins, has small supermarket and various eateries; would recommend Blue Bay Cafe (daytime) and Maghera Inn at Maghera for evening meals, menu available online. If you love the countryside, quiet and enjoy observing nature, this is for you. We stayed a week and had plenty to do in the immediate area too; Strangford Lough is 30 minutes drive and the ferry across the Narrows is an experience to savour. Also the scenic drive through the Mournes, the St Patrick Centre at Downpatrick, Down County Museum if wet. We came home with a sun-tan, though had expected to be rusty! Enjoy!!!

“Perfect holiday cottage in the heart of Swanage” We had a wonderful family holiday at Millpond Cottage the week before Easter. Ideally situated for exploring Swanage and the surrounding areas, Millpond is a very well thought out cottage. We were made to feel extremely welcome form the start and my two girls (2 and 4 years old) absolutely loved the way the cottage was right next to the millpond, with ducks coming into the garden. It was a short walk to local amenities (inlcuding local co-op, the steam railway and the centre of Swanage/beach). The weather was fantastic, so we were able to enjoy the local beach, which my girls loved (using the beach toys provided). We also enjoyed trips further afield including Corfe Castle (by steam train), Durlston Country Park, Margaret Green Animal rescue centre, and visiting Brownsea Island for a day (a highlight was seeing red squirrels!!). All 7 of us would highly recommend staying here (my girls didn't want to leave) and hope to visit again in the future.

“Perfect for our family holiday” This was our first trip away with two children (2 1/2 and 8 months) and Seagull Cottage couldn't have suited us better. The house itself is beautiful, retaining Victorian character with all modern conveniences, very tastefully decorated and comfortable at the same time. There was plenty of room inside and in the long sunny garden for our family of four. We spent most of our time in Broadstairs and Kingsgate which are both a short drive away (and walkable if you don't mind a long walk - Botany Bay 30 mins and Viking Bay 45 mins) and did a couple of day trips to nearby Whitsable and Sandwich. Fully intend to book for next summer.

“Excellent!” This was the second time we have stayed at the Mistal and both occasions have been excellent. The property is simply stunning. It is beautifully finished, includes everything you might need and is spotlessly clean. The surrounding areas are lovely as are the views from the property. The owners are wonderful - very friendly and on hand if you should need anything. We will no doubt stay again in the future.

“Excellent Holiday” Just come back from our lovely break in the Isle of White. Stayed at the Lodge which was beautiful, had everything and much more that we needed in the lodge including a hot tub which was amazing. The lodge is in an excellent location and is a decorated and equipped to a high standard. We were all very sad to come home. The owners Sue and Graham are next door and made us feel very welcome and were on hand if needed. Can’t wait to visit again
