“Great location, well equipped.” Beautiful house in great location; very central location, 2 mins from George St. Easy collection of keys; hassle free. Rented the house for a few days for a family get together. Nicely decorated and enough space to relax without being on top of each other. Enjoyed the stay very much, couldn't fault it. In fact, enjoyed it so much i could have moved in!
“Really restful stay” Really restful stay in Peebles. Very welcoming town and indeed area. The house really is a home from home. Loft room is certainly something special. Great communication and support from Lucy.
Local library is very accomodating with free internet use at the time we stayed and also late night opening. We enjoyed early evening drinks most nights at the Tontine (hotel) where the staff could not have been friendier, before the easy walk back to the house for dinner.
I would say however that the house has lots of pretty steep steps so may not be so good for those less mobile.
“Nice spacious house. Cheap too.” The house is large and well presented and the rooms very spacious with enough for 13 sleeping in there own bed without sharing. We were provided clean bedding and towels.
Auchtermuchty its self is a small town with a nice pub and local shops (co-op, foreways, chip shop etc) not to far away from St Andrews / Edinburgh.
The house is relatively cheap but there was few broken bits, a few beds had missing slats, the cooker looked poorly fitted, the dishwasher top draw was knackered, the upstairs bathroom hot water was a bit cold and parking was a bit tight with 4 cars.
Other than those largely cosmetic features it was lovely and suited our needs perfectly and I would visit again with my family.
“Good property in a good location” The property is in a great location with views out to sea and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is finished to a high standard with quality furniture.
i would have given it 5 stars but the property is advertised as having a upstairs shower room and a downstairs bathroom so we were expecting to find a bath in the bathroom. However the downstairs bathroom is just a toilet.
“Great townhouse in the Heart of Glasgow” After navigating the one way streets that surround the house we were able to find the house and the owners waiting for us. Upon meeting the owners I knew I had made the right choice to booking this rental. They were friendly, helpful and answered any questions we had. They left us with the keys and the feeling that the house was our home away from home.
The location of the house was probably my favorite feature. We were next to a park and a few minutes walk from the train station. We were within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. We walked pretty much everywhere in Glasgow and never felt that we were far from the house. it was a great home base. It took minutes to get on the dual carriageway or any other motorway you would need.
The amenities were great, two great bedrooms, a nice kitchen and a cozy living room made this house feel like home. Having our own parking space was great since we rented a car for our trip. Never having to worry about parking was a relief!
Overall this was a great rental and I would highly recommend it to any one wanting to stay in Glasgow.
“Excellent flat and a great holiday” Market View is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay: we felt at home straight away. It is surprisingly spacious and very well appointed, Liz and Chris seem to have thought of everything.There's plenty of storage space and the decor is very thoughtful and attractive. It is, of course, spotlessly clean and well maintained.Being in the town centre it is very handy for the shops (which open very early (from 6 o'clock) in Eyemouth, the bustling and interesting harbour, the beach and the attractions. Amazingly for a town of only 3000, Eyemouth has 3 museums, all of them a must to visit. Market View is ideal as a base for North Northumberland as well as the Scottish Borders. Eyemouth is on the Berwickshire coastal route with amazing sea views and some of the best seabird colonies in Britain,St. Abbs Head is a spectacular walk with thousands of seabirds. Great walking country all around as well as the many stately homes of the Borders. It's a great part of the world and Market View is a great place to stay. “Excellent house” Just spent a week at this excellent and well appointed house and cannot recommend it highly enough. Well furnished and equipped and only a few yards from the beach and harbour, the house is a perfect base for exploring this interesting and scenic coastline. Sarah, the house manager, gave us a great welcome and lots of information on places to eat and visit. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.
“Superb accommodation in immaculate condition.” We were greeted with a note from Alan and Jane welcoming us to the house together with a stocked refrigerator and a hamper of goodies. Everything was exceptionally clean and tidy with a change of bedding as we were staying for a fortnight. The accommodation was ideal for 5 of us with 3 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a very thoughtfully planned games room. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery for eating in together with brilliant cooking facilities if required. A separate laundry room, large dining table and very comfortable seating in the Lounge area together with large TV complete a marvellous property in the charming village of Crail. Thoroughly recommended and our hope is to return. Well done Alan and Jane
“Another excellent stay” This was our second visit to the Boathouse and I hope we will be back soon. The house is immaculate with so many nice touches. So much is provided to give visitors a comfortable stay. The location is very good, close to Banff and with excellent sea views from the house.
“Spacious comfortable and bright apartment” My sister and brother-in-law from Florida loved the views from the lounge of the avenue line with beautiful cherry blossom.
Apartment retains an old charm but with a modern kitchen and lots of space.
Ten minutes walk from supermarket and restaurants. Great position.
“Returned for the second time due to our love of the place!” This house is awesome! It has absolutely everything you need in a house from the 2 large living rooms to pool room and ping pong! The kitchen is open plan with the dining area and there are ample seats for everyone and great for a night in. The sound proofing is also a BIG plus in this house and you can't hear anything for those who have early risers or late nights, your other guests won't be disturbed by you. I cannot recommend this property enough and with such close access to the town centre as well as being able to walk not too far up the hill or along the river, it really has got everything going for it. Beautiful views over the park and a nice big garden at the back. we stayed in November (twice) and the property is lovely and warm with plenty of hot water too. A class.
“Superb beyond Comparison” We stayed here whilst attending a family wedding. The superb facilities in this outstandingly decorated and furnished apartment are second to none. We cannot rate this property highly enough.
Ideally located within a five minute walk to the town's centre of a ten minute walk to the first tee on the Old Course, the Townhouse caters for all your requirements.
The owners could not have been more helpful and the booking experience was first class.
