“Loved it!!” Cuckoo Cottage was the perfect size for us ( family of 4) and the location a stone's throw away from Luskentyre beach couldn't have been better!! This was our first visit to Harris and we loved it. My husband, a keen landscape photographer, was in his element and the kids loved the beach and the horses that lived there. Cuckoo Cottage was spotless and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into it, everything that we needed was there. One small area of improvement would be to tidy up the tv cables, but everything worked fine. Looking forward to visiting again!

“Exceptional” We booked this property for my wife's birthday. Everything is to high standard and is a home from home. The owner Sheila and her husband Bill are very nice and welcoming. Everything you need is within walkining distance and the east beach is seen from the large window. The beach is around a 5 min walk and if we could give more stars we would. One of the best get aways we have been on.

“Exceptional Property/Location and Stay” We had a four day stay with our 2 yr old daughter for visiting family in and around Aberdeenshire. This was perfect property for this as we like to relax after a day. Perfect place to do so and great being open plan but feeling cosy although we never got the chance to use the log burner due to weather this property would be a great stay in the winter. Our daughter loved trying to find goldy locks in the forest behind the house and love the walks along the road to the horses. We will defiantly be back and Mel was very easy to contact during our job Thanks Again Mel. The Scots

“5 star” Lovely property with garden. It has all the amenities you could possibly need. Parking right at the door and centrally located for all the restaurants and bars. Despite being next to a car park there is no annoying noise due to the flat being at the back of the building. I would not hesitate to book again in the future

“Mrs” Lovely cottage in heart of Comrie equipped with all you need, and more, for a relaxing break. Exceptionally clean and warm, the owners have thought of everything to make this a true home from home. The tower was a particular hit and many an hour was spent enjoying the views (despite very wet weather). Will definitely be back.

“Beautiful property, would highly recommend.” Stayed at Cairnhapple house for 3 nights to celebrate a family members 60th birthday. The house itself exceeded all our expectations. It was immaculately presented with an ideal layout for either a large family or a group of friends. The views and the outdoor space were fantastic too. I would just like to add that the photographs on the website do not do this house the justice it deserves. In reality the rooms are much larger, and the high level of decor and attention to detail which isnt evident in the photographs is second to none. Was great value for money compared to other properties we viewed. Will definately book Cairnhapple house again in the near future. Thanks for a great weekend.

“Amazing house for a family celebration!” We were a group of 8 adults, 6 children and a dog, and we all loved the house! I had booked it as a surprise for my husband's 40th birthday for our family, along with his sister's families and parents. It had great sized rooms and a wonderful cosy living room with fire. It was well equipped with everything we could need and more. We wouldn't think twice about going back!

“A gem in Bernera” We stayed at the ard for a week at the beginning of april. We had mixed weather but were always pleased to come back to the cottage. On arrival we were greeted with freshly baked scones and fresh flowers - a nice touch. Norma came round to make sure everything was OK and was on hand if needed but never intrusive. The cottage was always warm and had all the facilities we needed including a TV which wasn't small and had lots of channels! We would definitely recommend the ard and hope to return one day.

“Dr” a most exquisite house! site was fabulous for us...in the "wilds" yet near enough to Inverness. overall opinion from all 12 of us was a well kept home from a houseproud owner. rooms were large comfortable....very adequate common areas like 2 sitting areas; large dining room; a well stock kitchen; a wood burning fireplace were a hit with everyone. for the teens there was snow! we're from the tropics

“Great digs for a weekend of climbing.” Stayed here with 4 other mates for a weekend climbing in the Cairngorms. Ideal accommodation comfortable for all, especially me who got the master ensuite! Had cracking weather for a couple of the days so was a able to utilise the bbq facilities. Nice quiet accommodation a short and pleasant walk from train station/main street. Highly recommended and would stay again. Ideal for family, couple or small groups.

“Summit Lodge hits the heights!” Outstanding! Wonderful location. Incredible views. Beautiful lodge finished to an incredibly high standard. The owners Moira and Bob were so helpful both before our arrival, during our stay and have shown a real interest in us since we have left. The log fire in the Lodge is to die for. We hired the Summit Lodge as we were in St Andrews for our sons wedding. It was a fabulous location and made our wedding even more special. Only one complaint......it's too far from Ruislip in Middlesex other wise we'd be booking it up straight away!! THANK YOU SO MUCH Moira & Bob

“Beautiful view and lovely apartment” We had a wonderful time in this lovely studio flat. It's perfectly designed for a couple, and all with lots of attention to detail, and high quality facilities. Great hot showers for after walking. And most importantly the most incredible view from bed. Also a great location to be between Portree and Dunvegan. Joyce was very efficient and friendly, and we had a great holiday here.

“Beautiful Spacious House” Beautiful comfortable home. Even though it was in an estate, it was set back from the other houses, hidden amongst trees. This gave it more privacy. The house was well equipped, with plenty of room for the four children to play. The kitchen/dining room was lovely and spacious as was the main lounge. The house was in easy reach of Aviemore by car, as we had small children with us, we did not attempt to walk, as it looked quite far by foot. Our only complaint would be a lack of toilet roll. There was only about 1/4 roll in each bathroom and no spares, so we had to run out and buy some more. We all had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.

“Great place to stay, all you could ask for and more, definitely hope to return!” We had a fantastic stay at this lovely holiday home. Very well thought out, kids loved the toys and watching TV in bed. The highlight for us was watching a pod of dolphins swim past whilst enjoying the super views out to sea. Owners very helpful and friendly and have provided everything you could need, and at a high standard too. We would definitely recommend this charming holiday cottage. Excellent place, many thanks.
