“Neat and tidy home for two for two weeks sightseeing..........” Excellent location. 30 mins drive from Stirling and easy links to Glasgow (we went by train from Alexandria park and ride and to Edinburgh (we went by train from Stirling but found the timings a bit restrictive and so the second time used Inglston park and ride which was a longer drive but much more flexible in tram journeys. Lots of other sites local to the accommodation and we particularly enjoyed the boat trip across to Inchmahome Priory a few miles out of Aberfoyle on the Stirling road. Also, my wife is a big 'Outlander' fan and there were lots of sites used for filming in easy reach and, for Monty Python fans Doune Castle is a must (home of the French knights and also in a different scene Zoot and her many friends) Cottage itself was clean and newly refurbished (last year). Facilities were fine and as expected but beware that the freezer advertised is actually the icebox in the fridge. Not an issue for most so long as you are aware in advance (we checked with the owner) but might be for some. We were there for two weeks and did cook 'at home' most nights. As that was the only minor quibble I could think of I had to give the cottage a '5 star' rating.

“Fantastic facilities, great value for money” We stayed for 3 nights at the lodge and would have been happy to spend all our time there! The facilities are great, hot tub, sauna, wifi, full Sky TV package, and the lodge has everything you would need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. We have stayed at many other properties which were more expensive and less well appointed, would recommend for anybody.

“4 seasons in a weekend” Very clean and cosy. Comfy bed and a refreshing shower. Convenient for our chosen walks and the local shops etc. TV whilst it had a good picture was a wee bit on the small side for us older folks! Ruth assures us she's going to get a bigger one.

“Don’t miss this chance for a brilliant holiday.” Stayed here July 2018. Where do I start, the view is stunning. One of the best holiday homes ever. The cottage is so big, lots of room, 3 bedrooms 2 ensuit plus a bathroom with a bath, 2 sitting rooms, a dining room, breakfast Room, large kitchen, play room and a utility room. Outside, there are tables and chairs, in a lovely garden and plenty space to enjoy the view . Everything is well maintained the standard is excellent. We drove to Aberfeldy, killin, Kenmore, Pitlochry and dunked. Don’t miss a visit to the Scottish Crannog Centre in Kenmore (brilliant), the Birks o Aberfeldy and the oldest tree in Britain in Fortingall. Many more places to visit castles churches distilleries etc. A great holiday in a beautiful cottage.

“Lovely apartment in Stirling” Nice well appointed and spacious apartment, in a quiet area, close to the city centre. We had a lovely time using this apartment as a base to travel around Scotland, and wouldn’t hesitate using it again when holidaying around the Stirling area.

“Great Cabin and location” This was an excellent holiday, the cabin was just as described with everything you would need for a great family holiday. Its location couldn't have been better, backing on to the river and the site was quiet but close to all amenities. There is so much to do in the area and the boys had a great time. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. We would love to return sometime

“Birthday holiday” The apartment was lovely, clean & spacious Plenty of equipment with products we could use like dish washer tablets. Well set out. The only thing we struggled with was no outside washing line,but there is an inside airer. Nice walk from there into callander.

“Spectacular!!! A paradise in the country!” Wendy and Ian were the perfect hosts. The baked scones shortly after our arrival were so yummy. This cottage was refurbished with love and care. Everything a traveler would want in a home away from home is here. The bed was so comfortable, it made it very hard to get out of every morning. The beautiful views of Stirling Castle and the William Wallace Memorial were awesome, especially when they are lit at night. After a long day of sight seeing, this cottage was paradise to return to. It is so homey and comfortable where you can put your feet up, watch TV, surf the net with the WiFi provided or listen to music. Many times we just stared out the window at the beautiful view. We cannot wait to return and tell all of our friends about this oasis in the country. Do not hesitate to rent this beautiful cottage, you will love every minute of it.

“Excellent accommodation & location” The lodge was well equipped & had luxury touches with Arran Aromatics toiletries & Denby crockery. The beds were comfortable & bedding was lovely. Nice touches with fresh flowers, chilled wine in the fridge & shortbread on our arrival. It was very clean & the views from the lodge were amazing. We would recommend & will definitely return.

“Fantastic Accommodation” We spent two days here with our family which included 4 young children. The house was amazing and finished to a very high standard. It had everything you would need for large families and groups to have a comfortable stay. The room downstairs with the pool table and games consoles was especially popular with the kids and adults! Will be back to stay in the future.
