Hillcrest Cottage has been recently refurbished to a high standard and offers a fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining room with wood-burning stove, two tastefully decorated bedrooms and a modern family bathroom with bath and electric shower. All bed linen and towels supplied. The lounge has french doors leading to a good-sized garden with large patio area with seating for four. A secure cellar is available for guests to store bikes and other sports equipment. Parking is available on the street outside.
The Cottage is ideally situated within a short walk of Aberfoyle village centre where you will find a wide variety of amenities including pubs, bank, post office, a well stocked co-op store and an excellent tourist information centre.
Aberfoyle is situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and offers a wide range of activities for all the family. Go Ape and the visitor centre, located in Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, are within walking distance. The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the elusive red squirrel.
Water sports are available in nearby Kinlochard and Loch Katrine offers boat rides on the world renowned SS Sir Walter Scott. Aberfoyle Golf Club is nearby and welcomes visitors. Aberfoyle is an ideal base for walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching.

A lovely cosy cottage, very clean and well equipped. We have enjoyed a week of cycling and walking. The cottage is within walking distance of local shops including a fantastic butchers selling traditional homemade Scotch pies. Easy access to excellent cycle trails and forest walks. Would highly recommend and we will be booking again in the future.

I explained to you that the additional cleaning charge was as a consequence of our cleaner charging us an extra £20 to deep clean the very large amount of dog hairs that were on the sofa. “A wee gem”
Absolutely loved our stay here. Warm & welcoming, lovely decor, comfy beds and very clean. Had everything we needed & enclosed patio area was fantastic for our dog with lovely views across Aberfoyle & surrounding countryside. Ideal location for walking, biking & outdoor activities. “Perfect cottage in a lovely central location”
We loved this cottage first time round therefore our preferred choice for a re-visit to the area! Beautiful views from the patio garden across the town and the hills beyond, we even managed to sit out and enjoy the sunshine a couple of days. Cottage is Clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you may need. Complete Covid adherence is evident. Very good communication from Charles throughout the whole process and lovely welcome pack on arrival. 5 min walk to the Main Street where you’ll find shops, cafes and pubs. Lovely walks right from your doorstep too, who could ask for more! Will definitely return.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need. Welcome package after a long journey was a nice touch too. Amazing area, surrounded by Lochs, forests, waterfalls and streams. We would definitely visit this area again in the future great location and friendly people.

“Lovely cosy cottage in beautiful location”
My 2 friends and I and our 2 collies had a fabulous stay :) such a cosy spot and super clean. We loved the under floor heating as the weather was a bit damp and chilly. Aberfoyle is a great location, 2 lovely pubs with roaring fires and a well stocked co-op all a short walk from the cottage. We love the outdoors and Aberfoyle is amazing for walking routes and off road biking. We did long walks on forest tracks and gravel biking over to Loch Venacher. We will definitely be back later in the year to explore the huge number of trails and tracks in the area.

“Wonderful cottage in a lovely peaceful location”
Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely cottage. Very comfortable and really well equipped with everything you would need. Bedrooms and bathroom are on street level and lounge and kitchen is down a short flight of steps and is bigger than it looks from the photos. Enclosed garden with great views from the patio. The log burner was heaven! Lots of wonderful walks right on your doorstep and central if you want to tour further afield. Good eating places a short walk away with a well stocked Coop for any essentials. Great communication from Charles and thank you for our welcome gifts! Definitely recommend this property and we will be back again soon!

- How do damage deposits work?
