“The best kept secret in Scotland” This cottage was amazing the breathtaking views, the comfort and cleanliness of the home was better than any 5 star Four Seasons Hotel I have stayed in. It had everything to make this one of my best vacations in Scotland ever!!! Peaceful and away from hotels where everything is cookie cutter. Wendy and Ian are the most gracious hosts. I have booked my trip for next year with them again. SOOOOO now I guess the secret is out! BOOK now you won't regret it.
“Beautiful lodges in a lovely location.” As a party of 22 for my daughter's 'Hen Weekend' we took over the whole site. The main lodge was beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated in contemporary style - and a perfect place to accommodate the whole party. Well equipped with modern appliances, glasses etc and the Hot Tub was an added bonus. Located in a separate building it was easy to take turns while others chilled out watching the giant plasma tv. The 2 smaller lodges were beautiful too - ideal for some privacy whilst still easy to get together in the main lodge. The owners could not have been more helpful -both during the booking process and during our stay. I would happily return even in a smaller party as the location of the lodges creates privacy and also is close to both Stirling and Bridge of Allan. An excellent facility and a wonderful weekend.
“Magic experience that made our holiday” Fantastic. Great location, superb views of the Castle and looking towards the Trossachs. Easy access to the city centre, only a ten-minute walk. We stayed for 3 months and, as expected over such a long time. little things cropped up in the house, such as a broken water heater and handle snapping off the washing machine. But everything was dealt with promptly and to our complete satisfaction by Martyn. We stayed in both the small and arge apartments and they are both excellent.
“What amazing lodges.” Great hosts, lodge was 5 star loved the gardens very peacefull place, with easy access to the town. Will return for sure just for the hot tub!! Keep up the good work wish more places gave such a good service.

Superb in every way, excellent hosts, fabulous apartment.
This is an amazing place to stay, ideal for touring and nothing is left to chance in the accommodation. Fran and Alex have done a superb job in fitting out The Apartment, high quality throughout and everything one would need for self catering has been thought of. It's extremely warm and comfortable and, as other reviewers have said, the photographs don't do it justice, it comes highly recommended. …
Great Spacious family accommodation
The apartment was a very well presented, modern and smartly kept lower ground apartment of the main building.
It offered a lovely amount of room and all mod cons in the kitchen. Bathroom and ensuite were great for a family of four including 2 teenagers. The boot room was very useful too.
Despite being cold at time of visit the central heating worked really well and beds were very comfy
Cant fault it as an ideal base for the city (walkable in 15 mins) and for exploring further afield …

Amazing week in the most amazing house
Absolutely blown away with the high standard of the house and all the extras that were included. Being welcomed with a fully packed hamper was such a lovely touch. It was so nice to have a whole week with five children and not one of them telling me “I’m bored”! They’ve thought of absolutely everything at Burnside House, we cannot wait to rebook, highly recommended …
