Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“The best kept secret in Scotland” This cottage was amazing the breathtaking views, the comfort and cleanliness of the home was better than any 5 star Four Seasons Hotel I have stayed in. It had everything to make this one of my best vacations in Scotland ever!!! Peaceful and away from hotels where everything is cookie cutter. Wendy and Ian are the most gracious hosts. I have booked my trip for next year with them again. SOOOOO now I guess the secret is out! BOOK now you won't regret it.
“Fantastic accommodation in beautiful setting” Accommodation is amazing. House warm and welcoming and well equipped. Beds comfy and showers lovely. Brenda always gives a warm welcome and after 4 visits it feels like coming home. Thanks Brenda.
“Perfect cottage in every way.” We arrived slightly early but Lynn the owner said the cottage was ready and we could go in, wow, what accommodation, clean and tidy, immaculate in every way. It made our midweek break to a beautiful area of Scotland perfect.
The area around Sterling is lovely within a short drive you have the " must visit " Falkirk wheel and the amazing Kelpies, horse statues, just up the road, for Outlander fans, is Doune castle, where much of the filming took place and of course, not to mention, the Wallace monument, which is a short walk from the cottage.
This a highly recommended holiday cottage.
“Beyond our expectations, you won’t be disappointed” Absolutely beautiful apartment, from the moment you step in to the moment you leave it felt so welcoming and homely. The extra touches such as the welcome pack were lovely, thank you.
The location is so quiet but close to the town centre/train station you can leave the car which we did.
Anne couldn’t have been more helpful, introducing herself shortly after we arrived. Was nice to know that should we have any issues she was close to hand. (Not that we needed anything as literally everything was already thought of)
Great for all ages, dvds, books, board games are all provided.
Should we return to Stirling, the Laurels would be booked by us again without a shadow of a doubt.
Many thanks Anne
“Great accommodation in the centre of Stirling” This was perfect accommodation for us. My family were visiting for the festive holidays and we were looking for somewhere in the centre of town to be close to the town and station. This apartment is in a perfect location for both as well as close to the local sports centre, the Vue Cinema and various places to eat and walks along the Forth. The accommodation itself was great. Plenty of room, clean and comfortable and great views across the railway and the city at the front and out to the hills from the back. Steven, the owner, was really helpful and kept in touch before my family came to stay. I would recommend this accommodation.
