How we sort results
Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.

“A truely excellent cottage and very attentive owner” The cottage is in a quiet location in the village of Kiliin. It is very clean, well equipped and comfortable with a large private parking area at the front. The owner was very attentive and was keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We were arriving late and in the dark and were delighted to see that the lights were left on for us. There was plenty of bedding and towels and a detailed explanation of how things worked was available for guests. There is the soothing sound of water flowing down a burn to the rear and the river is on the north side. The cottage is surrounded by majestic fur trees that are home to small birds and cheeky squirrels. For us it was a great place to stay as we are into walking or cycling, but even if you're not there are lots to see and do in and around Killin. The village has plenty places to eat out. We tried them all and the food and service were excellent. There is a well stocked CO-OP and Chemist and also an outdoor centre where you can hire bikes, canoes etc. Our overall view of Killin was that it was a great place to stay. It was made all the more enjoyable by staying in this cottage. We had a lovely, relaxing time. Thank you Karen.
