“Perfectly positioned, spacious apartment, in the Heart of Glasgow” When we saw this apartment on line we thought it was too good to be true - and were delighted to learn that it was as good, if not better, than we'd expected!
The spacious and modern apartment is in the heart of Glasgow at the end of Buchannan Street - above Zara and opposite House of Frazer. It has a very spacious and comfortable lounge/dining area, a well equipped kitchen and 3 good sized, comfortable bedrooms - one of which is en-suite.
Our group of friends stayed for New Year, and the apartment was fantastic for sales shopping, it wasn't remotely noisy in the evening - and it was perfect to be in the centre of town and look down on the hubbub without any fuss, noise or nuisance. Simply, it was perfect.
John the host, could not have been more helpful. Great communication leading up to our booking, super friendly, very accommodating, couldn't do more for us.
Couldn't recommend the apartment highly enough! Thank you for your hospitality John, and for the special goodies on arrival - that was very thoughtful and we had a really terrific stay. We'll be back :o) See you soon!
“Excellent, comfortable, well equipped flat” This is an excellent, well equipped flat with easy access to Glasgow city centre. We picked up the keys from the concierge who then helped us to access the correct lift from the safe parking in the basement. Parking is at a premium in Glasgow so this was a welcome bonus. The flat itself is on the third floor in a modern complex by the River Clyde, well looked after, very clean and wonderfully warm - Glasgow can be a bit damp and chilly in the winter. If available when we next visit Glasgow, we will definitely book into here again.
“Fantastic place : central, modern, easy to access, great owner !” The flat is within 5mn walk distance from Glasgow Green, Buchanan Street, subway station. I would definitely recommend it ! The owner is really helpful and the flat was perfect in every aspects.
“Home away from home in heart of the city” If you're looking for a home away from home in the heart of Glasgow this is the place for you!
This town house has everything you need in terms of comfort, privacy and convenience.
I was looking for somewhere warm and inviting for our short visit to Glasgow where we were catching up with friends and family and a little sight seeing, and we found it right here.
The owner, Anne, was waiting on arrival to hand over keys and ensure that everything was in order. She also gave us great tips and local insights on Glasgow which we followed and enjoyed greatly.
Garnethill is a quiet residential area just a block away from the hustle and bustle of city centre. Within a short walk you can be in the city, at the bus, underground or train stops for local links, chips and curry one way, great restaurants, bars and cafés the other.
We love this city and when we come back I'll be booking this townhouse again. Thanks Anne. We enjoyed living like locals.
“Great penthouse” When people ask us what we liked the most in Glasgow, we cannot avoid having a thought for the penthouse. It is luxurious, without excess, very comfortable and clean (5 stars). It is very well located, within walking distance of everything.
But the most is the view, that is ubiquitous by the window/wall on all the south-west side of the apartment (include the master bedroom). The spectacle of the city, the River Clyde and the trains going in and out the station is captivating and it was in itself an attraction. And what about the beautiful sunset we can have almost daily. Even the rainy days, the sky still look wonderful. This apartment is certainly one of the very best you can have in Glasgow. Furthermore, it is well located, within walking distance of everything.
We cannot thank enough the owner, Cathy, who was a host very effective, welcoming and friendly.
“BRILLIANT APPARTMENT” had a great stay in this fabulous apartment very comfortable lovely furnishings in fact everything you could want--great meet and greet --central location 3 minutes walk from station --very near pubs etc even wetherspoons for breakfast only 100m away --many thanks
“A perfect home from home in Glasgows West End” I can't recommend this apartment highly enough. It is so cosy, comfortable and well equipped.Perfectly situated in the heart of the West end off the popular Byres road. Transport into the city is so easy with the subway literally across the road. With so many shops, restaurants and pubs at your door step, you are spoiled for choice. I will definitely return when in Glasgow again.
“Lovely and tranquil apartment overlooking the river” Just come from staying at this lovely and well kept apartment for three days.
Spacious kitchen which I took advantage of fully as my son got sick and we had to spend most of our time in the apartment. The beautiful view of the river just outside and the comfiness of the apartment made it a lot more bearable than if we'd been in an hotel or aparthotel. Was like being at home in a way.
Has a big balcony that would be awesome in the summer months.Even in April ,on the last day of our stay, the sun was out in full force and had a lovely coffee in the sun waiting for my hair to dry.
For the chemically sensitive, the air quality by the river was really good and the apartment great smells wise..as in no Febreeze or similar masking smells..no smells from any of the plug holes either which I know can be an issue in some apartments. So I thought it worth mentioning.
I stress this is for the chemically sensitive -make sure to take your own bedding adequate for a king size bed as the owner provided plenty but washed in normal detergents.
Owner left fridge and cupboards stocked with all sorts that he invited us to use.
Loved it so much am tempted to buy an apartment there!!
“Spacious, well equipped and in a great location.” The apartment is very spacious and furnished to a high standard. Located down a quiet street, just a few minutes walk to West End bars etc. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area.

Peaceful romantic lower floor attatched cottage
Beautiful as well as comfortable
A beautiful, comfortable place to stay for the 3 nights in July we allocated to this area. Nothing was left out ... everything we needed for the time we were there, was there! Comfortable bed ... so important, well equipped kitchen, nice sitting room to relax after a day out exploring the area, as a couple from Australia visiting Scotland for the first time is exactly what we wanted to do. Easy walk to the shops to pick up anything we needed. If we visit Scotland again, will book again and recommend to friends if headed your way. …
