“Stunning apartment in the heart of the harbour” The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean & has everything you could need. Being doggy friendly is a huge bonus, our dog loved her walks around the harbour and up to Westport that it is in walking distance of. The views from the balcony are amazing - sunrise and sunset, and a great place to sit and watch the goings on at the harbour. Cant wait to return. Alex is a great host, and gave us all the info we needed. Thank you.

“Perfect for our requirements” We visited Glenisla House to go to BonFest in nearby Kirriemuir. From the moment we booked, the landlady was super-attentive and spent time enquiring about local taxis to Kirriemuir and informed us about the best route to Forfar from our home town etc. There was a lovely welcome pack of local fayre and all the basics (and more) were included. Infact, all of the locals were incredibly welcoming and we had an lot of fun. You certainly couldn't fault the hospitality shown. The house itself is a little quirky (the lounge is upstairs for instance) but charming. The pictures on this site are an accurate representation of the house if you want to see how it looks - plus there is a newly refurbished downstairs loo as well. The games room is a nice touch and has two futon style double beds and its own bathroom. In our case, a 21 yr old was very happy with the space - like having his own flat! The main bedrooms are well furnished and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need (even a piano) and that is where we spent much of our time. The outdoor space / garden is just over the road - it's a very quiet street (just one car width) and has its own parking space. We would certainly stay again. Thank you for everything!

“Fantastic, very welcoming Lodge” We have stayed 4 times (a week each time and at different times of year) at Rowan Lodge and we find it VERY comfortable, cosy and ideally located for trips into the hills, to the fabulous beaches and further afield to visit Aberdeen and Deeside. The welcome is always wonderful - a superb breakfast hamper and other necessities and lovely, friendly owners. We cannot rate this lodge highly enough.

“Highly Recommended” This apartment is beautiful and has a lovely view of the harbour. We stayed for 2 nights over New Year and it was the perfect location for restaurants and walks. We brought our dog who loved the view from the balcony and this was perfect for us being pet friendly. The owners were very nice and welcoming, answering all our questions about the local area. Will definitely recommend and quite possibly stay again in the future!

“Everything you could want” We stayed in this lovely house during October half term with our 2 teenage girls and 2 dogs. Arrived to find a lovely basket of goodies which had everything you’d need to get you settled in and not having to then run off to the shops to get supplies as is quite often the case. The house itself is clean and warm and overlooks the golf course plus only a 10 mins walk to the beach which is perfect for dogs. Jimmy and his wife popped by to explain about the bikes in the shed that they allow visitors to use and you couldn’t meet a nicer couple. All in all a great place to stay for families and golfers alike.
