“Sooo relaxing” We had a wonderful stay at Seaside Cottage with our dog, Benji. To open the curtains in the morning and see the sunrise was breathtaking. Super walks along the beach and many friendly chats with the local dog walkers. Would certainly recommend it and hope to return next year.

“Perfect in every way! Even our cat had a ball!” Sandytoes cabin is a cosy, comfortable and welcoming home from home located in Sandyhills Holiday Village. The beach is minutes away and it is perfectly situated for trips to lots of different towns and attractions. Castle Douglas has lots of independent retailers and places to eat! Dumfries is great for shopping. Holly, the owner , is so kind and helpful! We brought our cat with us and Holly left a pack of Dreamies for her. Lovely little touches all round the cabin, which is beautiful! Everything you could possibly want or need in a holiday home is there. The badgers are so entertaining too! We loved our "badgerwatch" every night! They love croissants and peanut butter , by the way! This was the perfect break for our wee family with very comfortable accommodation. Loved it so much we booked to come back in 3 weeks time! Thanks, Holly!

“Couldn't be better!” It was a fantastic stay. everyone was incredible friendly, especially Agnes. we forgot to bring any towels. Agnes was quick to the rescue! The cabin was very clean, Agnes came round most days to quickly tend to the hottub. The cabin had everything you will need to make a stay comfortable and enjoyable. There are views of the Loch from the cabin and hottub. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay there again... Thank you Agnes! Al

“Loved it!!” Cuckoo Cottage was the perfect size for us ( family of 4) and the location a stone's throw away from Luskentyre beach couldn't have been better!! This was our first visit to Harris and we loved it. My husband, a keen landscape photographer, was in his element and the kids loved the beach and the horses that lived there. Cuckoo Cottage was spotless and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into it, everything that we needed was there. One small area of improvement would be to tidy up the tv cables, but everything worked fine. Looking forward to visiting again!

“Fantastic” Great location, fantastic views and the house is beautiful. Had a fantastic family holiday and the house was suited to all. Great for a relaxing holiday and right by the harbour which makes it ideal. Being going to Port Patrick for 20 years now and this is one of the best places we've stayed in by far. We will definitely be returning to this house in the near future! Stuart

“Very cosy” Nicely decorated, cosy and well-equipped cottage. Great Hot tub! The cows were a bit reluctant to let us go, as they were blocking the little road. The garden rabbit and the red deer on the hill made the wildlife experience complete.

“The most wonderful place to unwind” Good facilities. Comfortable beds. Efficient heating system - much appreciated as weather down to 3 degrees again for much of the time. Unbelievable views from the conservatory - across the loch to the Hebrides - and watching the shepherd with his dog bringing up the sheep many a morning.

Gorgeous views from the windows. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Hopefully we'll be back one day for a longer stay.

“GREAT PET FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION” Just like to say what a lovely cottage the added Christmas decorations made it feel just like home (wish it was our home). The Wood Burner was great and we could not believe how hot the radiator in the bedroom was it was so cosy.Loved the sofa and all the furnishings it was just as we would have picked, it was nice to have proper hangers in the wardrobe and not the plastic ones you usually find in holiday lets. Our only complaint would be the fridge it was a bit small and there was no freezer, ditch the dishwasher and put in a small freezer instead. Our dogs loved lying in front of the fire and running around in the garden however because of the weather they did not get to enjoy it enough if only it had snowed it would have been perfect. Thanks for the the milk and biscuits it really was appreciated. We hope to be back soon.

“Ideal holiday cottage in beautiful setting” This is a very nice cottage in a beautiful setting just outside Lochinver. The road continues on to the lovely beach at Achmelvich and beyond to the point of Stoer. The cottage is set back from the road so is very peaceful, with a lovely garden with a table for sitting in and small burn nearby. It is possible to walk from the garden up onto the surrounding hills to get a great view of Assynt. We enjoyed sitting in the sun porch in the evenings and watching the deer coming down to the bottom of the garden. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, with all facilities you would require including WiFi. All in all I would very much recommend staying at this cottage, particularly if you get the kind of sunny weather we did.

“A relaxing holiday.” The cottage was perfectly situated on the Peninsula overlooking the lake. Everything needed was in the cottage and it was clean and tidy. The garden was a nice added benefit and secure for the dog. Just one only point is the cottage didn't get any sun at all in the living area, so could feel quite cold, even when sun was out. The woodburning stove was a great asset for somewhat chill evenings.

“Perfect location with a cosy place to stay after a lond day.” We had a fantastic stay at Ben Lui.The cabin managed to fit all six of us (2 adults,4 small children),it was cosy but the kids loved it and the verandah was the perfect place to eat when the weather was good. The loch is stunning and we spent alot of time there on the swings and skimming stones, it was the perfect location to have our base with a gorgeous waterfall in walking distance and Oban a lovely drive away.On the whole a fantastic holiday that we're still talking about.

“Wonderful house in a great location.” 9 Duncraig Street is a spacious, well equipped, very clean property. It is set in a great location only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Inverness. The train station is only a 5 minute walk and a Tesco metro is directly behind the house. Clear and comprehensive directions to the property were provided by the owners and upon arrival we found a food welcome pack, a nice touch ! Free Wi-Fi is provided which is essential for anybody with teenagers ! There is a small enclosed garden with patio furniture and a barbeque. We had a great holiday staying in this property. The price we paid for the week's rental was excellent value and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others. Inverness is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of things to do and the scenery in the area is absolutely stunning. Whin Park is a great place for family fun and a trip out to Carrbridge to visit the Landmark adventure park is well recommended, an awesome day out for young and old !

“Beautiful location” This cottage is in a stunning location with beautiful views. It was well equipped with everything we needed. It was lovely and clean on arrival and the bedding smelt so fresh! It was very handy having the small shop/filling station across the road. There was also a nice walk next to the cottage to take our dog for an evening stroll. Donalda, the cottage owner was friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Wonderful Loch side view” We spent four days in this lovely upside down house! The views of the Loch are amazing - even more so when you get to eat breakfast on the balcony overlooking the loch in October! Close to local amenities, restaurants and hotel and coffee shops. “Quiet comfortable and spacious accommodation in beautiful secluded setting near local amenities.” Mol Ban is tucked away beside a lovely beach with great views and yet is near to the amenities of Tarbert and Scalpay and within easy reach of the roads leading to the other areas of Harris and Lewis. It is a very relaxing private spot but with open aspects. We enjoyed fabulous walks and scenery within a five mile radius of the house but also ventured further afield on easy day trips to the south of Harris and up to Callanish and Carloway on Lewis. The house was warm and very comfortable and was very well maintained. It was spacious, with two separate sitting rooms, and plenty of room for keeping boots and outdoor gear out of the way. We hope to go back some time.
