“A wonderful week” We are a family of four (2 children 14 and 12). We spent a week at 12 Tory in July. We loved, loved, loved the cottage. The setting, the décor, the kitchen, the comfortable beds, everything had been thought of. I have even taken a few design ideas to use back at my own home. I am definitely recreating the mini library in the corner of the living area. The area of Tory is high up overlooking Bradford on Avon, the walk in to town takes about 2 minutes down some steps, the walk up a bit longer, but nowhere near as bad as it first seems, we walked it many times during the week. Free car parking on road or car park behind. Kitchen has everything you need, modern and roomy. Living area, loved the sofa, a desk area, and the mini library (as mentioned earlier). The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in with gorgeous bedding. My kids have told me I have to recreate 'Maggie's beds' at home!!! The view from the bedroom windows is outstanding. I would open the windows first thing every morning and just take in the world quietly while waking up - bliss!! Bradford on Avon is a beautiful village, a good place to base yourself for seeing the local sights. We went to Trowbridge, Bath, Glastonbury, Stonehenge, Bicester Village, Newbury, Westbury to see the White Horse that can been seen from the cottage windows. The trains run very frequently from the very quaint Railway Station to Bath, Bristol, London etc. We are sorry to leave but feel very privileged to have stayed in this beautiful cottage. “Beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings” We stayed the weekend in this lovely converted stone barn. The work done to it is really excellent and all facilities were as good, if not better than we could have expected. Kitchen is very well kitted out and, like the bathroom, is very clean and tidy. A very large, very comfortable bed all added up to complete relaxation. There is a great selection of books and DVDs available and plenty of information on the surrounding area, in particular for walking and cycling. Karen and Richard were extremely welcoming and gave us great advice on what to do and provided a map and explanation of a wonderful walk and climb to the summit of Cadair Berwyn which was a fantastic day out. The area is spectacular with beautiful scenery on all sides. The town of Bala is a few minutes away with all amenities but not at all touristy or busy. The main tourist areas of Snowdonia are close at hand as well. We are already looking forward to a return trip.

“Great place to stay” Warm & friendly welcome from Sue and Len. Quiet location in the countryside. Fresh eggs highly recommended. Mobile 'phone worked fine on EE network. Now has very good Wi-fi. Excellent facilities. Would definitely stay here again :-)

“Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful location. Would highly recommend.” Absolutely loved our stay at Bannantyne House. Very modern and fully equipped. Beautiful location (car is essential). We didn't want to come home and we would love to go back in the future. Harris and Lewis are stunning with beaches that are so incredible. Thanks to Fiona for being so lovely and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

“Very Nice, Comfortable dog friendly cottage - great location for everything!” We booked Miriam Cottage at very short notice for a mini-break. We're a couple with one small dog, but the cottage can sleep up to 8 (I think) and would still be very comfortable. On arrival, the owner had left a really good welcome basket and there were plenty of towels etc. The cottage is an old fisherman's cottage and has been renovated using clean lines and colours and has very comfortable furniture throughout. The cottage is located a short walk away from the beach, pub (really great food (bit portions!) ) and post office/general store - everything was very close. We would definitely recommend Miriam Cottage.

“Excellent!” I just love all this area... Found it by chance, the lodge. Went with a friend and doggies... Words cannot express how much I loved this place, the owners are lovely, the staff oh! and the horses are lovely too. You must go,. Kiddies, adults dogs, will love the lodge, area, peace, tranquility, its BLISS... There are so many other places to visit too.. Do try it out, as I found it hard at times to found such a warm and friendly place to stay and be comfy and have some chilling out time...

“Perfect location for exploring the heritage Coast” Very clean , comfortable and well equipped cottage. Lots of storage and in a lovely peaceful position a ten minute stroll from the very pretty village and country pub which serves excellent food. The cottage is adjacent to a field which was great for our two dogs, although some form of gate or fence across the drive would be ideal. The owner popped in to make sure we had everything we needed which we really appreciated and we will certainly return.

“Perfect Cottage” We stayed here for 3 nights in early Jan 2019. It was exactly what we wanted & needed. We are a young couple who rely on a certain level of modern conveniences and button cottage had it all - the wi-fi was abit intermittent but manageable. It is exactly what it looks like on the pictures, a little slice of heaven with a cosy log fire and big stand alone bath tub. We booked last minute and the owners were more than accommodating even though they were traveling back from a trip to Ireland themselves. We had a little problem getting the key out of the box however a brief phone call to the owners fixed that. The cottage had informative packs on what there was to do in the area. The cottage had everything you could want to feel at home including a smart tv, a selection of dvds, a cupboard full of herbs & spices, a fully kitted kitchen including a dishwasher. We walked alot including to the local shop which had everything you'd expect & need. The longer more scenic walks were plentuful around Beadnall too but if thats too tiring a taxi to or from Seahouses only cost £6. Ideal location & set up. We would highly recommend & hope to visit again soon.
