“Lovely house and lovely setting” Beautiful location large enough for us all 7 adults and 1 child and 3 dogs and still room to be comfortable. Aga was an experience to cook on but easily mastered would recommend to all lovely place One suggestion would be a welcome folder with useful information like WiFi code and when to put rubbish out just a suggestion

“Beautiful location” Beautiful setting, fantastic farmhouse, everything you need is in the house. On arrival we had a welcome pack, a home made cake, sausages, bacon, eggs, fresh bread, jam, etc,, etc. The owner was very helpful, even showing the children around the farm to meet the animals, which they loved, Quite central to most towns, Would definitely return.

“Family friendly cottage” This was my first time renting a holiday cottage and the bar has been set very high! We were two mums with three boys (aged 6, 8 and 8) away for a long weekend and we were impressed with this as a very family friendly cottage: a very large open plan dining kitchen with views of rabbits running around; a separate tv room if the boys wanted to watch a dvd; a cosy family room for board games by a wood burning stove in the evenings; a large garden for the boys to play football and rugby in. Once we got all the heaters switched on when we arrived, the cottage was warm and cosy. The location is also ideal for local walks etc. I will definitely be looking to make another booking in the future.

“Charming, characterful and child friendly!” I stayed at the Duffus farmhouse recently with a group of friends and we had a lovely time. The house is big, well decorated and very well equiped. We arrived at night and it took my breath away opening the bedroom curtains the next morning to see the ruins of Duffus Castle practically in the back garden of the farmhouse. The little touches like the welcome basket with eggs from the estate small holding, the log burner in the living room and the equipment for babies and toddlers all make a huge difference to an easy, relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

“Lovely” This is a lovely, quirky old cottage in a very pretty spot. We stayed for a night to break the journey back from Cornwall, it was my birthday and we had a beautiful family meal in the garden looking over the trees and valley. It’s very quiet, apart from horses and birdsong. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and took time to show our boys (3 and 6) the horses. Only downsides really are that you can’t wander around too much beyond the cottage and its garden with the kids. The double bed we slept in was super comfy, but the other one was on the saggy side (probably only a problem if you have back trouble). The area is beautiful too, high above the Dorset coast, but really quiet, even on a sunny Sunday morning. Great value - same cost as a Travelodge and 100 times nicer (if you don’t mind bringing your own sheets). Thanks.

“Fantastic couple & family , nothing is a problem to them .” A real pleasure sitting eating breakfast looking out at Sanda Island , Mull of Kintyre. The spotless farm house has a number of assets throughout . Looking forward to returning for more relaxation.

“fabulous cottage, wonderfully helpful owner and a brilliant birthday weekend!” We had a perfect weekend from start to finish. Lorna went out of her way to help with the booking process and with helping me make arrangements for the group whilst we were there. The cottage was toasty and spotlessly clean when we arrived and nibbles were waiting for us too! We had a dog with us and he had as much fun as we did. Beautiful area to explore but the real coal fire helped with the rainy days! Make sure you say hello to the donkeys too, they were lovely! The only piece of advice I have is you need to keep a very close eye out for the sign for the house at night as we did go past it but googlemaps is pretty accurate. Will definitely be back for my birthday next year and hopefully again after that!

“The most relaxing weekend ever - thank you!” We have just left The Acorns and have already booked our next visit! The cottage is well equipped with everything that you could possibly need during your visit. It is warm and cosy, home-like but with modern touches like the hot tub (a thumbs up from the whole family!). The welcome pack is a real bonus and lasted for most if our stay. Like previous guests we would too recommend The Dog & Muffler, lovely food and again warm and welcoming. We also recommend The Saracens Head in Symmonds Yat East. We have eaten here before, the food is always lovely and the setting beautiful - both pubs mentioned are also dog-friendly. Mentioning dogs our Labrador has had the holiday of a lifetime playing with the owners dog Murphy! Thank you Sarah and family for an all-round lovely weekend x

“Great house, perfect atmosphere for weekend with friends, and our wedding!” Angela was very helpful and easy to contact when we were planning our stay. Able to cater for individual needs. Flexible about arrival details, gave good advice about nearby services. Amazing house, beautifully maintained. Perfect atmosphere for our wedding weekend (wedding at another venue but all friends stayed at the house for the weekend). Fantastically equipped kitchen, 22 of us fitted very tightly round the table for meals. Hot tub was good fun. Easy to find with directions.

“Manchester” We had a 2 week excellent stay and enjoyed every minute of it. The kids loved the space. We had a great time in the games room and had many tournaments. The 14 ft trampoline was a delight. The spacious garden with several benches in different locations gave everyone the possibility to relax in their own corner. The owners made us feel very welcome and left clear instructions and many leaflets for a variety of attractions and 2 weeks wasn't adequate. A late night return after a day out was an extra bonus as we saw owls and a fox in the woods close by.

“Fantastic - this house has it all” This is a well equipped, comfortable house which will meet many holiday needs. Comfortable beds, great showers, plenty of room, sociable kitchen, we love the house. It was perfect for our 5 and 8 year old to explore the garden and a little further away, the fields. The house is decorated with the many personal touches which show it is regularly used by the family too. Also excellently located for the North Coast of Antrim, we used it for trips to the beach (recommend West Strand, Portstewart), places of interest (Giant's Causeway, Carrick-na-Rede), and nearby towns (Coleraine, Portrush, Portstewart, Ballycastle). Super place!
