“Stunning conversion” The conversion is beautiful, it was a real pleasure to stay there. The finish was quirky and high quality. We loved the log burner, the wonderful deep, luxurious bath, and cooking from the pulpit.

“A place to rest, recharge and relax” I was expecting something a bit unusual (how does one convert a Chapel into a dwelling...) and I wasn't disappointed, the Old Chapel has lots of charm and quirkiness and at the same time it is very modern, and clean. Lots of attention to details, I particularly liked an enormous folder full of useful information, second best must be the cast iron open stove to curl up in front and third to sleep on the mezzanine floor. We wish we'd gone later in autumn, the forest must be awesome when the leaves change colours but all the same it is a magical place. If I had to suggest one thing to do I would say an half day trip to Symonds Yat Rock + one of the walks along the river Wye, unforgettable very dramatic scenery. Thank you guys for a perfect long weekend

“A dozen trips to England and this was the absolute best!” Our stay at the Chancel was fabulous! The property is picturesque, comfortable and outfitted like our home - not a rental. The gardens, where we spent many afternoons, are both peaceful and beautiful. The interior tastefully incorporates the stained glass windows, carved stone arches and vaulted ceilings of the original 16th century church (moved to its current location in the 19th century). It's conveniently situated within easy driving distance to many interesting towns (Lyme Regis, Swanage, Wareham, Dorchester, Netherbury, etc.) Don't miss breakfast at the schoolhouse in Moreton, fossil hunting along the Jurassic Coast, and touring the ghost town of Tyneham. The sunset from Purbeck Hill is fantastic. And, for military fans, the Bovington Tank Museum is a must. (Have a care, as the Army actually trains its tank drivers on nearby public roads.) We've traveled from the U.S. to visited England and Scotland many times. This was the most charming and relaxing trip yet. We plan to return to savor it again very soon.

“Utterly gorgeous and completely unique” We arrived in May to find this stunning converted church surrounded by a thick carpet of bluebells and with a deer roaming around the garden. It has three very comfortable bedrooms sporting lovely furniture (4 poster!) and original period features throughout. There's a huge hall for entertaining and a snug living room for cosying up in the evenings. The location is perfect, right by the sea which was a wonderful sight from the breakfast table every morning and it's just a a short walk from the distilleries. Ardbeg distillery is just up the road and it offers a delicious lunch with a menu that changes daily and feaures locally sourced produce. I had a fantastic family holiday here with three generations of my family and we all fell in love with this unique holiday let. I couldn't recommend it enough.

“RELAX IN STYLE” This was the most relaxing holiday we have ever taken. The Chapel is an amazing place to stay. We all had a great time in the garden and games room. The pool table was great fun. The chapel is a very comfortable property with everything you could possibly need. The internet connection is very slow and mobile reception is none existent but if you are wanting a relaxing holiday then that is what you want.

“Perfect holiday let” The location is right by our favourite beach black rock so that was a good start. It's lovely from the outside just as nice on the inside. The windows upstairs are a great feature. Parking is good plenty of space. All you need is in the house. It's like a home away from home. Kids settled there straight away. The views are beautiful out the front. Many times we caught the kids sat in our room watching the golf. The shops are local all very handy and a Tesco's just up the road also Aldi and Lidl. Habour not far for a nice evening walk. Would definitely stay again.

“Wonderful” This was our 2nd visit to St Marys and we enjoyed it even more than the 1st time. Stayed over the Christmas period and loved the peace and quiet once again. Excellent walks with our dogs who just slept the whole time in front of the fire when they got back. We are synchronising our diaries to return again next year. Thank you once again Peter for allowing us to stay in such a lovely place.

“A fab weekend.....” We would like to say a huge thankyou to Ian and Debbie. Yiu have an amazing jouse is a picture perfect location. Nothing was too much trouble and everything we requested prior to our arrival was answered so quickly. 10 adult's and a 3 year old fitted in so easy with more than enough room in the kitchen and lounge.
