“Excellent apartment with fabulous sea views” We (2 adults and our five year old) stayed in the old photographic studio for 6 nights. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the owner Philip who provided us with a few holiday essentials for our stay including tea, ground coffee and a lovely bottle of wine! This apartment is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, everything is good quality. It has everything you could possibly need including a fully kitted out kitchen and large dining table. The sofa bed is a generous size and more than adequate for our five year old who loved it. The apartment is right on the seafront and it is a 5 min walk to the pier in one direction and about 15 mins walk to the marina in the other direction. The Marina also has a large selection of shops and restaurants. The Lanes which again are no more than a 10 min walk are filled with lovely restaurants, cafes and unique shops. Brighton also has a large town centre with all the major retail outlets if shopping is on your agenda. One thing I would mention about Brighton for anyone that is unfamiliar is that the beach is shingle, not sand but plenty of free deckchairs and lots of 'al fresco' eating and drinking establishments tucked away under the pier. We were delighted with our choice of this apartment, the location could not have been better and would definitely stay here again if we return to Brighton.

“Lovely couple” Accommodation is great, with a secure garden for the kids to play. Alan and Claire are lovely and pretty much supply everything need, milk, bread, breakfasty type foods and best of all we some homemade Bara Brith, gorgeous! Alan took the time to pop up to make sure we had everything and give us a heads up on the locality. The apartment is a very short, and flat, walk to the beach and local hotel. Great find, will definitely look into going back there.

“Fantastic cottage” We had a lovely week at Cuan Beag. The property is well equipped and finished to a high standard, with everything we needed. Comfy beds, good showers, welcoming stove. The views are amazing and we were prividledged to see a pair of sea eagles. The weather was a real bonus. Highly recommended.

“Amazing apartment in perfect location” No matter how good the photos are on an advert you always expect something not to be quite the same. Nothing could be further from the truth with this fabulous beach side apartment. The location is amazing with stunning views out to sea and the apartment itself is wonderfully decorated,spacious well equipped and the bottle of fizz waiting for us on arrival was the icing on the cake. We only stayed for two days to attend a swimming gala at the nearby aquatic centre but we are already talking about a return trip just to enjoy the apartment and those views. Short walk to some great bars, all in all a perfect weekend just over too quick.

“Family time” We stayed for 5 days from 30th may .What an amazing lodge weather was amazing just a shame entertainment passes are not included at 89.00 pound for 4 days 5 night's and you don't get anything for them except allowed to enter arcades and buy drinks it was when we took our 6 year old grandson to play in arcades and all play area we were told no pass no drinks not allowed in .. Great fishing at the lodge would go back but only if passes are included in price ..

“Great serene retreat” Booked with family for a couple of days. Really enjoyed it so much. The kids enjoyed the pool and the great outdoor experience. The cabin was very well equipped and clean and well decorated. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful. I will highly recommend this for anyone looking to a enjoy a relaxed retreat

“Short trip” We stayed in No 2 apartment. It was a delightful tasteful mixture of new and old. Extremely clean and well looked after. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. It had everything you would ever need for a longer stay too. We would definitely come back again.

“Wonderful Scenic Hilltop Chalet” Lovely views from the chalet down the valley and out to the sea. Well worth the hike up the uneven path to the room, mobility is a must for this chalet. We loved our week there the chalet was clean there were no bustling crowds in fact the only visitor we had was a Rabbit every so often. Wouldn't hesitate to book again if we are back in the area.

“Fantastic accommodation!” Lovely accommodation excellently situated on the way out of the village of Aberfoyle but perfect walking distance to the shop and pub/hotel. The owner has clearly put thought and care into the decoration and furnishings in the cottage - the underfloor heating was wonderful! The box of shortbread and fresh milk left in the fridge were lovely gestures and the kitchen was very well equipped. We had a lovely stay in the Trossachs and Hillcrest was a perfect base for us. My only disappointment was that the weather was too warm for us to make use of the wood burning stove! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Trossachs area.

“Perfect Cottage” We stayed here for 3 nights in early Jan 2019. It was exactly what we wanted & needed. We are a young couple who rely on a certain level of modern conveniences and button cottage had it all - the wi-fi was abit intermittent but manageable. It is exactly what it looks like on the pictures, a little slice of heaven with a cosy log fire and big stand alone bath tub. We booked last minute and the owners were more than accommodating even though they were traveling back from a trip to Ireland themselves. We had a little problem getting the key out of the box however a brief phone call to the owners fixed that. The cottage had informative packs on what there was to do in the area. The cottage had everything you could want to feel at home including a smart tv, a selection of dvds, a cupboard full of herbs & spices, a fully kitted kitchen including a dishwasher. We walked alot including to the local shop which had everything you'd expect & need. The longer more scenic walks were plentuful around Beadnall too but if thats too tiring a taxi to or from Seahouses only cost £6. Ideal location & set up. We would highly recommend & hope to visit again soon.

“Fantastic holiday.” Perfectly situated looking over Garlieston harbour,, the house is beautifully presented and has everything required for a comfortable stay (there is no washing machine but this was no problem at all for us) Mary couldn’t have been more helpful in the run up to the holiday and answered any queries we had promptly. The view from the front of the house of the boats resting in the harbour is enchanting and an inspirational sight to wake up to in the morning, to the rear the view is of a lovely countryside scene complete with visiting cows in the adjacent field every morning! The coastal walk which starts right next to the house is well worth tackling, there is a fantastic sandy beach about a mile along, which, when we went there, my grandson and I had completely to ourselves, brilliant! There are many and varied visitor attractions in Dumfries and Galloway to satisfy folk of all ages, we were particularly impressed by the forest walks in Dumfries and Galloway forest park, even our 7 and 3 year old grandchildren were impressed by the scenery! The nearby towns of Wigtown and Newton Stewart provide all your shopping and fuel needs but if you need bread, milk etc there is a small shop and filling station in Garlieston. The Harbour Inn in the village has delicious food and cheery, friendly staff, indeed, the people of Garlieston are very friendly and cheery too! Nearby Wigtown is a great wee town and has many bookshops that you could spend the whole week browsing in, well worth a visit. In summary I would highly recommend “Cladach” which is incredible value for money in an enchanting location. We are missing it already!

“What a View” We were party of six and a dog the house was perfect for us all .Fantastic views and the beaches and amenities lovely one slight problem with down stairs shower the water did not drain well on the whole we had a great holiday and would love to return .

“Perfect for our family!” Spotlessly clean and beautifully built accommodation. Catered for our 15month old son with a travel cot and high chair, we just had to be careful of the stairs as obviously no stair gates (as we'd have at home) but we tag-teamed and we're cautious. A few mins in the car to Whitby only. There's a view of the sea from the grounds which was a nice surprise too. Saw wild deer, hares ducks etc in the fields from our window which the kids loved. Definitely recommend, Jenny the owner is lovely, 10/10!!! Xxx

“chocolate box cottage” This beautiful cottage is tucked away in a little hamlet at the bottom of a wooded valley about two miles away from the fishing village of Looe. Although small, this cottage is so well organised with oodles of storage space, it feels cosy rather than cramped; certainly for a couple or even three people. It has plenty of period features such as thick walls and uneven floors which add to its many charms. The interior of the cottage is fitted to a very high standard, with a new kitchen and bathroom, a good selection of crockery, pans and utensils in the kitchen and finished with lovely touches such as luxury toiletries and delicious scones. Finally, what could be better after a day spent exploring the many wonders of Cornwall than to toast your toes in front of a roaring fire in the log burner.
