“Excellent location,very well equipped warm and clean and tidy.” Situated about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the village and 6 minutes to a local shop with the village pub just a further couple of minutes further away . Access is up a steep drive with 2 car park spaces. Views from the cabin over Loch Sunart excellent. Very well eqiupped with all facilities . A small mirror in the second toilet above the wash basin would be handy . The televisions and hi fi equipment excellent but somewhat complicated to operate with too many remote controls . Overall very comfortable and would come back again.

“Fantastic” Absolutely gorgeous cabin; spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Ideal for our family. There is a swimming pool, gym, tennis and crazy golf all on site, ideal for our active teenagers. Table tennis and a little cafe serving food and drinks also available. Lovely grounds to explore and close to lots of local attractions.

“A relaxed escape to the country” If you have never been to Loch Ness and the surrounding areas, Alex & Janet's little hideaway is absolutely perfect as a base. No detail was overlooked: directions, Welcome pack of biscuits & chocolates which our kids loved, Separated packs of information with walks and local interests, even dog treats they understand hospitality to the letter. A home from home you only need to bring some food or pop to Tesco/Asda which was a reasonable 20miles ish at Inverness. The location was perfect we were within reach of Inverness, Fort agustus and the Fall of Foyers, which was our primary visit, and on a clear night which we were lucky to have one the night sky is something to see. If you are a family looking for walks we found that the forestry commission walks were best as they were marked out by difficulty and colour coded posts throughout the chosen walk (avoids embarrassing moments of getting lost). For us it was a break to escape the typical 'busy' life and a chance to reconnect with each other as a family with some board games (take some) and country air.

“Amazing, didn't want to come home” Thank you so much for letting us stay in this amazing picturesque cabin. Kids adored it and so did we, I felt so relaxed here. We enjoyed the pub at the top, cheap drinks! The park on site! We went to Barmouth which is a 20 min drive away and has amazing views and beach. Kids just loved the nature, the swing in the trees is a must, we were there for an hour each night . We will definately be coming back here again, already discussing it now. Thanks again

“Very peaceful, romantic, quiet and secluded” We loved our stay at Sika lodge. It was a very peaceful place to stay and the owner was very welcoming. We loved the log burning hot tub which got to a lovely temperature. We went to the silent woman pub very close by and had a meal whilst sat opposite a burning fire which was lovely. We also visited monkey world which was close by and, went horse riding on the beach a short drive from the lodge. We enjoyed walking the dogs in the woods with our own private entry to this. The fire at the lodge kept the whole place lovely and warm. We would definitely stay again. Perfect for a relaxing and romantic weekend away with your loved one.

“Perfect Family Getaway” We booked Pine Tree lodge in June for a family get together - 4 couples and 4 children under the age of 5 and it was perfect for our needs. The owners were extremely helpful right from the start and communicated with me from the moment of booking. Not only were all our needs catered for but they ensured that we had everything we could possible need for the children - from bottle prep machines, sterilizers to outside toys for the older kids, including a trampoline, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was also well equipped with all the essentials. Situated on the shore of a lake we had water sport activities right on our doorstep, or it was only a short drive to the coast. Would recommend.

“Mind blowing” After a hectic year, I decided to look for a calm and relaxing place to visit. Many choices came to mind including overseas destinations. However, Scotland was a place I never visited and have heard a lot about in past. I searched and searched and came across Beithe Log cabin, discussed and showed to my wife and kids and everyone almost instantly agreed. Coming from London was a long way but then again, it was a worth while. Very clean cabin, relaxing and scenic. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

“What an amazing place to stay” Everything about our weekend at Roundstone View was just perfect. Thanks to Kim for great communication and a very warm welcome when we arrived, the goodies in the fridge were very much appreciated. There was nothing we could fault about Roundstone, it really is a beautiful lodge, with absolutely everything you could want, the photographs are great but actually being there is just amazing. The decking area with the sun shining was great for our family BBQ and so good to fish from our own little platform - would I return??? Oh yes as soon as possible - thanks for a brilliant weekend.

“Comfy lodge with great views” Visited Screel lodge with our two boys (14 & !2) during the October school week and had a great stay. Views across the golf course were great and the wildlife was fantastic. We were visited by 'Boaby the badger' every evening and the lodge was very cosy and warm. Christine the owner was very helpful also. Hope to visit again some time.

“Brilliant, wouldn't change anything” Beautiful lodge, excellent location, ample sized bedrooms, cosy lounge, amazing view of the lake inc private fishing peg. Only comment is about the complex rather than the accommodation, the on site shop is pretty expensive, we recommend a short drive to the Co Op in Tattershall for your main shop. “Wonderful holiday in beautiful location” We stayed in this log cabin at the beginning of March and have to say we had a really lovely holiday. We only read the previous review after we had booked and so were a bit anxious about what we would find, but we needn't have been. The cabin was spotlessly clean and fresh, warm and comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. One of our favourite things to do was to sit on the decking with a glass of wine watching and listening to the birds. We had lots of lovely long walks with our dogs on the area's beautiful beaches and surrounding woodland. We also enjoyed some wonderful home cooked meals in the traditional pubs which were a short drive away. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday and we are looking forward to returning.

“Idyllic retreat” This is a wonderful, 'get away from it all' location. The log cabin is very well furnished and equipped, very cosy and comfortable. Suitable for up to 3 people, might be a bit of a a squeeze for 4. Owners on hand if you need anything but not intrusive. Wonderful views over Pontardawe and easy access for Brecon, Gower and other tourist sites. We loved it!
