“Excellent location,very well equipped warm and clean and tidy.” Situated about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the village and 6 minutes to a local shop with the village pub just a further couple of minutes further away . Access is up a steep drive with 2 car park spaces. Views from the cabin over Loch Sunart excellent. Very well eqiupped with all facilities . A small mirror in the second toilet above the wash basin would be handy . The televisions and hi fi equipment excellent but somewhat complicated to operate with too many remote controls . Overall very comfortable and would come back again.

“Fantastic” Absolutely gorgeous cabin; spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Ideal for our family. There is a swimming pool, gym, tennis and crazy golf all on site, ideal for our active teenagers. Table tennis and a little cafe serving food and drinks also available. Lovely grounds to explore and close to lots of local attractions.

“What an amazing place to stay” Everything about our weekend at Roundstone View was just perfect. Thanks to Kim for great communication and a very warm welcome when we arrived, the goodies in the fridge were very much appreciated. There was nothing we could fault about Roundstone, it really is a beautiful lodge, with absolutely everything you could want, the photographs are great but actually being there is just amazing. The decking area with the sun shining was great for our family BBQ and so good to fish from our own little platform - would I return??? Oh yes as soon as possible - thanks for a brilliant weekend.

“Perfect for a family of four on the hunt for daytime adventures & cosy nights.” Location and accommodation both great. Very clean and cosy. Our 10 & 12 yr old daughters loved their bedroom up the ladders. Diana and Rob were perfect hosts - on hand for suggestions of places to visit. Lovely touches like dvd's and games in the cabin. Really enjoyed the flexibility of picking our days - rather than the larger places where it has to be fri-mon etc..

“Brilliant, wouldn't change anything” Beautiful lodge, excellent location, ample sized bedrooms, cosy lounge, amazing view of the lake inc private fishing peg. Only comment is about the complex rather than the accommodation, the on site shop is pretty expensive, we recommend a short drive to the Co Op in Tattershall for your main shop. “A relaxed escape to the country” If you have never been to Loch Ness and the surrounding areas, Alex & Janet's little hideaway is absolutely perfect as a base. No detail was overlooked: directions, Welcome pack of biscuits & chocolates which our kids loved, Separated packs of information with walks and local interests, even dog treats they understand hospitality to the letter. A home from home you only need to bring some food or pop to Tesco/Asda which was a reasonable 20miles ish at Inverness. The location was perfect we were within reach of Inverness, Fort agustus and the Fall of Foyers, which was our primary visit, and on a clear night which we were lucky to have one the night sky is something to see. If you are a family looking for walks we found that the forestry commission walks were best as they were marked out by difficulty and colour coded posts throughout the chosen walk (avoids embarrassing moments of getting lost). For us it was a break to escape the typical 'busy' life and a chance to reconnect with each other as a family with some board games (take some) and country air.

“Very peaceful, romantic, quiet and secluded” We loved our stay at Sika lodge. It was a very peaceful place to stay and the owner was very welcoming. We loved the log burning hot tub which got to a lovely temperature. We went to the silent woman pub very close by and had a meal whilst sat opposite a burning fire which was lovely. We also visited monkey world which was close by and, went horse riding on the beach a short drive from the lodge. We enjoyed walking the dogs in the woods with our own private entry to this. The fire at the lodge kept the whole place lovely and warm. We would definitely stay again. Perfect for a relaxing and romantic weekend away with your loved one.

“Mrs” We had a fabulous time at Neam Crag and the cabin was very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed. Some beautiful walks from nearby even our nearly 6 year old boy was kept well entertained and enjoyed the walks. “Mind blowing” After a hectic year, I decided to look for a calm and relaxing place to visit. Many choices came to mind including overseas destinations. However, Scotland was a place I never visited and have heard a lot about in past. I searched and searched and came across Beithe Log cabin, discussed and showed to my wife and kids and everyone almost instantly agreed. Coming from London was a long way but then again, it was a worth while. Very clean cabin, relaxing and scenic. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

“Wonderful holiday in beautiful location” We stayed in this log cabin at the beginning of March and have to say we had a really lovely holiday. We only read the previous review after we had booked and so were a bit anxious about what we would find, but we needn't have been. The cabin was spotlessly clean and fresh, warm and comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. One of our favourite things to do was to sit on the decking with a glass of wine watching and listening to the birds. We had lots of lovely long walks with our dogs on the area's beautiful beaches and surrounding woodland. We also enjoyed some wonderful home cooked meals in the traditional pubs which were a short drive away. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday and we are looking forward to returning.

“Absolutely Fantastic” If you are looking for an Idyllic spot to get away from it all, chill and relax then this is the place. The Chalet was superb, clean and spacious and kitted with everything you could need to enhance your stay in the Highlands. The views are fantastic and each day brings its own highlights. Snow capped peaks mirrored in the Loch one day, rolling waters the next. You can even walk up the hill at the back of the Chalet to get and even better view and with Ben Nevis on the landscape, what else could you ask for. If you are lucky you may even get a glimpse of the Stags. Grahame and Eileen are close to hand if you need help and advice, two lovely people. I loved this place and I have fell in love with Scotland and when I return I will return here.
