“Excellent Accommodation” Exactly what we needed for a cosy and very comfortable break over New Year. Owners were lovely and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was perfect. Log burner was fab and made the place really cosy and homely. Everything you need is provided and close to town for places to eat etc. Will definitely be back and thanks again to the owners for their hospitality.

“Great break in great location” House is in a little Cul-de-sac with other mostly holiday homes, it backs on to woodland which is great for Dog walks. Located on the edge of the Town, it's quiet yet close to amenities. It has room for 2-3 cars in the drive. It's a great location for exploring the cairngorms and Lock Ness. We did a Day trip to John o'groats despite it being quite a drive and blowing a gale We got a pleasant surprise when in the yard one evening, the motion detected light went out and we were greeted with a spectacular night Sky, we got to see the Milky Way which is extremely rare in the UK due to light pollution in most areas. Here, despite the streetlights, the Sky was very dark - just a shame we couldn't arrange the Northern lights too.

“The Retreat on Paradise Lane” Stayed here as working in Elgin and it proved to be a great choice. The house is clean, warm and quiet. The wifi works easily and the shower is great. The bed is so comfy I slept for 9 hours each night! There is a parking space at the front of the house off the road. The beach is not far away and is great to run or walk along stretching 2 and a half miles to the west. Morag is close by and very helpful. The dishwasher, washing machine and cooker all work well although if you are looking to eat out there are options close by too.

“A very comfortable "home from home" holiday.” This farmhouse is well equipped with good quality furnishings and equipment. It is very comfortable, clean and warm. The position is quiet and convenient with amazing views. We have stayed in several houses now and this so far has been the best. We hope to stay again very soon. Only one downside was that the pillows were not particularly comfortable.

“Excellent stay” This spacious bungalow is located in the centre of Grantown on Spey. Excellent spacious accommodation. The owner is very helpful and we had a very enjoyable stay over New Year. Super location with great local restaurants and amenities. Great gateway town for the Highlands.

“Beautiful Spacious House” Beautiful comfortable home. Even though it was in an estate, it was set back from the other houses, hidden amongst trees. This gave it more privacy. The house was well equipped, with plenty of room for the four children to play. The kitchen/dining room was lovely and spacious as was the main lounge. The house was in easy reach of Aviemore by car, as we had small children with us, we did not attempt to walk, as it looked quite far by foot. Our only complaint would be a lack of toilet roll. There was only about 1/4 roll in each bathroom and no spares, so we had to run out and buy some more. We all had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.

“Perfect!” The lodge is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Location is amazing with gorgeous views over the Cairngorms and the hot tub is fab! Justine the owner was quick to answer all questions and help in any way. Highly recommended.

“MAGNIFICENT!!!” Thank you for the best holiday! We stayed for 2 weeks and everything was perfect. My daughter came to visit us from South Africa and enjoyed the sudden appearances of the "Bambi's" (deer) at the kitchen window. All the windows are nice and big and the house is full of light. We also had visits from the rabbits and squirrels and could watch them from the warmth of the lounge. We also had some snow and the lawn and trees around were covered in a white blanket. Between all the eating and sleeping we also enjoyed playing the various games available and as a family we spent our valuable time together at a perfect home which offers everything and more. “27 Corbett Place” I stayed at the apartment for one week with my two daughters. The apartment is well equipped with all the mod cons that you would expect, it is well laid out well presented and was very clean. It's only a short walk into the town and set in a quiet cul de sac with ample parking , there was good communication with the owner. The only point I can bring is that we couldn't get the DVD player to read any discs. Not really an issue as the girls were exhausted every day! Excellent place and cannot wait to visit again.

“Great place to stay and explore Scotland.” The upside down cottage is a fantastic place to stay and explore Scotland. It's within an hours drive to most beauty spots and locations. The cottage itself is very comfortable and we were very unwilling to leave. Washing machine, WiFi, shower, warm, comfy bed, beautiful views, good cooker, and microwave. Really a home from home.

“Lovely well equipped house if a bit quirky” This house is in a great location about 5 minutes away from the shops so you don’t hear traffic all day. Admittedly, there is trains but they are fun to watch especially the steam engine that passes each day. Having a separate dining room, kitchen and living room was great as it meant our large group wasn't tripping over each other. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked – every implement we could think of was there, which gave us a lot of freedom in the kitchen. In addition, there was in fact two fridges and a freezer. I must also do a shout out here for the quality of the non-stick pans as they could have an egg fried on them without oil. The living room has Skye which is nice for the evenings (and therefore there is a HDMI at the house if you want to plug a laptop in). Also, the sofas are recliners and very comfy to relaxing in in an evening. The reviews of the two double beds are that you sink in and do not want to leave (can confirm) but as people have said there is a shower and a toilet in one of the rooms. We were pleasantly surprised how unobtrusive the toilet was – although you would want the privacy of the room to yourself when going. In addition, the shower downstairs was bliss and had greater pressure than the upstairs one. The garden was beautifully kept and has a very sturdy summer house in the corner. The lawn was large enough that we could play games such as piggy-in-middle easily. As for Aviemore, it is the perfect location for all manner of outdoor activities but many are made infinitely easier by having a car with you.

“Comfortable flat in a good, central location.” This flat is in an excellent location. It's within easy walking distance of everything in central Aviemore. The Rothiemurchus Estate fish farm is also an easy walk away - £1 for a container of fish food provided lots of entertainment for our 2 and 4 year olds. There's also plenty of parking directly outside. This is a 2nd floor flat so it took a while for our 2 year old to climb the stairs but once we were there the flat was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom had both a bath and shower which suited our family. The rooms are all fairly spacious - there was space in the twin room for the children to play so everybody didn't have to be in the living room all the time. We mostly ate out but the kitchen had everything you would need to eat in. TV reception in this area is poor but there was a selection of DVDs and the owner also suggested we take some children's DVDs in case we needed to use the TV to entertain them (weather was great for our stay so not much telly watching done but they could have been very useful in a rainy week). Clear information about the flat was provided and booking was very straightforward. We would definitely consider staying here again if visiting Aviemore.

“Cosy Cottage” Had a lovely stay at this cottage, highly recommend, very warm and comfortable especially in the winter months, great coming in for a day skiing to a warm cosy cottage, plenty of living space and everything you need if staying in to cook a meal. Imagine this would be wonderful to stay in the summer as the garden was lovely, plenty of space to eat outside and even a bbq. Great stay and will book again.

“Fantastic home from home in Aviemore” Weekend visit during August bank holiday with extended family. We stayed in the house with 4 adults and 1 child (aged 12). Right from the off our rental was very straightforward, with the owner David very quick to respond to emails. The house itself was absolutely perfect and met our every need for our stay. We've stayed in a number of holiday rentals and this one is probably the best we've stayed in. Everything you need is there, including PS3 for children, DVD player, wifi and even Apple TV! Location wise, it's part of the Dalfaber estate, meaning it's only a 10 minute walk through to the centre of Aviemore. If you're visiting Aviemore for the first time, try to get someone to show you the back road to Dalfaber estate - it'll save you time. We loved our stay here and will definitely visit again. Craigie View is highly recommended.

“Everything one would wish for in a holiday home.” Every aspect thoughtfully considered, Heath Cottage is well provided with the things that make a welcoming and comfortable holiday home. It is bright, well equipped for a family visit, warm with plenty of hot water, and has all the little extras which make for a perfect stay. An ideal location for exploring the area with a great wee local shop and nice places to eat well within walking distance for all ages. The garden with visiting wildlife and the forest walks right at the gate were an added bonus.

“Great digs for a weekend of climbing.” Stayed here with 4 other mates for a weekend climbing in the Cairngorms. Ideal accommodation comfortable for all, especially me who got the master ensuite! Had cracking weather for a couple of the days so was a able to utilise the bbq facilities. Nice quiet accommodation a short and pleasant walk from train station/main street. Highly recommended and would stay again. Ideal for family, couple or small groups.

“An ideal base from which to walk The Cateran Trail” We came to the Granary for a week while we walked The Cateran Trail - we could not have stayed anywhere better! The property itself is large, spaceous and very, very clean. The facilities in the Granary are outstanding - we loved the drying room (a luxury for us walkers) and the big sliding window onto the front area. We all felt right at home from the start and it was so much more than just a place to stay once we had finished our days walk. Debbie the owner is very friendly and helpful - on hand but not at all obtrusive, leaving us to enjoy our holiday. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED

“This was an excellent, cosy cottage - the website doesn't do it justice!” We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The owner was extremely helpful and considerate. The property was much better than we expected from the website - I think the photos make it look a bit dark and dingy. Nothing could be further from the truth. It was warm, comfortable and clean with a spacious lounge. The second bedroom was also much bigger than expected with a very comfortable sofa bed/futon. The garden was amazing and we even had great weather to make use of it! My only worry about giving such a good review is that more people will book it and when we want to return we may find it fully booked!

“Fantastic house” We had a wonderful long weekend staying at Lorien in Nethy Bridge The house is beautiful and cozy It was nice and warm when we arrived We enjoyed meals around the big table and spending time together in the cozy lounge The beds were very comfortable The mountain was closed due to bad weather which was disappointing but there are lots of things to do in a area and we still had a great time Would recommend this place to everyone
