“Stunning views from a fabulous apartment” The apartment was beautifully kitted out and cleaned for our stay, with all equipment, linen etc one could want. The town itself is really pleasant with plenty of interesting sights, shops and eateries, and within good stiking distance of much more in the wider area. The views along Loch Ness were stunning as we had fine weather for most of he week, but the stairs up to the top floor apartment were the only downside.

“Very relaxing holiday” A lovely comfortable cottage and a nice welcome from the owner with homemade cake. Cottage could not be better. Very clean and comfortable with great views. Only suggestion I would make would be that a tumble dryer would be useful for winter stays.

“Holiday at Home” We stayed at abhainn Cottage for a long weekend as a birthday treat. The house was beautifully finished, and the open fire was a real bonus! It is immaculately kept, with all the mod-cons and a real luxury feeling to it. The owner was on hand to welcome us, and was always available if needed. We are from the island but the cottage was perfect for a 'get away weekend'. Its located in a very peaceful area, but is only a short drive from the main town and from several beautiful beaches, so we were able to have the best of both worlds! I will definitely make a return visit to abhainn Cottage, and be recommending it to our families and friends as a must-visit!!

“AMAZING SPACE! MAGICAL GETAWAY IN THE TREES! Even has a cat cemetary from the 1800's!” Let me start by saying what a fantastic weekend we had! myself and 13 of my friends stayed in the Argyll Barn property and from the first moment we walked through the door we knew we had stumbled on to something special! The house is even better than the pictures and descriptions, the amenities are fantastic, the pool, hot tub, games rooms ect all marvellous! and not only this but it was great value for money! Despite other properties being on the estate we found it very peaceful, the surrounding areas are breath taking! and as stipulated it even had its own piece of odd history in the form of a cat cemetery from the 1800's! I couldn't recommend this place more and we intend to go back for further holidays at this same location in the same house! The house, the site, the feel of the land, it allows you to forget the world and truly relax in such a picture perfect location. The house owner John was really helpful with anything we needed, he went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our stay went well, great communication, great attitude, He was an absolute pleasure!

“50th Birthday Surprise” Fantastic time with my family. Husbands 50th surprise. Lodge is amazing, clean, spacious and beautiful outlook. Welcome pack on arrival much appreciated. Definitely recommend and definitely will be back. Also, the use of leisure club pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna was excellent.

“Paradise” Glorious location, near the northern tip of Scotland. 10 minute walk to the sea. Beautiful scenery. Hundreds of acres of countryside and genuine fresh clean air. Quiet & secluded. Peaceful and relaxing, yet dozens of activities for the restless: indoor swimming, biking, countryside walks, wildlife, shooting, whisky tasting, historical castle, sailing (during our summer visit), and I've left out dozens of other activities. Stayed there 4 times in the winter and once in the summer. Cannot recommend it highly enough. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time every time, and in all variations of weather. We've been with friends and family: everybody thoroughly enjoyed it, from the babies in their buggies to my elderly uncle in his eighties. My deepest regret: we cannot go this summer.

“Great place to stay” I am very glad that I have booked this place for our short trip in Scotland. This caravan was very nicely decorated, clean, tidy & full of facilities. I choose a very odd time to check in but we really appreciate that the host sent us the keys through post. We will definitely book this place in future & will recommend to our friends.
