“Refreshed and recharged...” Valasay really is a home from home. The weather may not have been kind - wet, windy, cold - but anne Ryan's welcome was extremely warm, the cottage was inviting and comfortable and the scenery was breathtaking. Ever-helpful, Anne had provided a map of places to visit on my drive from the airport...and I was greeted by a blazing fire and homecade cake on my arrival. Such a thoughtful touch. I was staying alone, but the house would be perfect for a family of 4. All mod-cons (inc dishwasher and washer/dryer)...super-comfy beds, the crispest bedsheets and the whitest softest bath towels and the most efficient radiator heating in addition to the coal fire. Local artwork decorates the walls and there's a plentiful supply of books and info about the islands to keep you busy at the end of the day. Great location as a base to get out and about to see the rest of the islands too. I only had a long weekend here, but will definitely be back for a longer visit to this magical place.

“Beautifully appointed cottage surrounded by amazing views and pe” Atlantic Cottage is very well equipped and extremely spacious & comfortable. The owner is close by and extremely helpful. The setting on Bernera is wild & beautiful. Be prepared for twisty single track roads with passing places if you are heading anywhwere. Plenty of good walks & a beach to match any worldwide!

“"Get away from it all house"” Lovely quiet area with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Perfect for pet owners. Easy travelling distance to Tarbert and other places of interest like Callanish Stones. Roads are in great shape and the sheep who graze beside them are very well behaved. Would definately come back to the island.

“Haven of comfort” A very comfortable & spacious house with everything we needed for a week on Harris. It was spotlessly clean, wonderful facilities, very friendly & helpful hosts only a few minutes away. WiFi was good except for our second day when it was a bit temperamental but still far better than expected. No mobile signal but that wasn't an issue. We had very mixed weather & needed somewhere cosy to retreat to after wet & windy outings. The heating was very easy to control. Access by single track roads was a bit wearing towards the end of the week but that's the price you pay for staying somewhere so special.

“The Moorings” This has to be the best Holuday Let my family and myself have ever staying in the property is just beautiful so relaxing has everything you need, the views are magnificent. Chris and Da the owners of the property are such a lovely couple and make you feel so welcome. Would highly recommend this Holiday property to anyone just stunning.

“Beautiful holiday home” This is a gorgeous, spacious and comfortable holiday home and I can’t recommend it highly enough for a family holiday. It’s conveniently located and equipped with excellent facilities. There’s space for everyone to do their own thing and also to come together as family, so it’s ideal for families with teenagers as well as young children. We’ve just returned for a second visit after first discovering this holiday home a couple of years ago.

“Great Apartment and Location” My friend and I stayed in this apartment for a couple of nights and found it suited our needs perfectly. It was very clean, spacious and with comfy beds and the wifi worked well. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the railway station, restaurants and shops. Being on a main road we thought there might be traffic noise but that was not a problem. All in all an ideal place to stay if you want to be near everything in central Glasgow.

“A truly wonderful place to stay!!!” We absolutely loved our stay at Logie Country House!!! A huge, extremely comfortable house, where every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of. Immaculate, pleasant, warm, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is superb! We loved that there were two places to "hang out" in the house, and even when the weather wasn't wonderful, and we stayed in all day -- we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I absolutely loved my bedroom and looked forward to curling up under the down comforter with my book each night. We would love to stay again!

“Great experience” The accommodation was clean and nice. It is situatted in a very quoite area. It is a very accessible neighborhood. The owner is a very friendly and nice person. When I will come again in Stirling I will stay in the same place. The town is small and very beautiful.

“Comfortable flat in a good, central location.” This flat is in an excellent location. It's within easy walking distance of everything in central Aviemore. The Rothiemurchus Estate fish farm is also an easy walk away - £1 for a container of fish food provided lots of entertainment for our 2 and 4 year olds. There's also plenty of parking directly outside. This is a 2nd floor flat so it took a while for our 2 year old to climb the stairs but once we were there the flat was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom had both a bath and shower which suited our family. The rooms are all fairly spacious - there was space in the twin room for the children to play so everybody didn't have to be in the living room all the time. We mostly ate out but the kitchen had everything you would need to eat in. TV reception in this area is poor but there was a selection of DVDs and the owner also suggested we take some children's DVDs in case we needed to use the TV to entertain them (weather was great for our stay so not much telly watching done but they could have been very useful in a rainy week). Clear information about the flat was provided and booking was very straightforward. We would definitely consider staying here again if visiting Aviemore.

“Luxurious and relaxing holiday apartment” The apartment is perfect! All very modern but still very homely. The bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept in! We were up for the festival but spent one day just relaxing and enjoying cocktails in the garden. The owner (and her dog!) were really friendly and had thought of everything that we could need for our stay - a welcome pack with details of things to see and do around Edinburgh, bus timetables, Festival Fringe information and breakfast supplies. It took us slightly longer than expected to get into town but I think that was due to diversions in place for the festival. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely be returning myself.
