“Lovely Relaxing Holiday” After a long drive,arriving at Heatherfield was well worth the journey. The cottage was immaculate and very well presented. We stayed with grandparents and our 1 year old son and there was more than enough space for everyone. The cottage offers a games room, for those rainy days, 3 very spacious bedrooms, a lovely kitchen/dining area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a large living room with amazing views across to Portree. The cottage is perfectly situated with a short drive to all tourist attractions on the isle. Unfortunately the weather was against us for the first few days of our holiday which restricted us, particularly with the baby. although we were only a short drive from Portree, we were unable to walk along the main road as there were no footpaths. Apart from this small detail, we could not have been happier with our stay at Heatherfield, it was just like a home from home...with the most beautiful views. We will most definitely be back to Heatherfield with the family.

“Delightful large home” All was wonderful. It was all that it was touted to be and then some. The owner had even left some groceries and a wonderful basket full of goodies for us! The only negative was my Mom scalded herself in the downstairs bathtub. She added "hot" water to the tub and it came out scalding. She burned herself. So please be careful.

“Another Fantastic Week” This is the third time we have stayed at one of the cottages, having first stayed at the outstanding B&B on the same site. The cottages are wonderfully equipped and fitted out, often with beautiful oak fittings made by John (one of the owners) . It is great to arrive to find a freshly baked loaf of bread and a bottle of wine waiting. For our family of 4 it was perfect with table tennis at night (for two of us) after a day out and often a meal with fresh vegetables or salad provided from the owners vegetable patch. Great walks and mountain bike rides from the doorstep (room to keep bikes in the table tennis garage) and many more activities and attractions just a short car journey away. We could not recommend this highly enough.

“Exceeded all of our expectations - no hesitation in recommending” We were a group of 8 woman getting together for my 40th birthday. Our only request was to indulge in comfort to have a girls weekend. The photos shown of the St Kilda house do not do the property justice. It certainly exceeded all of our expectations and can cater for the needs of couples, groups and families. It is incredibly spacious and has every item required to be home from home. We ate out at the Craw Inn on the Friday evening, (reservations were made prior to our arrival) the staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent! On the Saturday we made full use of the dining facilities at St Kilda to have an indulgent buffet and a few drinks in the garden. A perfect weekend for us all, we didn't even need to take an iPod dock as there was one in the dining kitchen. Again, I can't stress enough how spacious the property is, and it is furnished to a very high standard. We have already booked up for later in the year and again for next year.

“The Finest Quality House...” Coopers Knowe is a modern house of exceptional quality, managed by professionals and owned by a lovely couple who do all they can to help you enjoy your stay - before during and after the holiday itself. We stay in the Highlands every year and I cannot find fault with this house. The fittings and fixtures are of the highest quality, the spacious and luxurious interior is wonderful and you feel like the owners really appreciate your visit. Needless to say, the property was spotless on arrival and we were shown round the house to ensure that we understood how everything worked. A small welcome gift was most appreciated as was the information provided before and during our stay. Location is spectacular with wonderful views to the loch and surrounding Corbets. This is an isolated spot though so be prepared to travel should you need entertainment or even provisions. Even though the weather was lousy during our stay, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves in this lovely house, sleeping on wonderful beds, bathing in lovely bathrooms and being able to split our large group between the lounges and teenager-friendly games room. We saw a lot of wildlife whilst in the house - an inquisitive Pine Martin came looking for us on several occasions and we had a beautiful Deer visit the garden. Thanks very much to the Middleton's for allowing us to share your amazing house. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good quality and who knows the difference between places who merely tick boxes and those who are focussed on high quality.

“We loved it” The house is huge, with lots of space. Even for 10 of us, we kept losing each other! Everything was ready for us getting there, rooms all cleaned and fresh beds. The warm open fire on the living room was amazing when it was cold outside. The pool room and table tennis definitely kept the guys busy over the weekend. Overall we had a great weekend would def recommend. Loved it. Thank you so much x

“Quiet comfortable and spacious accommodation in beautiful secluded setting near local amenities.” Mol Ban is tucked away beside a lovely beach with great views and yet is near to the amenities of Tarbert and Scalpay and within easy reach of the roads leading to the other areas of Harris and Lewis. It is a very relaxing private spot but with open aspects. We enjoyed fabulous walks and scenery within a five mile radius of the house but also ventured further afield on easy day trips to the south of Harris and up to Callanish and Carloway on Lewis. The house was warm and very comfortable and was very well maintained. It was spacious, with two separate sitting rooms, and plenty of room for keeping boots and outdoor gear out of the way. We hope to go back some time.

“A relaxing holiday.” The cottage was perfectly situated on the Peninsula overlooking the lake. Everything needed was in the cottage and it was clean and tidy. The garden was a nice added benefit and secure for the dog. Just one only point is the cottage didn't get any sun at all in the living area, so could feel quite cold, even when sun was out. The woodburning stove was a great asset for somewhat chill evenings.
