“Weekend stay for a friends wedding” After a 7 and an half hour drive from Hertfordshire, the Hayloft Cottage was a very welcoming sight. Peter and Anne (the owners) could have not been more accommodating, as we arrived a little later than expected, as we got lost, but due to a vey kind local taxi driver, who offered to follow him to Spoutwells Holiday Cottages, we were very pleased to have arrived. The Cottage was beautiful, clean and well maintained and we would definitely recommend and stay here again. Whilst at the wedding, people asked where we were staying and when we told them Spoutwells Holiday Cottages, they were all vey impressed as the whole of Stranraer, by the sounds of it, have a nothing but a good word to say about it. “Just perfect” Thank you Lorna for all the trouble you have gone to, to make this cabin a perfect place to stay. It was our favourite place out of 5 cottages we stayed at in the UK. From the generous breakfast basket that is quite rare in a self contained cottage, to the lovely greeting, beautiful decorations and touches like the fresh flowers, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, bird feeders to enjoy the birds and a lovely view especially at sunset, you could not want for anything more at this gorgeous cabin.

“Riverside cottage” This cottage is ideally situated on a quiet street within walking distance of Inverness castle and all other amenities. It has everything you require, and Gregor the owner is on hand to help if required. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

“Beautiful location” This cottage is in a stunning location with beautiful views. It was well equipped with everything we needed. It was lovely and clean on arrival and the bedding smelt so fresh! It was very handy having the small shop/filling station across the road. There was also a nice walk next to the cottage to take our dog for an evening stroll. Donalda, the cottage owner was friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Perfect house in a perfect location” We stayed comfortably at Yellow door and definitely hope we get the chance to stay again. A cute little cottage with bags of character and beautifully presented in what can only be described as the friendliest safest place on earth!! We were there for the Tattoo (which was brilliant) and this cottage had everything we needed and more to be close to the UKFM majorettes who we were supporting. If we hadn't had to chase the coach home we would have stayed the week as despite the running around - coming back to yellow door was a home from home and helped us relax instantly. Wonderful communication and welcome from Neil and Patricia and an added bonus - they provided towels which most rentals don't! Thank you so much for such a great stay x

“Fantastic property, fantastic location, fantastic locals!” We stayed in the property for 6 weeks as we were working on South Uist. The property is first class and gave us everything we needed. The location is stunning and we were made to feel extremely welcome by everyone we met on Eriskay, particularly in the AM Politician; which I cannot recommend enough also! We will back in the New Year for sure!

“Gorgeous little cottage !” Just had a perfect stay in this lovely cosy cottage . It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything needed . On the doorstep are lots of shops and restaurants and only a short drive to the coast . We shall hopefully be back next year ! “Perfect location, Well equipped for a family stay.” White Corries is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, in easy walking distance of Aviemore We had a wonderful week with plenty of trips out. The Strathspey Steam Railway, Landmark Forest adventure park, Cairngorm Mountains. And much more to keep the little ones busy. we love the area and hope to return again soon.

“Wonderful comfortable home in beautiful location” Wonderful views from the House with a lovely big garden. The House had everything u need for cooking , washing etc . Lovely room I slept in downstairs very big with super views . We had a week here and mostly dry weather we managed to have. Managed to go all round the island visiting Calanish stones , Tarbert , beautiful beaches , Black Houses etc . Beautiful island so glad I visited. Owners were very attentive thank u for our stay
