“Superb” Lovely holiday home which met needs of all our family well. Have been before and will return again. Really enhanced our holiday and owner couldn’t be more helpful. Lots to do and explore nearby and great base to visit St ANDREWS, Elie and many other attractions . Lovely coastal walks too. Kids and adults loved it.

“Peace and Quiet” The owner is very friendly and welcoming (incl gifts!). The house is spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable, All you could need in the kitchen. Great views from the conservatory and from the covered decking. Background storage heating would have been an advantage (electric panel heaters and oil filled radiators only).

“Excellent cottage!” We stayed at Roe Deer Cottage for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed for longer. The location is stunning and we had a different scenic view from every window. The cottage is so clean and we felt 'at home' straight away. Of particular note, is the attention to detail from the locally made toiletries to the lovely welcoming goodies. We would definitely recommend Roe Deer Cottage to others and look forward to returning when we are next in the Scottish Highlands.

“Brilliant!” What can I say other than what a brilliant time we all had. The cottage is beautiful and so cosy. Everything was so clean. The scenery is breathtaking! The weather was just what we had wished for. My grandchildren and all 3 dogs had just the best time. The dogs just loved the log fire. As did we all, The owner Steve gets back to you so promptly. I would definitely go back again, We had a lovely Christmas ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

“We loved this cottage!” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage and in Avoch. Suzy was purely wonderful to work with from booking through to our exit. We stayed 4 nights/5 days and loved it. It was comfortable and very well appointed. Avoch is a great place to be off the beaten path, but a good location from which to explore. We arrived on Christmas Eve, and Suzy even had some lovely Christmas decorations up and a gorgeous table set for us. The ocean view is stunning and the neighborhood is very quite. Our two children, 9/12 were just as happy as we were. We will be back!

“Just the spot...” We arrived early on the first day (which wasn’t an issue) and was delighted with the cottage and the facilities, Liz took us up to the cottage and showed us round which was great, literally everything you could possibly need is already there!!, if I was being picky I would say there’s possibly too much in the cupboards as we had more pots and pans than we had rings on the stove which Kinda limited storage space for our stuff, but honestly that wasn’t a real issue, if I said ‘Liz had thought of everything’ I wouldn’t be kidding, it was the little touches that I liked the most, fresh eggs, some milk, dog treats, first aid kit (which I needed as I cut myself falling over my dog whilst I was there, Cutting not only my hand in the process but accidentally standing on a brand new BBQ’s lid). I informed Liz of my mishap and she was very understanding thankfully! Looking around the place there were scissors, bottle openers, graters, literally EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the kitchen, we found a storage cupboard with board games in upstairs, (side note: I am still the undefeated trivial persists champ!!) The bedrooms were very comfortable and the shower in the ensuite downstairs was fabulous after a long walk with the dogs on Nairn beach, (I love a nice hot shower I do!) .. another bonus was the slow cooker and big bowls we found in the cupboard, this meant we could be out all day walking our dogs seeing the sights etc, and come back ‘home’ to a lovely hot meal... bliss!!! We had broadband internet connection, which is always nice to have, it meant I could stream my music whilst sat outside taking in the STUNNING view from the cottage, something we enjoyed doing most evenings, it’s so peaceful and relaxing there..there are cattle and sheep roaming around that we saw regularly but a real heart stopping moment for me was when I saw some deer on the last morning at about 5am, it was raining lightly, and i was admiring the view outside the front door enjoying the clean fresh air when I caught a glimpse of them.. what an amazing sight that was watching those gorgeous beasts running across the lush green field in front of the cottage, only a few hundred feet in front of me (they were bigger than I thought they would be!) and they were almost silent as they moved... I’ll never forget that moment... we had two young dogs with us for our stay which wasn’t an issue as the property is well fenced in, affording us piece-of-mind as it allow them to be outside running around and we didn’t need to worry about them escaping in an unknown area... i travelled up to Inverness for the etape Loch Ness sportive (bike ride) which turned out to be one of the best bike rides I have done, certainly the most scenic, with plenty of challenging climbs as you can imagine in Scotland, and this location was perfect for us, at the end of the lane we were staying on you could turn left and 20 mins later you can be in Inverness, or turn right and your literally 10 mins away from the A9. Would I come back again, darn right I would!!! and I will be recommending this cottage to anyone who is thinking of visiting Loch Ness/Inverness or Scotland as a whole because there is so much to see and do in the area, and if I said it was so beautiful, I simpleton would not be doing it justice.. something you need to experience for yourself, and this place would be the idea base from which to explore.

“Excellent accommodation” Whitegate Croft is in a wonderful rural location with lovely views and the nearest neighbours are the cows across the road. It has the best equipped kitchen I've ever seen in self catering accommodation. Every need is catered for. The whole cottage is extremely comfortable with plenty of space. The owners Alvina and Angus made us feel welcome and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, thank you.

“Great place to stay and explore Scotland.” The upside down cottage is a fantastic place to stay and explore Scotland. It's within an hours drive to most beauty spots and locations. The cottage itself is very comfortable and we were very unwilling to leave. Washing machine, WiFi, shower, warm, comfy bed, beautiful views, good cooker, and microwave. Really a home from home.

“Just perfect.” We are a family with two boys 4 and 7 years old, and we have spent 4 days in this beautiful city having a great accommodation. The Murano Place apartment has been a very comfortable place to stay. Beautiful, clean and full-equiped, for both adults and children (lot of games and toys :-). Many thanks to Elisabeth, and her warm welcome.

“Delightful large home” All was wonderful. It was all that it was touted to be and then some. The owner had even left some groceries and a wonderful basket full of goodies for us! The only negative was my Mom scalded herself in the downstairs bathtub. She added "hot" water to the tub and it came out scalding. She burned herself. So please be careful.

“Peaceful, scenic, cosy” This log cabin really felt like a log cabin. It's built from logs! The view over the loch is a lovely welcome in the morning from the cosy lounge. The beds are comfortable enough and the shower powerful. There's no shortage of water here! It really feels like you are dropping in on another person's holiday home and sharing in their relaxation. Even better, as there was no Wi-Fi and phone reception a short walk (if you really need it), the kids and I could detox from the always-connected world. It's a good base for walks, trips to Loch Ness and Inverness. The Tomatin distillery was a great tour locally too - kids welcome. The kitchen was well equipped and the slow cooker really useful after a long day out.

“House with a view” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hillview House. It was equipped with everything that we needed. My daughter was ill whilst we were there so we ended up spending a lot of time in the house which was fine because it was so comfortable and spacious. And with amazing views over Inverness. Will definitely visit here again and recommend to others.
