“a rural, quiet cottage with lovely views of the surrounding area.” The cottage was warm, friendly, well equiped and large enough for the three of us. The staircase is a bit dangerous as the steps are so small you can't put your whole foot on it. It gave me some trouble getting to my bedroom. We loved the chicken in the garden, build a little fire in the barbecue on the terras and overall had lots of fun. The owners are super nice, they helped with all our questions and let us use their computer when we couldn't get on the internet. A place to come back to.
Really peaceful break, the cottage was lovely just what we needed to get away from it all so peaceful, the views were amazing, the hot tub to die for, we was made very welcome by the owners, would def… More

We are so pleased that you enjoyed the cottage despite the weather. It was great to meet you all and would love to see you again when back in the country.
“a well placed retreat” Gwyn Awel was the perfect place to celebrate my husband's 40th with his friends. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, the cottage is just a 5 minute walk to the start of the Watkins path which allowed the more hardy in the group to climb to the top of Snowdon whilst those with children could still have a decent walk, enjoy the stunning waterfalls and even have a dip in the pools. Llyn Gwynant lies in the opposite direction which was perfect for walks, swimming and kayaking and convenient as the campsite is just 3 minutes drive away which accommodated the extra people in our party.
The cottage itself was spacious and clean. The traditional farmhouse kitchen with its large table and cozy log burner became the hub during the day and was one of the best equipped in terms of utensils and little extras that we have seen, whilst in the evening the living room was ideal for games, chilling and even a little dancing! The children were kept entertained with all the places to hide in the house which was great for those rainy moments! The garden was superb for BBQ's and views but smaller children may need supervision as it is terraced. The owners have been so friendly and helpful in all aspects of our visit. We would definitely go back!

“The most comfortable and well equipped holiday home I've stayed in” The title says it all. I've stayed in maybe types of accomodation in Llanberis over the years, usually either side of the school half-term in October. Sometimes with my wife, sometimes on my own. On this occassion I was on my own. I can honestly say that this has been the best and most comfortable holiday let I've stayed in. Although I'm not a cook by any means the kitchen was the most well equipped I've seen in a holiday home, I can't think of one thing that was missing. The rest of the house was just as well appointed with plenty of fresh linen and towels available. The house was very warm, cosy and welcoming after a long day out walking in the cold wind and rain!! It has excellent off-street parking on the driveway in front of the house and is located within yards of the local shops and cafe/restaurants. LLanberis, as always, is an excellent centre for exploring Snowdonia. Overall a brilliant place to stay and rest and I would say ideal for a couple - I would definitely want to return. Thanks Maria.

“Beautiful house, great location and very friendly owner. Perfect hen party!” We booked the Bell Tree House, along with the adjoining property for my hen weekend in Tenby. Although hen parties are usually not allowed, the owner was very accommodating as we are a well behaved group :)
The house really made our weekend. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful, and the large communal living room/ kitchen was fantastic for our group. There are also little living rooms dotted around the house if you need some peace! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the owners even left essential food and a couple of bottles of wine for us, which we really weren't expecting!
Location is within walking distance to the town and price was very good between a large group.
I'd highly recommend the house for a party or just for somewhere nice to stay - absolutely perfect!

“Delightful property in excellent location” The property is slightly isolated but with a very short drive into Barmouth which gives great security for letting your children explore and run free around the grounds and estuary. “Watch steam trains from the sofa!” If you want to travel on the little trains of Wales this cottage is for you. 5 min walk to Minffordd stations, steam trains can be watched at close range from the level crossing on the drive, or from the comfort of the sofa! Great for taking photographs! About half hour walk into pretty Portmeirion. Comfy and unique cottage. The dogs are rather over-friendly at first, but if you ignore them they soon realise you don't want to play.

“A Wonderful Cottage in a Wonderful Area” We visited in March 2012 and found the cottage very clean and comfortable and warm, it suited our needs exactly. The beds were very comfortable, with beautiful views from the front bedrooms. The bathroom was very large, with loads of hot water. The lounge/diner was also very comfortable, cosey and warm, the kitchen was quite adequate with everything to hand (liked the fact that it had a nice selection of cleaning materials). The small garden at the back was very pleasant and would imagine it to be a beautiful place to sit in the warmer weather. The area itself is outstanding, beautiful walks and not too far from local villages and towns. The cottage is suited to walkers, cyclists and families that want a quiet value for money break. We are hoping to return later in the year!!

“Comfortable stay in a beautiful place” The Cow Barn was spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and clean, and the setting in the village of Llansadwrnen, high above Carmarthen Bay is beautiful indeed. “Lovely House with Amazing Views, full of home comforts” We stayed at Bryn Du in October with family consisting of great grandparents in 80's, grandparent, parents and one 12 year old and 2 teenagers. There is plenty of space and the kitchen has amazing views you won't want to tear yourself away. The owners have renovated this cottage with love and you can feel it. The decor and furnishings are quality and stylish. Ground floor bedrooms are very suitable for anyone with some mobility issues. There is plenty of space around the building and the beach hut (games room) will keep everyone happy. Outside there are plenty of seating areas to sit and admire the view and eat out. (Even the spacious utility room has a great view !) It also has easy access to coastal paths.
We loved it so much we have booked to go back again. I would definitely recommend this rental without any hesitation.
“A perfect place to have a holiday.” We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house was immaculate, as soon as you stepped into the property you could see that it was well looked after.
We were personally greeted by with fresh scones, which was a lovely touch. Ann and Peter have thought of everything which allowed us to just enjoy our holiday. We would definitely recommend Ty Haf to anyone.
“Great Property in a Lovely Town” We found the property to be very comfortable for our stay with 5 adults in the house. It is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday. It is well located with a shop open until late just down the road and a lovely little pub around the corner. There is a great area for siting outside when the sun does shine.
The communication from the owner was timely and accurate, just as you need.
All in all a great house and we would happily stay there again.
