“Great location” Lovely cottage with great views. Everything we needed was provided. Close to a convenience shop and chippy. Lovely beaches a short walk away and lots of interesting places to visit a short drive away. Owner very helpful. One of the sofas could do with replacing / recovering but this may well have been done by now.

“Ideal accommodation in convenient location” The chapel was perfect for two of us and dog, in a convenient location for easy access to beach, town and country attractions. The accommodation was very comfortable and warm, important as we stayed in very cold winter weather, with very clean, attractive decor and facilities.

Holiday converted chapel in Tal-y-llyn

Tal-y-llyn converted chapel

2 bedrooms • 1 bathroom • sleeps 3

“Wonderful New Experiences” We would like to say how much we enjoyed our holiday. St Mary's Chapel was a delightful and unusual holiday let, in a glorious setting by the Tal-y-llyn lake beneath the impressive Cadair Idris. In our mid-seventies we never thought to ever have had the experience of breakfasting in a churchyard , were we could watch the swifts swirling just over our heads and watching the antics of the little robin flitting around. Peter met us when we arrived and showed us around and explained how everything worked. We found the accommodation clean and comfortable and well equipped. That the body of the chapel has been left intact, and we were particularly interested in seeing the 1000 year old font. It was great having the Pen-y-Bont Hotel/Pub just a step across the road doing good food and real ale. It was especially convenient for us as preserved steam railway enthusiasts having the Tal-y-llyn narrow gauge railway just down the road at Abergynolwyn, and other lines all within a reasonable distance. Wonderful ! Thank you Peter.

“Fantastic!” Wonderful house, there were 14 of us and the space there is huge. It has everything you need in the kitchen etc. Kids loved the pool table and playing on the mezzanine level! Would definitely come again. 10 minute walk to the sea and walking distance to restaurants etc.
