Lovingly converted five years ago, this haven is an idealic blend of old character alongside modern luxury nestled in the stunning Cwmcrawnon valley.
Enjoy the visually hypnotic quality of the waterfall by day and at night drift off to the gentle sounds of the river. If you are a fan of wildlife, the watch out for the Heron fishing in the waterfall and listen the sounds of Otters call at night.
There is a king size bed downstairswithin your own two storey separate open plan living space. There is also a small fridge, a toaster, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities. We will provide for you continental style breakfast in your accomodation, to eat at your convienience this will include cereals, fresh milk, yoghurts, fruit juice, bread for toasting, butter, jam and marmalade.
A comfortable king size bed aswell as a cosy log burner and plentiful supply of logs wood will have you looking for an excuse to light it!
A decorative spiral staircase takes you up to a dressing area aswell as a romantic roll tap bath (please note this is not a wet room ) with an over the bath water spray (No shower). Towels and bath mat are provided.
The Dressing area has a small sofa .
Please note the spiral staircase is not suitable for toddling children or for persons with restricted mobility and overlooks downstairs area.
Outside there is seating for two or more on the flagstone balcony with breath taking views of the river, waterfall and surounding areas. There is private access to the river and in November watch out for leaping salmon making their way upstream.
The property has it's own wifi connection.
LLlangynidr is a beautiful part of the world, perfectly situated for a relaxing break with lots of local attractions, from walks in beautiful scenary to all kinds of leisure and fun. Whether you want to find a quiet spot, ramble, mountain or gorge walk, cycle, or run.

Stunning!!! We booked to stay here for my husbands 30th Birthday and we were not disappointed! The apartment is lovely and the view is amazing! The owners were very friendly and helpful and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were supplied with a few bits in the fridge for breakfast and a lovely bottle of wine which was thoroughly enjoyed whilst sitting on the patio with the gorgeous view of the water! I can not fault a single thing, we loved it! 100% recommend this beautiful apartment!!! Thank you Jacqui and John!

“A Welsh Countryside Gem”
If you are looking for some peace and quiet while you enjoy the Welsh Countryside it does not get better that the Riversounds apartment in Llangynidr. Set on a river it’s breathtaking. The host Jacqui Bult out does herself to make you feel welcome. Thank you Jacqui

What a perfect little gem. Cosy retreat for two. Lovely little apartment with everything you need for a few days away. Location is wonderful perfect for wildlife watching, not lucky enough to be visited by the otter but the Heron and the Dipper obliged. Even provided with breakfast necessities, nice surprise. Beautiful countryside with copious amount of walks for all abilities. Lovely village pubs within walking distance or 5/10 minutes drive. Ate at the Red Lion, delicious no nonesense food at very reasonable prices. The owners Jaqci and John have thought of everything, and welcome you with the information you need to make your stay simple. Resident pooch Albus is adorable and keeps an eye on you wether you want him to or not, felt totally safe, he was always there on our return. Absolutely loved this golden find.

“A hidden treasure!”
A hidden treasure! Perfect for a relaxing, yet adventurous get away from the city. The apartment location offers a great balance of remoteness yet not too far from all the beauties of the Brecon Beacons. Very friendly welcoming and couldn't have asked for more!

Jacqui's place is one of the nicest places I have ever visited - it is simply beautiful, even the lovely photos do not do it justice. The location is idyllic and the accommodation is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need. Jacqui is lovely and goes out of her way to inform you of a variety of things the local area has to offer. My one disappointment is only booking 2 nights! The local area has a couple of really good restaurants within a short drive and a good pub that also does good food literally around the corner. Jacqui also has an adorable dog called Albus, who if you decide to pay a bit of attention to will quietly sit outside your door on a morning waiting to say hello. Definitely a great bonus for our trip! I hope to return soon!

We have just had the most relaxing weekend at Riversounds. A gorgeous view, beautifully-designed interior, and my favourite part, the glorious bath! The only potential sight fly in the perfect ointment was that the wifi wasn't working, but we found that a bonus, not a hiderence! I wouldn't hesitate to book again, in fact, I can't wait!

“Just what I wanted.”
Just returned from a three night break here. Apartment is lovely and the waterfall view from the balcony/veranda is stunning. The sound of the water is so calming and relaxing. I could sit/watch/listen for hours. I did see the heron - but it then saw me and flew away! Jackie and John were perfect hosts, friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit and local eateries. Comfy bed, logs for the burner if the evenings go chilly, ample food provided for breakfasts - what more could one ask for? Thoroughly recommended.

- How do damage deposits work?
In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jacqui & John (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
