“Spot on” Just wanted a quiet relaxing getaway close to Betws y coed for the two of us and our little cockapoo. We weren’t disappointed, 250 yards to betws y coed centre, bars, cafes and shops. Golf course within walking distance, train within walking distance. Cottage small and cosy ideal for what we wanted with everything on site (towels, crockery, bedding etc) clean, warm and comfortable. We would absolutely recommend.

“Wonderful Anniversary retreat” We stayed at Ty Llewelyn during Storm Brian and the weather didn’t matter one bit. The cottage was warm and cozy and set within such beautiful surroundings we were very happy with our choice! During our long weekend we visited Swallow Falls, climbed Snowden on the Llanberis Path, attempted part of Tryfan, walked Llyn Ogden and survived Velocity at Zip World. It was all beautiful whatever the weather! The cottage extras were lovely too so a big thanks to the owner for their hospitality and preparation and great communication. We hope to come back soon and with our young daughters.

“A dilemma whether to share this gem with anyone else - great holiday let, brilliant value for money, comfortable&cosy,” Instantly welcoming and comfortable, this cosy cottage provided my family a peaceful Winter holiday in a stunning location. The cottage is well-equipped, the beds are really comfy and there's a Co-Op less than 10 minutes away. The mountains are a stone's throw, the beaches a short drive away so it's really well situated for families or serious walkers. Although I'm telling everyone I know about this place I'm not sure I want to share it! Great value for money. I didn't want to leave. The stairs are steep so tiny tots or people with dodgy knees beware!

Llanberis holiday home rental

Llanberis house

“In A beautiful spot” The house is in a quiet spot just off the High Street, close enough to shops, bars etc, yet when you sit on the balcony looking out over the lake you'd think you were a world away. The house is well equipped and very comfortable, so good we want to return next year. Maria was most welcoming and helpful, let us leave our car in the drive on the last day while we went on the Snowdon train, which saved us paying parking. There's plenty do in the area even when the weather is poor, the Slate museum (free entry) and Electric Mountain are musts, as is a trip up Snowden. We fell in love with Llanberis and the amazing views and countryside around it, and of course the people who made us welcome everywhere we went.

“Great place place to stay in Tenby” What a wonderful location! great views of the North and the Harbour beaches from thewell placed balcony, which we made great use of in the glorious weather! The apartment is well appointed and comfortable, clean and well presented. The many flights of steps to carry luggage up was hard work and taller guests need to watch their heads on low beams. One of the showers did not work properly (though we were warned of this) and the TV was difficult to use. Overall though, we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment to others

“Niagra Lodge cabin” What an amazing place. The pictures do not do it justice we spent the Christmas week in the log cabin which we thoroughly loved!!! It was spacious very clean and a very cosy place to be over Christmas. The pool was very enjoyable for the children and the site also a lovely place with amazing views. Llangollen near by is a must to visit with lots of restaurants and shops, also the steam train and lovely river. Thank you for making our Christmas holiday home a magical one and we will definitely be staying at the Niagra lodge again in the near future

“So cosy, stunning location.” My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in March. It snowed while we were there and we found ourselves staranded in the cottage, however this only made our stay more special. Because of its stunning location we still managed to walk to the base of moel siabod passing a beautiful lake on the way seeing some beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Elwyn the owner saved the day by delivering some well received mulled wine which went down well after a few hours walking. The cottage is well equipped with lovely underfloor heating and wood burner to keep you toasty when it’s -6 outside. All attractions like Zip world, Snowdon Mountain Railway and all popular walks were within easy reach by car from the cottage, We will be returning this year and would recommend.

“Absolutely amazing” We have just returned from an amazing week in swy-n-don. Everything was perfect. We had beautiful weather which was a bonus because in bad weather it would still have been an amazing week. The view was like heaven, didn't need to go anywhere just sat on the decking most off the week. The bungalow was everything you could wish for in a property, the rooms spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and brilliantly laid out for eating together as a family whilst enjoying the few. The ONLY fault was that we weren't there long enough the week went way to quick. Cant wait to return.

“Andy” Excellent property for a stay in Rhosneigr. House very spacious, with all the necessary household facilities and extras such as Sky tv, wifi, etc. It also has a personal touch as it is decorated with loads of paintings and ornaments with a beach theme. It feels like a 'home from home' as soon as you walk in. Central location is ideal, being situated really close to beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended, looking forward to going back again sometime soon.

“Lovely, peaceful and cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings.” A beautiful period Welsh cottage with gorgeous gardens. Perfect for families with dogs, it is owned by the nicest and most obliging couple, Sheena and Ian, who know the area very well and suggested some beautiful walks nearby. This is our second visit here and both times have been perfect. The cottage has everything you need and is always kept so clean! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the surrounding area of Snowdonia at it's best.

Saundersfoot house

“Amazing views and amazing apartments” We booked both apartments for a group of friends and had a fantastic weekend. The main highlights of the place I'd say were the pool and the views. The pool was heated, and it was lovely to just spend time sat in the sun out on the decking. The views were beautiful (and if you're in the pool it feels like a infinity pool). It looks like Saundersfoot is a long walk but it actually only takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach. The apartments are nicely decorated. We spent most of the time in the bigger apartment. The kitchen area has sliding doors on to the balcony - plenty of room for us to relax with a glass of wine and have a chat while we cooked dinner. I would definitely recommend a stay here and I'd stay again.

“Amazing location” We stayed here to do the Velocity Zip Wire and Fforrest Coaster (both brilliant) - fantastic location - naturally weather dependent. House great for the two families - fridge was small but we coped admirably. Internet intermittent - but we were pre-warned. Drive very steep but manageable - although some of the potholes were a challenge especially at night. Would be happy to visit again.

“Great accommodation” On our arrival at 49 GHV, we were welcomed by a box of chocolates, Welsh cakes, fresh milk and an information pack which we felt was a very thoughtful and personal touch . On further investigation we found that there were also other Items such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate, which after our long journey was much appreciated. We found the accommodation to be homely, spacious, clean and very well equipped with all the essentials and more (They had even included things like beach chairs, picnic blankets, ice packs, toys, games, books and DVD's) to make our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. After our long days out exploring the beautiful Gower, it was a lovely place to return to, to relax ready for the next days adventures! We would certainly recommend this chalet as a lovely place to stay and found it to be in easy reach of all the places and attractions that we wanted to visit. It was also located next to a very well stocked shop, great chip shop and lovely pub. We had a truly fantastic holiday - Thank you.

“Our stay at Bodlondeb” Thank you for our stay at Bodlondeb in betws-y-coed. The house is in a great location with places to eat, gift shops and the beautiful river just a 2 minute walk away along with the great days out just a short drive away. We were able to fit 3 cars on the drive as stated. The house was immaculately clean with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. While there was more then enough bathroom usage for 8 adults and 1 child being 3 separate bathrooms, it was hard to use them all at the same time the temperature and power of the the showers would dip whilst 2 were in use at the same time through no fault of the owners but this would have been handy to know. The garden is beautiful to look at but just to small for a big group to sit in the same space together and again through no fault of the owners we couldn't allow the 1 child we had to play out because of the steps. The owners were wonderful and very helpful and the welcome hamper was superb. We would defenatly stay again.

“Little piece of home” Just returned from a short break at Rose Cottage and cannot wait to book again!! Spotlessly clean and everything you could ask for in a well presented, beautifully decorated property. Julian met us there and was able to recommend a fabulous dog friendly pub just a short drive along the promanade. We enjoyed lovely (somewhat bracing!!) walks along the seafront and the cottage is just a short distance from many local attractions. A little gem of a find is Rose Cottage and if you are lucky enough to book to stay there, you won’t be disappointed.

“Outstanding country escape” We searched the dictionary to come up with the best word to describe our short stay at the Lodge: IDYLLIC is the best description we can apply. The Lodge is an ideal country getaway. The hours will go by as you watch the ebb and flow of the tide in the estuary, until the twinkiling lights of Porthmadoc make you realise a few hours have passed by. The trials and tribulations of everyday life will just float away as you relax into the pace of the place. Great views, wonderful wildlife and the mini-burner makes it a lovely romantic retreat.

“Fantastic stay” Lovely cottage, found clean & tidy on arrival. Very spacious for the five of us, 3 adults, 2 children & our dog. Had everything we needed, wifi a bonus. Amazing views to wake up to every morning, enough parking space for both cars and the green area across the road through a small gate was great for taking the dog for walks, leads to a little beach too. Short walk into Barmouth with lots of places to eat and drink, shops, amusements and a fair for the kids and beautiful beaches, also a co-op to do a bit of shopping. Would recommend Harlech for a drive out. Overall a great holiday and would stay at this cottage again if we return to Barmouth anytime.

“Fantastic week away from it all” Where to begin...? the incredible ever-changing views, the inviting living area, the soft fluffy towels, the thoughtful touches from the owner (even our dog was remembered!), the comfy beds? We had a fantastic week here and looked forward to coming "home" (because it felt like home - not a holiday property) after a cold and wet day out. There are a myriad of lovely walks from the doorstep and although we explored somewhere every day, we feel like we have only scratched the surface. We very rarely go back to a holiday destination but were already talking about booking here again next year in the car on the way home. A perfect place for any time of the year.

A delightful way to get away from it all and explore the local countryside. Gigrin red kite feeding was spectacular as are the reservoirs in the Elan valley. Really well provided for, eg umbrellas chairs, kitchen stuff fridges. Comfy beds and big beds. Good sized rooms too. Great price. Great that even in busier season we could book for the weekend only. Owner's communication before the stay etc was really good and reassuring. The snug is a cute room, we didn't use it much but would have done had we been staying longer. House is well finished and felt clean. Beautiful location and really close to show grounds. Stack of wood was amazing, we loved building the log burner etc! Holiday cottage in Menai Bridge

Menai Bridge cottage

  • 4 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms
  • sleeps 7

“Perfect Respite from busy London Life” Based looking onto Menai Bridge this idyllic cottage is a perfect place to relax, unwind and re-balance when everything is catching up with you. We should know as this is our 5th visit to Milverton Cottage and yet again we felt like we appreciated every minute. Already this part of the world is quiet, the most obvious sound coming from the menai straits running just outside the bedroom windows. After going on one of the Rib Ride tours with Charles, just around the corner, we found out that the current is strong, very strong and that the water is constantly changing direction and forming mini whirlpools. You can stare at this view outside of the living room for hours and feel content and relaxed. I am not one to stay still regularly for long however so we decided to go on several walks, the best being between the two bridges or taking a trip to Newborough beach. Amazing views, you'll need good walking shoes or perhaps wellies depending on what time of year you are going and what the weather is like. As for the owners, Anne is always helpful but I really never need to contact her whilst we are there as everything is there already. Never had a problem, thanks again Anne!! Waitrose within 1/4 mile, 4 pubs, great local fish & chips, Dylans is a great local restaurant if you want to eat out. Otherwise take a trip to The Bulls Head in Beaumaris, also amazing ice-cream at The Red Boat. The cottage has great water pressure, easy to use cooker, oven and heating/hot water. Cannot wait until our next visit.
