“Exceptional” We have never stayed in a holiday letting that has been so thoughtfully equipped. We loved it. Fittings and furniture were of the highest quality, and every attempt has been made to ensure that the guests have a comfortable and relaxing stay (Right down to the reading glasses provided for forgetful visitors!). The apartment is well located - with the full length window in the living area giving a lovely view of the river. The bus stop is two minutes away, and a taxi ride back from Cardiff city at night was very reasonably priced. To be honest though, we could have spent the three days just in the apartment - we loved it so much. Will definitely return.

“Lovely!” We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was large, for the 2 of us and we had plenty of space. A lovely seating area outside added to the charm. Within easy walk of shops, bars and restaurants in Llangollen.
“Lovely dog friendly cottage” Cottage is lovely , very clean and well equipped. Enclosed garden was perfect for our little dog. Barmouth is a nice little town , the beach is huge .
Enjoyed our stay as the cottage setting is very tranquil.
Samantha J is very friendly and helpful.
“Whitems pebble cottage” What a wonderful cosy cottage. Beautiful location and fully equipped. Would definitely recommend this and will be booking again very soon. FANTASTIC birthday meal at the beachcomber in benllech. Thanks again to Claire the owner who is so helpful with any queries that you may have.added addition having beautiful fluffy towels and comfy beds.
“Tidy Tenby” Great well equipped apartment with comfortable beds, centrally located. Lovely sandy beach where the Gannets (sea birds, not patrons of the local chippy) but on a great show every evening.
Fabulous walks in the area, lots to do for the whole family.

“Small but perfectly formed” We booked last minute needing a dog friendly place near some family. The day we arrived was quite chilly and Robert had lit the wood burner to make The Cwtch immediately cozy and welcoming. Robert was friendly and helpful and everything we needed was there and to a high standard.
Lovely countryside, easy access to good places to visit, and quiet and restful when you get home at end of day.
“Exactly what we needed” We travelled to Wales as a group of 6 on a (slightly sensible) stag weekend. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of Glyn Awel and it's facilities, although we only noticed the dishwasher on the last day!
We planned to BBQ on both nights, but only managed it once thanks to the weather, although it was gloriously sunny on the Saturday.
One the last morning, we ventured down the Llyn Gwynant, which is a very short walk down the road. The early morning mist made this quite the experience, as did the water, which was very cold!
The large dining table was perfect for our group of 6, but could easily fit 10-12 people and I'm considering coming back with my family soon.
We have stayed several times at Glyn Awel - I am about to book again for next year. Perfectly positioned for coast or mountains, this cottage is comfortable and characterful. The kitchen is the hub of… More

“Beautiful cottage, epic location” My 5 friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It's stylish, very clean and boasts a well equipped Kitchen. The cooks among us were very happy.
The wood burner heated the house up quickly and kept us all toasty. This was a great base for climbing Snowdon, with incredible views from the house.
“Perfect!” Although the Coach House is small (perfect for two) it has everything that you would need and more. Perfectly located for outings all over the Beacons and for my husband's passion for paragliding. Our hosts, Valerie and Peter, couldn't have been more helpful and welcomed our arrival with a "starter pack" of eggs (from their own hens), milk, sugar, teabags, coffee, welsh cakes, small pots of home made jam and a bottle of wine - you can opt for red, white or non alcoholic. There was also a small box of chocolates on the pillow in the bedroom. The view from the patio at the back of the Coach House is beautiful - lovely to relax, read and enjoy the sunshine!
“A lovely cottage!” I travelled for the night with my husband and then 5 year old daughter so that we could visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo nearly. It was a really good location to get there and in to town. We were near enough to go to Llandudno for the day too. The place was warm and cosy and the owners friendly. We loved the bath! There was a great pub a short walk away with lovely food and views.

“A beautiful Christmas” Just what we needed... a beautiful cottage with everything you could want.
Deceptively spacious, comfy beds, powerful shower, beautiful fire, real character!
Clean, tidy, quiet, away from it all.
We stayed over Christmas and Paul even put up decorations and a little tree as we had 2 children.
Perfect for walking or cycling. A lovely Artisan cafe within walking distance but a car is needed for 'proper' shopping (although there's a very welcoming village shop nearby with scrummy bread!!)
Lake and sculpture park are stunning.
Didn't want to leave!!
Thanks again Paul, will definitely recommend!!
p.s... watch out for the kamikaze Pheasants!!!!
“Perfect Retreat” Couldn't have hoped for better really. We were looking for a total "get away from everything "weekend with our puppy Margo. This was perfect! Peace, quiet, wide open spaces in beautiful countryside. Margo also had a great time with Diana and Roberts two dogs. Thanks for a great stay, we will be definitely be coming back!
“Miniature home from home” We had a warm welcome on arrival at the property, with a mini hamper of essentials to get us going till morning. The homemade Welsh cakes were divine! The property was immaculate, well maintained and beautifully furnished throughout. The cottage was in a peaceful location, ideal for walking and exploring the area, also not far from several local towns and villages - within 10/15 minute car journey. Hay-on-Wye was a delightful town, approximately 20 mins drive. Plenty of good pubs and the private fishing was a short walk from the property. We had a wonderful family holiday, including the dog and would thoroughly recommend this to friends.

“Wonderful relaxing stay in an amazing place.” We had a wonderful stay.
The accommodation was comfortable and perfect to suit all ages.
There was an information folder with lots of recommended places to eat and visit which was extremely helpful.
The owners were fantastic and very helpful. They even contacted us to find out if we enjoyed our stay which I thought was lovely.
Only problem was we didn't have enough time to fit everything in so I suppose that means we'll have to visit again at sometime in the future.

“Fabulous Apartment in an awesome location” Super smart apartment in a fabulous location. It is small but it's immaculate and the space works really well. You don't feel like you're in a small apartment at all. It's model, clean and extremely well appointed. To top it off it's smack bang in the middle of the action and just a few minutes from the beach. It's on the top floor, which although is a bit of a climb, it means you're not affected by the street level noise. The views out of the velux windows are spectacular, I could definitely get used to waking up to them every morning. The landlord has thought of everything with a detailed, friendly welcome pack. I cannot recommend it enough. Will be booking again one day for sure.

“In A beautiful spot” The house is in a quiet spot just off the High Street, close enough to shops, bars etc, yet when you sit on the balcony looking out over the lake you'd think you were a world away. The house is well equipped and very comfortable, so good we want to return next year. Maria was most welcoming and helpful, let us leave our car in the drive on the last day while we went on the Snowdon train, which saved us paying parking. There's plenty do in the area even when the weather is poor, the Slate museum (free entry) and Electric Mountain are musts, as is a trip up Snowden. We fell in love with Llanberis and the amazing views and countryside around it, and of course the people who made us welcome everywhere we went.
“Fantastic accomodation!!!!!” Stayed in Llandudno many times and this property tops the list.... the house was clean and spacious, well equipped and the kids loved 'their floor'. (Top floor had own kitchen and tv) great location for the town centre and no problem parking either. The owner left plenty of tea/coffee and chocolate for the kids. Great to communicate with too.
