“Quaint Cornish cottage in perfect location” My husband, daughter and I recently spent 3 nights in No.5 Mill Road. What a treat it was to be so close to the centre of activity in beautiful Padstow! The cottage is small but perfectly adequate for 3 adults and had everything we needed to be very comfortable, including a well-equipped kitchen. The cottage’s location makes it so easy to experience the best of this lovely little town, including walking to the Camel Trail bike rental for an excellent and scenic day’s biking to Bodmin and back.

“A Perfect Place to Stay” This is our 3rd time at staying at Bayview, and it will not be our last. The cottage is in a very good location, close to the town centre, but very quiet both day and night. The cottage is warm and comfortable in winter, with a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, and is lovely throughout. The panoramic window in the lounge, offers stunning views of the bay, and St Michael's Mount. The balcony off the lounge, is wonderful, even in winter. If you want a beautiful place to stay in Penzance, Bayview Cottage is the place to stay. Thank you Berlinda

“Great views, a lovely beach and dog friendly.” Very comfortable lodge with great views. Ideal for a family to stay in. Lovely location to explore and the beach is close. We soon learned not to carry too much down to the beach as with such a steep path it's a tough walk back for tired children and loaded adults alike. We enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again.

“You get what you see” We already filled in a reveiw and sent it by post.But here we go again. The service we received was very good. We loved the home and the location was beautiful. The fridge was too small and we would have liked more storagespace for shoes and wardrobe. The bed was sagging in the middle. We loved the small round little cottage and its situation. The service was good and we would recommend the cottage to our friends.

“A beautiful location” The cottage location is in a beautiful valley and as sheltered as possible from the prevailing weather conditions. It has access to a wonderful garden complete with fast flowing stream and the shrubs and flowers complement the natural surroundings. The cottage itself is very pleasant to stay in - but do be prepared to use the splendid wood burning stove in winter. This is great fun and the owners provided the fuel from the trees in the garden and we didn't have to cut the logs up ourselves! The dog particularly enjoyed himself with the surrounding walks and learnt how to go up and down the cliff paths and only fell in the stream once. Stout footwear is sensible as the going can be rough on some of the cliff paths. For those with mobility difficulties the National Trust have provided a level path on the cliff top to the south west of Tintagel castle which can be accessed via the road to the church. The views are wonderful here. Tintagel and Boscastle are the nearest locations and are more than adequate for shopping and meals but do remember that Cornwall is very seasonal so a lot of surrounding attractions are only open from Easter to October.

“Perfect family cottage in the heart of St Ives” This is the second time we have stayed at 1Island Square and we will definitely return. I stayed here with my husband, two very young children and mother in law. It was a perfect family holiday in a beautiful homely cottage, just minutes from the beach. There were even toys and buckets and spades for the children to play with. It is also useful having a little room to unload shopping etc in front of the house for a short period which not many properties in St Ives have. Some may be concerned with the steep staircase going down to the kitchen but there was a stair gate fitted and this did not cause us any problems at all. In fact we spent a lot of time in the kitchen as the large dinning table is great for family meals. In addition to the lounge above the kitchen there is also a small sitting area down in the kitchen which is great if you want some private time away from the rest of the house!!! I also enjoyed having my morning coffee with the stable doors open down in the kitchen area. Will look forward to going back next year!!'

“Comfortable house in avery conenient location” Easy to set up booking through Trip Advisor also confirmation . The house is spacious , there were 6 adults and a small child in our group we all felt comfortable . The house is well equiped and is located near to several beaches local shops including aTesco Express and Newquay is only a short walk away .
