“Stunning lodge, like a home from home” This lodge definitely has the wow factor and Joanne went the extra mile to make it even more accommodating with tea/coffee/milk, toilettries, robes for the hot tub, towels etc. Absolutely blown away by the views too. I was with 6 friends at a festival and some of them barely saw any bands and chose to relax at the lodge for most of the weekend instead. It was an amazing retreat and I will definitely look at booking again both with friends and also a getaway with my children who I know will love it just as much. It was also an ideal distance from the stages... not noisy at all with the rest of the festival goers, yet still within easy walking distance. The only issue we had was that on the 2nd day, the hot tub needed refilling. The maintenance guy came to do it and asked us to keep an eye on water levels as it was expected to take about 3 hours to refill. 8 hours later it was only about a quarter full so we ended up doing runs from the kitchen tap to the tub with the mop bucket. 25 buckets full later and we were good to go but the water wasn't up to teperature again until the next day. Minor detail though on what was otherwise a perfect lodge, in the most beautiful location with an excellent host who made our stay very welcoming. 5 stars for Joanne!

“Amazing, modern house with great views” We had an amazing holiday in August with family. Marc was there to welcome us with the added touch of a bottle of champagne. The pictures do not do this house justice was the perfect place to stay with great access to local attractions. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

“A pleasant stay in spotlessly clean, comfortable accomodation.” We spent an enjoyable week, the booking service was excellent and the bungalow was spotlessly clean when we arrived. A small problem with the shower was repaired promptly by the on-site caretaker. We explored the local area mostly on foot, it is possible to go on lengthy walks without using the car. There are a variety of beaches nearby.

“Peaceful, rustic charm with luxury” Wonderfully situated cottage with views of Tintern abbey. An excellent base to explore the Wye Valley, and the added attraction of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The cottage itself has everything you would need, and is tastefully decorated. Luxurious and comfortable bedding. Comfy sofas in living room and attractive dining room. Kitchen well equipped though we did have a few problems working out the oven (having accidentally switched it off, which we had been warned not to do, so our fault). The woodburning stove a real focal point and welcomed in the wild February weather! It was a bit of a pain having to remember (in our case write down) a code to open the door instead of having a key, especially in the pouring rain, but I suppose it is easier to manage than keys. My only suggestion would be having a small porch outside that door for weather protection as it is not pleasant punching in numbers to open a door with rain pouring on you. But I am perhaps being a bit picky and overall the experience was excellent, and we would definitely book again. Must also note charming and helpful owners, Malcolm and Fiona.

“Relaxing Stay at Foxes Reach” Had a very nice welcome from Mr Wilton, who then showed us around the cottage etc. Foxes Reach is a homely, very clean and modern cottage, with a very pretty garden. Great location, which is just a couple of miles away from abbey Mill, Tintern etc. Hot Tub in the garden, was used regularly!

“Beautiful home from home plus” As an older couple we found the location to be what we hoped for - a quiet oasis while recognising that during school hols it would be a lively environment with plenty of things for families to do. We car toured the coastline and found it all very attractive. The "plus" in the title was the ability to have a log burner fire in the evening - not needed for heat as there is a very efficient heating system - but visually enjoyable. A blast from the past for us. Hosts MIchelle and Andy appeared on the first day and then melted into the background, but we knew they were there if we needed them. The eating out potential was unimaginative for us but no doubt it met the needs of the wider community. We used the excellent pool daily and read one of the library books from the "shed" - the onsite resource centre with many CDs, games and books for a wet day or two, though our September weather was excellent.We have no doubts that we will sometime make a return trip. Thank you Michelle and Andy for your vision and taste in making available such lovely 5 star accommodation.

“Fantastic location in the countryside.. Perfect Stay for New Years Eve in this beautiful cottage... Will visit again” It was a beautiful cottage, on the edge of the Beacon Beacons. Angela and Shaun were really friendly and helpful.. 5 mins away from Llandeilo, beautiful shops and lovely pubs perfect for the views. Loved using the hot tub and over looking the views. “Mr + Mrs” We had the most amazing weekend with family + friends staying at The Hawthorns .', 10 adults . If you want very comfortable spacious accommodation with luxury , then this is the ideal accommodation to book . As you walk through the door you immediately notice how clean , light + beautifully furnished it is . Everybody commented on how comfortable the beds were with quality linen + towels , the upstairs bedroom , bathroom + lounge ( with views ) was fantastic ! Fabulous patio with table for 10 , sun loungers accessed from the kitchen / dinner / lounge via bifolding doors + a gorgeous hot tub to relax in . Saundersfoot is a little town with fantastic restaurants "Coast " - overlooking the sea with great seafood + " The Mulberry " - best Sunday lunch ever . Hopefully we will enjoy another stay there in the not too distant future

“Fetching lodge with a plethora of charm” It was the perfect place for a group of 9 to have a relaxing time whilst making sure to stay up late and socialise in the pool and hot tub into the wee hours of the morning. The house is well stocked and we cooked some amazing meals and made sure to make use of the BBQ too. We definitely recommend it. The lady was lovely and are thinking of coming again maybe next year.

“Beautiful, romantic retreat” My partner and I booked a relaxing weekend away in Beudy Bach cottage staying 2 nights, Saturday to Monday. The owners were very accommodating and offered an early check of 1pm on the Saturday which was very much appreciated.  On arrival we were greeted with freshly baked homemade bread, a bottle of wine and a very warm welcome. We were made to feel totally at home throughout our stay.   The private cottage is beautiful, very cosy and well equipped. It is situated in a very rural spot with stunning views yet only a 5 minute drive from the A55 making exploring the north wales coast very easy and convenient.  The Spa facilities including hot tub and sauna are very well maintained. The area is lit meaning the hot tub can be used throughout the evening – a lovely treat with a nice glass of bubbly!   We would highly recommend this cottage for both relaxing weekend breaks and longer stays to explore the surrounding area.  A massive thank you to Lliwen and Paul. Â

“Unashamed Luxury” We have just spent a long weekend at Llanllliana, with friends and family, celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. There are not enough superlatives to describe this beautiful house and its grounds. You want views? It's got them. You want warmth? It's warm. You want beautifully decorated rooms? It has them. You want a 'state of the art' kitchen? It has it - including 3, yes 3 fridges. And 2 dishwasher! Wait for it, and a 3rd in the bar in the dining room! The entire house is a statement of excellent taste and don't even get me started on the bathrooms. To sum up, HEAVEN.

“Our week at Yr Onnen” We felt a frisson of excitement as we drove towards the cottage, as the almost magical scenery made us think of Hobbit country...beautiful leafy dells, with birds of prey circling around. We certainly felt we were leaving civilisation behind. We were impressed by the warm welcome when we arrived and we were delighted with the cosy cottage atmosphere. We really needed a quite break away with our small son and the cottage and location were ideal. The cottage was well equipped, but really surpassed our expectations as it had a games room stocked with family Dvds, toys, table tennis table etc., and an outdoor playgroud area complete with trampoline and swings. Our 5 yr old was entranced by the red kites screeching overhead and the bats at early evening. We would certainly stay again at this cottage. Our only slight disappointment was the double bed (as we are used to a king size bed at home!) which felt a little small and the mattress was not comfortable. However, this did not stop us from completely relaxing at the property which felt very homely. I would rate this cottage very highly.
