“Fantastic Property & Location” This property was ideally located for trips to many of our favourite beauty spots around the Gower. The accommodation was absolutely fantastic, finished to an exceptionally high standard but still extremely comfortable. There were 8 of us in our party (2 families) but there was plenty of space and we never felt we were on top of each other. The owners had provided pretty much everything you could ask for with regard to practical items like kitchen equipment etc and plenty more besides - a lot of thought had clearly been put into what would make their guests' stay special. Most definitely recommend this property to young and old alike and we have already booked a return visit.

“Stunning lodge, like a home from home” This lodge definitely has the wow factor and Joanne went the extra mile to make it even more accommodating with tea/coffee/milk, toilettries, robes for the hot tub, towels etc. Absolutely blown away by the views too. I was with 6 friends at a festival and some of them barely saw any bands and chose to relax at the lodge for most of the weekend instead. It was an amazing retreat and I will definitely look at booking again both with friends and also a getaway with my children who I know will love it just as much. It was also an ideal distance from the stages... not noisy at all with the rest of the festival goers, yet still within easy walking distance. The only issue we had was that on the 2nd day, the hot tub needed refilling. The maintenance guy came to do it and asked us to keep an eye on water levels as it was expected to take about 3 hours to refill. 8 hours later it was only about a quarter full so we ended up doing runs from the kitchen tap to the tub with the mop bucket. 25 buckets full later and we were good to go but the water wasn't up to teperature again until the next day. Minor detail though on what was otherwise a perfect lodge, in the most beautiful location with an excellent host who made our stay very welcoming. 5 stars for Joanne!

“Fantastic accomodation!!!!!” Stayed in Llandudno many times and this property tops the list.... the house was clean and spacious, well equipped and the kids loved 'their floor'. (Top floor had own kitchen and tv) great location for the town centre and no problem parking either. The owner left plenty of tea/coffee and chocolate for the kids. Great to communicate with too. I really can't fault it!!!!! 5☆☆☆☆☆ all the way. Now comes with wi-fi too.... lovely house... the Babb/Jordi's

“Great House and Location” Had a great long weekend with family for my mums 70th.The house layout and views across the bay were perfect. The house has everything you need,and couldn't fault a thing and above all lovely and clean. My 5 year old son loved the walks on the beach and even got my mum out in her wellies.A small level walk along the promp or road to the Sea Shanty cafe where we had a lovely meal. Would love to retun later in the year or summer.Thanks for a great weekend would highly recommend.

“Where the mountains meet the sea !!” One of the loveliest places we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. A lovely cosy retreat but close to everything. Llandudno and anglesey not far away with castles to die for, seaside coves, sandy beaches and super walks on your doorstep. A trip to the railway station with the longest name is a must even if its just for photograph or a souvenir. We have stayed several times now and its always a treat. If we could live there we would.

“Hidden Gem!” We were looking for somewhere to completely “get away from it all” and we certainly found it in this magical place Funchal. It is a hidden gem tucked away at the end of a lane in the heart of the Gower. The accommodation is compact, clean and comfortable, there is a log burner for those chilly nights even beach towels and a lovely Welcome Box with welsh cakes on arrival. It had everything that we needed There is plenty of outside space for children to play safely and there is a balcony at the rear of the property which we used most days to eat out on and enjoy the view, whilst to the front a veranda with even more seating, we found this very useful when coming back from our walks. Liz and Chris were very helpful throughout the booking process and we found the cottage easily. Being able to park the car directly outside the gate was a real bonus when offloading the bags, in fact this is where it stayed for most of the time we were at Funchal as the waking is excellent and the coastline and beaches are superb. You can easily reach what has got to be one the most beautiful views of a beach by walking along from the cottage and out past the castle to Three Cliffs Bay. We would definitely return here as there is so much to do and see and if the weather is good it really is a welsh paradise.

“A cosy, comfortable, relaxing all round enjoyable holiday.” Everything was ready for our arrival with no problems gaining acess to the cottage. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and stocked with all equipment you needed including coal and firewood for the fire which was made up for our arrival. The bedding and towels were freashly laundered and clean. As I have been going to that area of North Wales for a long time I know about the stunning views and surrounding beauty spots. The local shops are easy to get to with larger supermarkets within half an hours drive. The whole time of our stay was very relaxed and it was great to sit in front of the fire at night and feel cosy as our stay was in the autumn and the nights are cold.I can honestly say that there was nothing about our stay that we didn't enjoy.
