“Fantastic Holiday Home” Y Garth was the perfect holiday home for all ages, everything to provide a home from home holiday experience. Sea and Barmouth both within a short walking distance and scenic walks from the house. Fire Pitt and BBQ in the evenings whilst watching the amazing sunsets. The teenagers enjoyed nearby pony trekking and caving experiences, whilst the youngest, and Lola the dog had great fun on the beach. I would recommend this house unreservedly, everything provided for a wonderful, relaxing holiday with wall to wall sunshine being an added bonus.

“Fantastic Views” I have just spent 4 nights at Trefonen House With my family to celebrate my birthday. We had an amazing time. The house was beautiful with gorgeous sea views. The younger members (and some of the older ones) thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the BBQ Hut. Kayaks were rented one day and they were delivered to the house which was ideal as access to the beach could be gained from the garden. Lots of lovely eating places around, in particular The Black Seal in Trearddur Bay. Would definitely stay at Trefonen House in the future

“Stunning lodge, like a home from home” This lodge definitely has the wow factor and Joanne went the extra mile to make it even more accommodating with tea/coffee/milk, toilettries, robes for the hot tub, towels etc. Absolutely blown away by the views too. I was with 6 friends at a festival and some of them barely saw any bands and chose to relax at the lodge for most of the weekend instead. It was an amazing retreat and I will definitely look at booking again both with friends and also a getaway with my children who I know will love it just as much. It was also an ideal distance from the stages... not noisy at all with the rest of the festival goers, yet still within easy walking distance. The only issue we had was that on the 2nd day, the hot tub needed refilling. The maintenance guy came to do it and asked us to keep an eye on water levels as it was expected to take about 3 hours to refill. 8 hours later it was only about a quarter full so we ended up doing runs from the kitchen tap to the tub with the mop bucket. 25 buckets full later and we were good to go but the water wasn't up to teperature again until the next day. Minor detail though on what was otherwise a perfect lodge, in the most beautiful location with an excellent host who made our stay very welcoming. 5 stars for Joanne!

“Fun and excitement for the children, relaxation for mum and dad.” We stayed as our family of 4. 2 boys aged 3 and 6, for 1 week. The acomodation was immaculate, we felt most welcome on the farm - the children loved the garden which meant that us parents could sit and relax and had lots of peace. Plenty do do within a few miles, lucky with the weather. Fantasic time had by all. The most relaxed we have been on holiday since having the children! Excellent Serice and advice from Best of Wales whilst booking. Highly recommended.

“Exactly as described and plenty of parking space” The home was perfect for two couples and close to all beaches, pubs, entertainments and shopping facilties. I enjoyed the garden, fresh air and good weather.The welcome Bara Brith was a nice touch. The microwave was a little low but it does give more surface space. I would certainly visit the property again.

“Lovely” What a charming cottage, restored for a very comfortable stay, quiet location, near to beautiful walks and beach. Having a wood burner on cold nights is great. Very clean and bright rooms, decoration excellent, would be cosy for four adults great for a family with children with TV`s and an added surprise radio with ipod dock which was brilliant. Well done to you both for making it a lovely short break. Added extras a good idea and appreciated. Good luck for the future.

“2 Birthdays, 1 Fantastic Holiday in a perfect setting....” Too much to tell about our absolutely fantastic stay at Squirrels Rest. Jane the Host of the House, superb, friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, the accommodation was everything and more, the facilities were just great, if you needed it, it was there. Kids happy, YES, our 2 Twelve year old boys were seldom seen or heard apart from the fussball table! As for the Adults, beds, comfortable, plenty of space to chill out, so at no time did we feel on top of each other. Pembrokeshire, if you have never been, is an absolutely beautiful place to visit with loads to do and see, and Squirrels Rest is the ideal place to do it all from. Thank you Jane.

“Relaxing few days in the hills” A fantastic few days away with the family (children 3 & 5) in the perfect cottage just over a miles walk to Builth. All on one level with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, ideal with the children. A well stocked games/toy cupboard and a selection of DVDs for when the weather wasn't at its best (storm Doris). A warm welcome awaited us with a lovely surprise of fresh eggs, Welsh cakes and traditional lemonade. The log burner made the evenings cosy and there was a great fully equipped kitchen. The hot tub was brilliant even in the unsettled weather! Ducks and chickens wandering freely and a play area for the children made this the ideal place for a relaxing break. So good we even booked an extra night.... I am sure we will return when hopefully the weather will be a little kinder!

“Wye cottage” Had a last minute weekend stay here in this beautiful cottage. Added bonus was the hot tub relaxing watching the night sky. Lovely views to wake up to, nice little welcome pack left by the owners. Will definately be going back with my grandson in yhe summertime, fabulois relaxing weekend just what was needed .

“Wonderful Place, views and the hot tub was the icing on the cake!” We arrived at Little Twmp Barn to the most amazing weather (always helps), the cottage was decorated to a very high standard and was even better than in the photographs, brilliant views were almost out of every window. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of seating outside. The hot tub was a big hit. Lots to do locally. A real gem, we hope to return.
