“Just brilliant!” We have stayed in Rhoscolyn for many years but this was our first visit to Borth Esgob. The owners have done a wonderful job refurbishing the cottage and the attention to detail (loads of tea spoons, every utensil you can think of, games, DVDs, flowers/wine!!) was brilliant. Plus the quality of fittings they have put in - like the super duper dishwasher, washer/dryer and extra large oven - made our stay that bit more comfortable and made our lives (we have 4 young children) much easier after a hard day at the beach! The access to Rhoscolyn beach is a stones through from the front door, we love being able to pop back and forth depending on the tide/weather. We have already booked to go back again - the owners and caretaker were great to talk/email to and were very helpful.

“Sun, sea and Sheep Rock.” Fantastic friends and & family reunion weekend over Easter 2015. Great house that easily accommodated 4 families and kids. Recently renovated in "Scandinavian Chic" -bright airy rooms, stylish decor and very comfortable. A fabulous view of the beach means you can supervise from a distance if so desired. Fenced off back garden and patio area means toddlers and babies safe whilst enjoying a morning coffee admiring the view from the patio at the back of the house. The beach takes dogs and you can build a fire as well weather permitting; we managed a beach BBQ breakfast and dinner in 1 weekend. If all else fails theres a pub 50 yards from the front door! Highly recommended.

“Lovely, peaceful and cosy cottage with beautiful surroundings.” A beautiful period Welsh cottage with gorgeous gardens. Perfect for families with dogs, it is owned by the nicest and most obliging couple, Sheena and Ian, who know the area very well and suggested some beautiful walks nearby. This is our second visit here and both times have been perfect. The cottage has everything you need and is always kept so clean! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the surrounding area of Snowdonia at it's best.

“Beautiful Bank Holiday Break” We had such an amazing weekend here. The barn is so lovely & the children absolutely loved the outside space. Even my difficult to please 12 year old loved it! We definitely have plans to come back. Couldn't have wished for better. Thank you

“Andy” Excellent property for a stay in Rhosneigr. House very spacious, with all the necessary household facilities and extras such as Sky tv, wifi, etc. It also has a personal touch as it is decorated with loads of paintings and ornaments with a beach theme. It feels like a 'home from home' as soon as you walk in. Central location is ideal, being situated really close to beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended, looking forward to going back again sometime soon.

“lovely quiet break” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Loveston Cottage Barn. Spacious accommodation and peaceful break. Great Hosts in Issac and Melena, especially Melena who made us a curry which was very good. Car definitely essential as will need this to get to local pub (Lawrenny Arms) and various amenities. Would suit a group or family wanting a relaxing break and can easily relax. Kilgetty is great for cheap petrol. Free range chickens who will turn up unexpectedly, likewise Yoko the dog who loves to play catch. Shame to go back to reality.

“Very comfortable house with amazing views in a good location.” The house is well furnished, very clean and comfortable. Perfect for getting out and about in the countryside either on foot, by bike or in the car. There is also great access to the sea for those with a boat. Also great for just relaxing and enjoying the fantastic view from the very comfortable sofas. There are good shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance, and plenty of parking and outside space.

“Fantastically designed, contemporary interior in a stunning old house by the beach.” Located 4 metres from the sea and from a great little pub, the house has a great atmosphere, is newly decorated and furnished and is the perfect getaway. Only 4 hours from London, it provided the perfect place for a group of friends to getaway to for a week.

“The best mountain bike trip ever!” Accomodation - clean, informal, friendly lay-out, all mod-cons, TV, WfFi. Price - competetive, discount for large groups, great value. Food - excellent, tasty, filling, lunches were included. Hosts - Jay, what a guy, knows his stuff, trust him completely. Nikki, always there with a big smile, great cook, all round nice person. Richard, tail gunner, dependable, good laugh. Riding - Hard as hell but more fun that a barrel full of monkeys. In summary - enjoyed it so much I'm going back for more in a few months.

“Wonderful New Experiences” We would like to say how much we enjoyed our holiday. St Mary's Chapel was a delightful and unusual holiday let, in a glorious setting by the Tal-y-llyn lake beneath the impressive Cadair Idris. In our mid-seventies we never thought to ever have had the experience of breakfasting in a churchyard , were we could watch the swifts swirling just over our heads and watching the antics of the little robin flitting around. Peter met us when we arrived and showed us around and explained how everything worked. We found the accommodation clean and comfortable and well equipped. That the body of the chapel has been left intact, and we were particularly interested in seeing the 1000 year old font. It was great having the Pen-y-Bont Hotel/Pub just a step across the road doing good food and real ale. It was especially convenient for us as preserved steam railway enthusiasts having the Tal-y-llyn narrow gauge railway just down the road at Abergynolwyn, and other lines all within a reasonable distance. Wonderful ! Thank you Peter.

“Girls Welsh Adventure” Stunning location, perfect for our needs. Good base for sightseeing the local area. House in need of some decorative modernisation and some general TLC but on the whole a clean and comfortable place to stay. Excellently located within easy reach of most popular activities. Some lovely local beauty spots and walks and locals all very friendly. Black Rock Sands beach is a definite must visit and the train to Conwy and Betws y coed a lovely day out. Would go back and stay again very happily.
