“Absolutely stunning!” We went here as a large group of friends to celebrate someone's birthday.there was plenty of space for everyone (there was 30 of us) and the cooking facilities were more than adequate.the gym and sauna was brilliant and the scenery around the barns was beautiful.The village is only a 20minute walk away and there are lots of activities to do (we really enjoyed clay pigeon shooting!) it's the perfect place to have a party,lots of space for people and room for a dance floor etc.The trip could not have gone any better and we are already planning our next visit in the summer"

“Fantastic,luxury barn such a warm welcome form Elinor and Paul the owners,very highly recommended.” We stay in self catering accommodation regularly and this is by far the best and really lives up to its 5 star rating. The owners have thought about absolutely everything when equipping the barn,its so warm and welcoming. If you have dogs like us, this is doggy heaven, not only are they as welcome as their owners the area where the barn is situated is perfect for woodland walks,just minutes from the entrance . There is sky tv and wifi for those who need it, everywhere is spotless but so homely, in fact we never want to leave (neither do the dogs !). Elinor will supply on request freshly laid eggs, homemade cakes and bread, all delicious . It is also in an ideal spot for reaching both countryside and beaches if you can tear yourself away. We will soon be booking our third trip.

“Inside and out, and round about, the loveliest place imaginable to stay” I struggled to find anything negative to say about Porth-y-Parc, and gave it up as a bad job! The Old Barn is wonderfully decorated, furnished and equipped;such attention paid to every little detail, so spacious, well-lit and comfortable. Whatever you might have planned in the way of walking, riding or trips out, nearby or further afield, you find yourself wishing for at least one day of driving rain to keep you within doors with no option but to luxuriate in the place! But when you do step out, the country round about is beautiful, whether you're rambling through the woods and fields close by, or atop the Sugar Loaf, no more than an hour's walk away, with spectacular views in all directions. Abergavenny is near enough to drive into - or walk down the long hill to - but not so near as to intrude upon the rural character of the place. As if all this were not enough, the owners, who live in the house a mere step away, are friendly and hospitable, and have obviously worked very hard indeed, with skill, taste and energy, to provide a holiday experience of the very highest quality for their guests. We shall be going again and again.

“The best mountain bike trip ever!” Accomodation - clean, informal, friendly lay-out, all mod-cons, TV, WfFi. Price - competetive, discount for large groups, great value. Food - excellent, tasty, filling, lunches were included. Hosts - Jay, what a guy, knows his stuff, trust him completely. Nikki, always there with a big smile, great cook, all round nice person. Richard, tail gunner, dependable, good laugh. Riding - Hard as hell but more fun that a barrel full of monkeys. In summary - enjoyed it so much I'm going back for more in a few months.

“A comfortable, stylish and tasteful place in which to relax.” We were made very welcome right from the start by Janette and Steve. We were shown round the property and given a full explanation of the workings of the equipment. There was a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates provided which we enjoyed once we had settled in. The property is very new, very clean and very well equipped. They seemed to have thought of everything.The bed was very comfortable. The upstairs lounge and balcony make the best of the lovely views. It is in the country but not far from the coast. It is just a pity there isn`t a local pub.

“Fabulous!” We stayed here with a group of 10 of us for the weekend. We selected this location as there were good reviews and it was possible to accommodate all of us by using two cottages. There was fishing on-site and was ideally locate close by to activities, such as paintballing. The owner was very helpful and even arranged for a taxi for us (as we were unable to pronounce the cottage name!). The accommodation was as promised and was clean and tidy - as you'd expect/hope. I would recommend the cottages to groups or families. We definitely plan on returning.

“Lovely Cosy Cottage” A beautiful cottage with everything you could need. The wood burner would be lovely in the winter. Ideal for a quiet get away. Small golf course down the road. Do a main shop before arrival as there is only a small shop in Letterston village. Karen was very thoughtful and provided milk, tea and some lovely carnations. Highly recommend to anyone .
