“Beautiful house, unsurpassable location” Drom Aluinn is in a really quiet little cul de sac, but is only metres from the main centre of Newcastle for shops, cafes, etc., and of course the strand. For anyone going to an event in the Slieve Donard hotel, I'd guess the house is closer to the hotel than some of the hotel's own car parking spaces! There's a little side pedestrian entrance to the hotel from just near to the house. The house itself has been tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a holiday stay. The view from the kitchen sink of the mountains is just beautiful. Lovely private enclosed garden, which would be lovely in the summer. All in all, can't recommend highly enough Its also really good value in my opinion.

“Stay here if u want Peace & Tranquility ...” Love Plumtree Cottage so much that we just had to stay again. Totally peaceful setting , with Cranfield beach & Greencastle ferry literally 5 mins away. Plumtree cottage is spotless , safe , relaxing with everything thing you need . Highly recommend especially with children as there is a very large garden to play in . Can’t wait to go back again !!

“Immaculate, comfortable, modern!” My partner and I spent a weekend here with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The luxurious apartment was immaculately presented throughout, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. We were within walking distance of all local amenities. A real added bonus was that the apartment had free wifi. Tony was a real gent, helpful & flexible, and presented with a welcome food/wine hamper on arrival - both Tony and the apartment both totally exceeded expectations!

“A perfect home away from home” We stayed five days at Orchard Cottage. September 23 through September 27. It is a lovely, quaint cottage that has everything you need to self-cater your holiday. Malcom was an amazing host who went above and beyond the call of duty when he offered to cook in his oven, a roast and fixings that I had prepared such that we could serve another couple who was to join us for dinner one evening. We will definitely return on our next visit to the area. We loved also that it is close to Bangor, Newtownards, Donaghadee and Belfast. A great holiday rental for sure.

“Excellent Accommodation” A one week stay with my wife, son and father-in-law. We book a house or Apt every year in Newcastle mid week July. This has been the best Accommodation yet within the last 10 years of booking. From the Welcome Pack, WiFi, Netflix, Amazon to include two TV's, this place was ideal for what we required. The location is fabulous too and the views from the front room of the Mourne Mountains are breathtaking. The large kitchen that opens out to the garden decking is a winner and that's not including the BBQ decking area which is extra special. My son loved the grass area at the back as we played badminton, and mini-golf. The Bungalow is superbly maintained and a credit to both Roy and Jan whom we met on arrival. As mentioned the Welcome Pack was very much appreciated especially the M&S Pinot Grigio and Fresh Wheaten. Will definitely book again if available as this place is King. Thanks for a great stay.

“Brilliant spot for a break away” Great wee cottage in a perfect location. We had a super weekend break for my 50th birthday, and Paula was so kind decorating the place with balloons and leaving wine and nibbles for us. Really recommend this wee place, can't wait to go back.

“Beautiful, well equipped cottage” Elaine was so helpful and happily provided us with both a cot and highchair for our young child. The cottage was extremely clean and was a lovely place to stay for a couple of days away. Would highly recommend.

“Excellent Accommodations” We have found our home away from home in Northern Ireland! Dolly's cottage is in the most beautiful setting, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a beautiful backyard, and a very well designed kitchen. It was also great to have two large full bathrooms in the home. Maura was a very gracious host, so kind and willing to help with whatever we needed. Can't wait to be back in Warrenpoint! Thank you Maura!

“Fantastic Location” Spent 4 nights at Seaview House with the family. I don’t think enough could be said about the location. Absolutely stunning scenery with the Mountains of Mourne stretching out beyond the bay. We spent countless hours rock pooling on the beach which is literally 10 yards away, and sat out in the garden each evening where the skies are as clear as crystal. Very peaceful. The house is very comfortable, is well stocked and has loads of room for a big family. Siobhan was very good at contacting us about arrival details and to answer a query we had. We are definitely hoping to come back again to stay. Once again - that location. Wow!

“Mr” I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a break. We had a fantastic time staying here, the place was beautiful everything you need was there. My wife and I took our dog with us and went for walks so peaceful. The only problem was WE DIDNT STAY LONG ENOUGH. We will definitely be booking again and longer next time. The owners made sure we felt very welcomed and had bought us bread butter milk and orange juice etc which we didn't expect but was much appreciated thank you for that. Thank you again from Robert and Joanne Clint

“Fantastic Holiday Cottage” We had a relaxing family holiday in a pristine, top class holiday cottage. We could easily have stayed another week and certainly hope to return one day. The owners were helpful, friendly and thought of every little detail. The lavender shortbread was delicious.

“Lovely, comfortable cottage set in beautiful countryside” Stayed in Pike Cottage for one week with my parents and sister and brother in law. The ground floor bedroom and en suite with walk in shower were perfect for my 83 year old not so mobile parents. All the bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage, televisions and comfortable beds. The kitchen area has everything you need for cooking everyday meals including the all- important dishwasher. The sitting area has comfortable sofas and chairs and the log burner and lamps give it a cosy feel. The location is good for Belfast (Titanic Experience ~45mins) the Strangford Lough area and the Mountains of Morne. The drive to Giant's Causeway takes about an hour and a half on the inland route, don't miss the coastal route though. Other places we enjoyed visiting are Mount Stewart, The Argory and the Linen Centre in Lisburn. We did most of our food shopping in Ballynahinch in the Nisa supermarket at Carlisle's petrol station. There is a good deli counter, and a separate wine store. John and Roberta are great hosts, the log burner was lit when we arrived, very welcome on a chilly drizzley afternoon and there was a pretty basket of local breads and home made jam and chocolate waiting for us. John gave us lots of good tips for our days out and some local places to visit such as the Harry Ferguson Memorial Garden which we might otherwise have missed. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.

“well equipped, clean and comfortable accomodation well located for Belfast, the coast and Strangford Loch” Great welcome from Ruan and Frances with high quality local produce to kick off our holiday. The accommodation is great - spotless, well equipped and comfortable for a family stay - and there is a strong internet connection which pleased us all. Wonderful that it was possible to bring our dog too! Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay.
