Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Excellent Accommodations” We have found our home away from home in Northern Ireland! Dolly's cottage is in the most beautiful setting, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a beautiful backyard, and a very well designed kitchen. It was also great to have two large full bathrooms in the home. Maura was a very gracious host, so kind and willing to help with whatever we needed. Can't wait to be back in Warrenpoint! Thank you Maura!
“Fantastic Location” Spent 4 nights at Seaview House with the family. I don’t think enough could be said about the location. Absolutely stunning scenery with the Mountains of Mourne stretching out beyond the bay. We spent countless hours rock pooling on the beach which is literally 10 yards away, and sat out in the garden each evening where the skies are as clear as crystal. Very peaceful.
The house is very comfortable, is well stocked and has loads of room for a big family. Siobhan was very good at contacting us about arrival details and to answer a query we had.
We are definitely hoping to come back again to stay.
Once again - that location. Wow!
“The house exceeded our expectations” The house was very comfortable and equipped with everything required for an enjoyable stay. The location was idyllic and the views magnificent. We all of us would
have no hesitation in recommending it.
“perfect house, perfect location and wonderful host” We had a last moment booking with Alex at Mourne House as we decided to extend our holiday in Co. Down. This house is breathtaking - the location views are amazing! Plenty of room for us as we were 2 adults and 3 small children visiting from California. All the amenities we needed were available to us and Alex was quite attentive with responding to our needs. The location is perfect as we wanted to be close to family and friends in the area and our children just love Newcastle. This house is well suited for a family and is great for entertaining as needed. The kitchen is beautiful, every upgrade, every appliance desired! We honestly did not want to leave and we look forward to coming back again hopefully very soon. Thank you
“Brilliant spot for a break away” Great wee cottage in a perfect location. We had a super weekend break for my 50th birthday, and Paula was so kind decorating the place with balloons and leaving wine and nibbles for us. Really recommend this wee place, can't wait to go back.
“The owners live near by but did not intrude on our privacy, they” I would like to recommend the cottage to people who have transport. The cottage is not within walking distance of any amenities. The near by villages are lovely and have superior eating establishments. The local produce that is easily available to purchase is a real bonus. The kitchen is well fitted out with all cooking utensils available to use. We especially liked the log burner. There is a good supply of logs and fire wood. Bedrooms are very clean and comfy. The house is a fair size and has two sitting rooms, one large bathroom and a smaller shower room. These are lovely and clean also.
It is on a working farm, so is not ideal for families with children as there is no gardened off area. There is no out door space to enjoy the beautiful Irish country side. The only space available is at the front of the house. This is concrete and the cottage is on a small, pretty but busy road.
