“Comfortable, clean and well equipped” Had a lovely stay here with 5 friends. Extremely well equipped homely lodge with gas BBQ, lots of chairs outside on the decking, wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Owner was friendly and efficient when emailing details. Whole leisure park has free wi-fi. Only thing is the 3rd bedroom is extremely small compared to the other 2. Overall I highly recommend.

“Tan cottage - exceptional” As far as we could see, Emma has thought of every single need you could have on holiday in a cottage. It was very cosy and comfortable, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped, so that I could have put on a dinner party! Added to that the views from the windows were superb, and the welcome pack was delicious and generous.

“Great little break !” Lodge is prefect for a little family break away from it all. Spotlessly clean, with everything you need and good WiFi. The location is perfect for walks in Lake District and close by. Julie and Jim are very welcoming and happy to give advise on the area, would definitely recommend and hope to return !

“Great place” We stayed here for 4 nights and everyone, including the dog really enjoyed it. The accommodation has everything you could need and is lovely and clean. We really enjoyed exploring the local area during the day then spending quality family time playing board games etc. in the evenings. Everything was really well organised and the owner answers all emails really quickly. Would definitely recommend.

“Delightful Cottage in Great Location” My wife and I stayed in this cottage for several nights in October. We loved it. It is nicely decorated, was fresh and clean, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the location is very convenient to everything in the Lake District. It is in a very quiet, peaceful location. The big, deep jacuzzi was great. We would definitely recommend it for a romantic getaway.

“"Perfect" ��” What a delightful place to stay. You are surrounded by a wonderful standered of luxury in the most tranquil and peaceful location you could wish for. We are a little fussy I admit and have checked out of many hotels etc.... We must return to this lodge as we truly feel like we have had a break. Plenty of local pubs within 5-20mins. Great beer & food. The Lake District all within 20-30 mins drive and the nest if luxury and peace when you return. Please do not think too hard or you may miss the location of a lifetime. We LOVED this place and will return hopefully many times. You will NOT be disappointed. Thankyou

“lovely spacious house with fantastic views” how end is a lovely, well furnished extremely well equipped house with lots of space . it is in a perfect location for exploring this area of the lake district and the views from the first floor sitting room are fantastic. my only criticism would be that it is not tat far from a busy road and so road noise would be very intrusive if sitting out in the summer. luckily, or unluckily, in our week in may half term, it was not warm enough to sit out for a cuppa and there is no road noise audible form inside.

“Smashing!” Not much to say other than this holiday being just what the doctor ordered. Caravan was as good and better than expected, although slightly smaller space levels in the bedrooms than ive previously experienced (albeit still very manoeverable with plenty of storage spaces as well as tv and facilities in the double) the living area and kitchen however benefited from this perhaps because they were huge and very comfortable. Besides that the only issue we had was that the kettle leaked a little. Other than this, would wholly recommend this lodging, neighbours aren't too close, very secluded, quiet, extremely well kitted out and with a lovely walk through a mini forest through to the private marina I couldn't think of anything more we needed other than maybe another week! Thank you to Paul and Kim for operating a grand little gem. 5/5

“Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location” My husband and I stayed here with our 2 boys for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The lodge is gorgeous and very private. It is well equipped with everything that you could need. There is so much to do on the doorstep that we will definitely be back to explore more.

“Family celebration” Todhills Farm was a fantastic venue for a family celebration get-together. As long term "self- caterers" we appreciated all the top quality facilities and equipment. The bedroom layout meant the adults didn't have to worry about disturbing the wee ones once they were in bed. The contents of a very generous hamper were much appreciated and enjoyed. The weekend weather was very kind and allowed us to enjoy the wonderful views and local walks. I hope we can gather our scattered family for another stay in the not too distant future.
