“Comfortable ,well situated bungalow.” A small bungalow but with everything you would need. It was very warm with excellent central heating and a powerful fire. Very near the centre of Keswick and there was a fishshop and a grocer 2 minutes walk away. The BT wi-fi worked very well.Would stay there again.

“Perfect weekend in the lakes” My girlfriend and I have been intending on visiting the lakes for some time as we are keen walkers and love the outdoors and as it was my partners birthday we decided that a weekend at the lakes would be the best way to celebrate it. The weather was perfect with not a cloud in the sky and the knee high snow on the ascent up striding edge to helvellyn made it even more fun however, this property was a perfect accompaniment for a perfect weekend. With beautiful views of Lake Windermere and some snow topped peaks in the background, we couldn't believe how lucky we were. The private jetty is incredible, walking out onto lake windermere, the views and the tranquillity really was breathtaking. The property itself was very cosy, clean and well kept and waking up to the views was incredible. It was a lovely place to return to after a long and tiring walk however, for those looking to sit back and relax this place is beautiful and peaceful. The owners were very helpful and always a call away if we needed anything and left some very nice touches for us upon arrival such as biscuits, tea and coffee and some birthday banners for the birthday girl. There was also plenty of information provided for ideas of places to visit and eat. Everything you could need for a trip to the lakes is also only a short drive away (or walk if you prefer). Windermere and Bowness are both about a 5 minute drive and both Kendal and Glenridding (for Helvellyn and Ullswater) are about half an hour. We intend on returning to the Lake District in the near future and would not hesitate on returning to this lovely lakeside property. I haven't added any pictures of the view from the property as they just don't do it justice and you really need to experience it for yourself!
