Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Little gem in the heart of Grasmere , Lake District” We booked the cottage for group of 10 people( 2 nights )for our holiday. But due to rail strike , we decided to stay an extra day but unfortunately the cottage was fully booked for extending our stay there . While we decided to get help from the cottage owner /manager , Chris has been really helpful .
He managed to get us a hotel room nearby for entire group at discounted price . We had kids so they loved the place . The cottage itself was a gem in the heart of Grasmere. Very clean and tidy large rooms. Large living space , garden with view to hills . Kids can run around and play. Close to local attractions.
From the first day , the communication has been great with Chris . He really helped us out with ease . Can’t thank him enough.
Reception staff were also warm and welcoming.
We had a wonderful time . We will definitely be coming back . I would recommend to anyone if looking to have quality peaceful relaxing time to go there and enjoy.
“Perfect!” I spent the weekend here with a group of 20 work friends. We spent the evenings having BBQs in the outdoor seating area enjoying the amazing views, and the days walking down to the beach and the local pub. The house is stunning - the pictures simply don't do it justice. It took us a while to find all of the rooms! The house is equipped with everying you need (including jacuzzis and a pool table), and the large living room and kitchen meant it was perfect for socialising in the evenings. I would recommend this to anyone looking to organise a get away with a large group of friends or colleagues.
“Well equipped and comfortable accommodation with tasteful decor” We greatly enjoyed our stay but because of the location of the property and the fact that the master bedroom with en suite is situated at the top of the house it is more suited to able and active visitors but the view of Morecambe Bay from the top room is ample compensation. The house is uphill from the town (it took us 10 minutes to walk down and a couple of minutes more to walk up) and one of our group only attempted it once and had to stop for breath four times on the upward journey, downward being no problem. There is good, reasonably priced parking in the town should you prefer to drive. It is one of the best holiday homes we have rented and would have no hesitation recommending it.
