“Splash Cottage is everything you could wish for in a holiday let!” The place is delightful with oceans of room - like a Tardis ! We now regret that we couldn't book it for longer. We were exhausted from our day trips out so just being able to chill out when we got back "home" in comfort and with the views was excellent. We hope to visit Northern Ireland much more in the future and would love to stay here again so will check availability of Splash Cottage well in advance. Paul made us so welcome.

“Excellent Accommodation” A one week stay with my wife, son and father-in-law. We book a house or Apt every year in Newcastle mid week July. This has been the best Accommodation yet within the last 10 years of booking. From the Welcome Pack, WiFi, Netflix, Amazon to include two TV's, this place was ideal for what we required. The location is fabulous too and the views from the front room of the Mourne Mountains are breathtaking. The large kitchen that opens out to the garden decking is a winner and that's not including the BBQ decking area which is extra special. My son loved the grass area at the back as we played badminton,and mini-golf. The Bungalow is superbly maintained and a credit to both Roy and Jan whom we met on arrival. As mentioned the Welcome Pack was very much appreciated especially the M&S Pinot Grigio and Fresh Wheaten. Will definitely book again if available as this place is King. Thanks for a great stay.

“Excellent Accommodations” We have found our home away from home in Northern Ireland! Dolly's cottage is in the most beautiful setting, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There is a beautiful backyard, and a very well designed kitchen. It was also great to have two large full bathrooms in the home. Maura was a very gracious host, so kind and willing to help with whatever we needed. Can't wait to be back in Warrenpoint! Thank you Maura!

“Mr” I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away for a break. We had a fantastic time staying here, the place was beautiful everything you need was there. My wife and I took our dog with us and went for walks so peaceful. The only problem was WE DIDNT STAY LONG ENOUGH. We will definitely be booking again and longer next time. The owners made sure we felt very welcomed and had bought us bread butter milk and orange juice etc which we didn't expect but was much appreciated thank you for that. “Christmas by sea” A lovely Christmas vacation with family in Newcastle Co. Down. The apartment was spacious and well situated. We were very comfortable and delighted that a Christmas tree and decorations had been provided. We enjoyed a delicious lazy brunch in the nearby Maude's cafe the day after our arrival and were lucky enough to wake up to a beautiful sunny view of the beach on Christmas morning. The only drawback for us was the lack of a dishwasher. On a practical level the apartment was clean and well supplied with crockery and cutlery. It's notable that there are small additional charges for towels, electricty and heating if you go over what is expected.

“Apartment of a very high standard with everything you could possibly need” Ground floor apartment, tastefully decorated with light coloured furnishings and very comfortable chairs and beds. Every room was clean and the bathroom was very spacious and modern with walk-in shower. Kitchen was very well-equipped. Lounge had a full length window opening out onto a small patio complete with table and two chairs. Everything in the apartment was in excellent condition. Anne gave us a lovely warm welcome - there was milk in the fridge and scones, butter and jam waiting for us. The location is excellent, - quiet and looking out to the promenade yet within walking distance of the town centre. We were staying for the weekend in Newcastle to attend a family wedding - our only regret was not being able to stay for longer.

“A place to unwind” This is a clean,well fitted and comfortable apartment with views of the Mournes and Dundrum bay. Murlough bay, Tollymore Forest and Silent Valley Reservoir are a must and within a short drive. Dundrum has a castle and local walks all worth a try. Back in the apartment when the tide is out, go out to the balcony and spend a while watching the variety of birds feeding on the sandbanks. A truely tranquil place.

“Refreshing and Reviving ! ! !” This property is amazing, the setting and the views will refresh your soul as well as your mind. We had almost 3 weeks to enjoy the experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay. Everything you could ever need in a Holiday rental is provided by the Hosts including fresh eggs every day and a very generous Welcome Basket. “Perfect get away!” We booked this property for a family trip to Newcastle Co Down. We were not disappointed. The cottage is ideally located, a short walk from the pubs/places to eat and the beach front. We have visited Newcastle three times now and find the hospitality and friendliness of the people amazing. Anne who owns the property is no exception, she is a lovely lady who made us feel welcome straight away. The cottage itself is lovely, it sleeps four people in two double rooms and has everything you need, it has been well looked after and the decor is lovely, it is spotless and so cosy, the views are also amazing, I would definitely recommend this perfect get away.

“perfect house, perfect location and wonderful host” We had a last moment booking with Alex at Mourne House as we decided to extend our holiday in Co. Down. This house is breathtaking - the location views are amazing! Plenty of room for us as we were 2 adults and 3 small children visiting from California. All the amenities we needed were available to us and Alex was quite attentive with responding to our needs. The location is perfect as we wanted to be close to family and friends in the area and our children just love Newcastle. This house is well suited for a family and is great for entertaining as needed. The kitchen is beautiful, every upgrade, every appliance desired! We honestly did not want to leave and we look forward to coming back again hopefully very soon. Thank you

“A perfect home away from home” We stayed five days at Orchard Cottage. September 23 through September 27. It is a lovely, quaint cottage that has everything you need to self-cater your holiday. Malcom was an amazing host who went above and beyond the call of duty when he offered to cook in his oven, a roast and fixings that I had prepared such that we could serve another couple who was to join us for dinner one evening. We will definitely return on our next visit to the area. We loved also that it is close to Bangor, Newtownards, Donaghadee and Belfast. A great holiday rental for sure.

“Lovely home in a Fantastic location” We stayed at the Burren over Easter with children and extended family. The house really felt like a home. It was very well equipped and was very clean. It was a super base to sight-see around the Mournes and Co. Down. We hope to return next year and have already recommended it to friends.

“Wonderful house and location!” The house is situated in beautiful countryside with magnificent views. It is a clever extension of an old gatehouse retaining nice features and an attractive interior and exterior. The house was the best equipped of any we have stayed at with large comfortable beds and great storage in all rooms. It was spotlessly clean and the owner was helpful but not intrusive. The garden space provided pleasant opportunities for outside meals and watching the beautiful Red Kites gliding gracefully across the sky. There was lots to do during our visit and the Montalto Estate near Ballynahinch was a favourite.
