“Fantastic!” We all had such a fantastic time staying with Mr and Mrs Jones in their beautiful house. The extreme snow meant that we had to rely on them to help us get to and from the house and they were so willing to help at every turn, we couldn't have asked for better service! The house and hot tub were superb and we can't wait to come again in better conditions to see more of the beautiful countryside.

“Home from Home” Stayed with my wife and 2 grandsons in august 2011. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious and well appointed with all of the washing bathing and cooking facilities described making for an easy time with two under 10s. Also to the delight of the boys there was a good sized garden with a beautful view of the Hills and mountains of Snowdonia. Mrs Lloyd paid us a visit in th week to see if we needed anything. We didnt but her interest was re-assuring. The neighbours were very friendly. Overall the house was a home from home. My wife and I know the area pretty well and could nt have picked a better location for access to all of the North wales attractions. We went into the heart of Snowdonia via the Llanberis Pass, visited Llandudno, had a day at Portmerrion and Cricceth as well as trips to Carnarvon and Conwy Castles (which the boys loved). Closer amenities included the shops pubs and cafes in Llanrwst as well as a swimming poold walks by the River acroos the Inigo Jones Bridge all just 5 to 10 minutes on foot. Betws Y Coed is only 10 minutes by car and we found some lovely places for pub meals (particularly one at Llangernyw) within a 20 minute drive.

“A pleasant stay in spotlessly clean, comfortable accomodation.” We spent an enjoyable week, the booking service was excellent and the bungalow was spotlessly clean when we arrived. A small problem with the shower was repaired promptly by the on-site caretaker. We explored the local area mostly on foot, it is possible to go on lengthy walks without using the car. There are a variety of beaches nearby.

“Peaceful, rustic charm with luxury” Wonderfully situated cottage with views of Tintern abbey. An excellent base to explore the Wye Valley, and the added attraction of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The cottage itself has everything you would need, and is tastefully decorated. Luxurious and comfortable bedding. Comfy sofas in living room and attractive dining room. Kitchen well equipped though we did have a few problems working out the oven (having accidentally switched it off, which we had been warned not to do, so our fault). The woodburning stove a real focal point and welcomed in the wild February weather! It was a bit of a pain having to remember (in our case write down) a code to open the door instead of having a key, especially in the pouring rain, but I suppose it is easier to manage than keys. My only suggestion would be having a small porch outside that door for weather protection as it is not pleasant punching in numbers to open a door with rain pouring on you. But I am perhaps being a bit picky and overall the experience was excellent, and we would definitely book again. Must also note charming and helpful owners, Malcolm and Fiona.

“Relaxing Stay at Foxes Reach” Had a very nice welcome from Mr Wilton, who then showed us around the cottage etc. Foxes Reach is a homely, very clean and modern cottage, with a very pretty garden. Great location, which is just a couple of miles away from abbey Mill, Tintern etc. Hot Tub in the garden, was used regularly!

“Beautiful luxury traditional cottage” Tyn y Coed is absolutely stunning. There were five of us staying for a birthday celebration and it ticked all our boxes and more. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to make your stay 'just like home'. There was a lovely little hamper on arrival (welsh cakes, bread, cheese and wine mmmmm) and there were plenty of condiments in the cupboards. Outside was the hot tub......a real luxury treat! We sat for hours drinking champagne (in the plastic flutes provided) watching the sun go down. It was heaven, even in a bit of drizzle! After the hot tub you can settle in front of the toasty wood burner in the living room......sooo cozy! The cottage is set in such a peaceful setting with only the sheep for neighbours. We watched squirrels playing in the trees, mice rustling in the hedges, an owl hooting in the tree and a blackbird calling for his 'friend'. I honestly can't praise this place enough!! Lisa, the owner, was also extremely helpful before the booking and I felt comfortable in contacting her if we'd had a problem (which we didn't). Top marks all round for Tyn y Coed and we all can't wait to book again in October for our next little visit.
