“Peaceful setting” This was our second visit to Derrydoon, we had another fantastic time at Mary & Nigel’s bungalow. We felt just at home, with the house spotless & lovely and warm for our arrival. We had the wonderful advantage of some glorious weather which made the setting even more fantastic and peaceful. If you haven’t yet booked - this place is a must, a little further out but when you come from Belfast that’s no bad thing to just switch off! Thanks again Mary & Nigel for such a homely home.

“Lovely” Mum and I and our 2 dogs stayed for New Year’s Eve weekend. We had a lovely time, it’s quiet and remote while still being close to Enniskillen and other villages. WiFi and phone signal was strong. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We hope to return again! Thank you! Lynette.

“Just the place to chill out and enjoy life” We went as a family to this place as we had wedding to attend. It was very clean, with beautiful decor and it had a lovely view over the lake. It was very easy to relax and unwind in the lovely surroundings and to slow down the pace of life a bit. Everything is within walking distance and there are lovely walks to go on, long or short depending on your mood.

“Excellent place for our holidaytrips” The location is wundeful. Did many trips all over Northern- and Ierland. The house is amazing evenso the owners. The beds could be better and a shower would be nice, that we`re than the only things. We`ll did already tell our friends and children about this place. We`ll visit again!!!

“Excellent house, everything catered for!” We booked this house for a winter getaway with a few friends and family. It was massive and the adults and kids loved it. 15 minutes from Enniskillen and 30 mins from Omagh means that everything you will need is close, however there are villages 5 minutes away that should have most of your supplies. Nick and his wife had everything we could possibly need and were always close at hand should we have any issues or queries. Excellent property in great grounds. We will definitely be back, preferably in summer so we can take advantage of the fishing ponds.

“Outstanding isn’t enough” Got to the cottage late on Friday night. The cottage was warm and cosy for arrival! we soon realised we got coffee but no milk looked in the fridge and there was a fresh pint of semi skimmed, delightful! Also 4 farm eggs some cereal and the lovely fresh bread! Well stocked kitchen. Fire set and ready to be lit by the Amazing hosts! Fully recommended stay, excellent accommodation!

“Truly lovely place to stay” Booking experience was amazing. Susan was so friendly when I enquired about booking and went the extra mile suggesting things to try in the resort and surrounding area. I cannot do this house justice - it is beautiful, yet manages to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. There is everything you could wish for in the house, set in idyllic surroundings. The people on the resort were friendly - our children enjoyed the golf academy, and I enjoyed the Spa at the hotel. There is so much to do in the surrounding area - National Trust properties, Cruises on the lakes, water sports, beautiful walks and really good food too!

“Excellent cottage, immaculately presented, friendly and warm welcome” Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated and presented. It had bags of character and unique traditional features but with every modern convience. We were warmly greeted by the owners and treated more like friends than customers. I would definitely recommend hidden gem cottages to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque country retreat.
