“Stunning Holiday Home in the Luxurious 5* Lough Erne Resort” We chose Lough Erne resort for a family weekend away from London with our children (3 year old girl and 15 month boy) and our au pair as it offered everything that we were looking for in one place. We ended up having the most amazing weekend away to date as a family. 5 Fisherman’s Cottages is absolutely stunning and luxurious. The photos on the internet are exactly what you walk into and the house just takes your breath away. In fact, you won't want to leave this house! No expense has been spared but at the same time it is 100% child friendly. The house is in a fantastic location and there is so much to do in the resort (and nearby) as a family. We enjoyed some beautiful walks, went for some spa treatments, and had fun in the play areas; the kids especially enjoyed milking cows and a trip to Enniskillen Castle. My husband and I enjoyed a couple of romantic evenings out while the kids were at home with our au pair enjoying all of the amazing kid stuff, DVDs, books, toys etc. It is hard to say which are the best bits, but the cosy log fire, the amazing lake views, the luxurious Master bedroom, the sumptuous interiors, the fab kitchen, the child friendly activities and the pure relaxation all feature in our Top 10 list. This house and the resort are simply fantastic and a must go destination for a relaxing family getaway.

“Peaceful setting” This was our second visit to Derrydoon, we had another fantastic time at Mary & Nigel’s bungalow. We felt just at home, with the house spotless & lovely and warm for our arrival. We had the wonderful advantage of some glorious weather which made the setting even more fantastic and peaceful. If you haven’t yet booked - this place is a must, a little further out but when you come from Belfast that’s no bad thing to just switch off! Thanks again Mary & Nigel for such a homely home.

“Just the place to chill out and enjoy life” We went as a family to this place as we had wedding to attend. It was very clean, with beautiful decor and it had a lovely view over the lake. It was very easy to relax and unwind in the lovely surroundings and to slow down the pace of life a bit. Everything is within walking distance and there are lovely walks to go on, long or short depending on your mood.

“Excellent house, everything catered for!” We booked this house for a winter getaway with a few friends and family. It was massive and the adults and kids loved it. 15 minutes from Enniskillen and 30 mins from Omagh means that everything you will need is close, however there are villages 5 minutes away that should have most of your supplies. Nick and his wife had everything we could possibly need and were always close at hand should we have any issues or queries. Excellent property in great grounds. We will definitely be back, preferably in summer so we can take advantage of the fishing ponds.
