“Wnderfully peaceful” A wonderful place to stay, everything we needed was provided. A good central location to explore the beautiful Dartmoor and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend.

“Excellent accomodation and location” Lovely 5 bedroomed accomodation with large kitchen excellent cooking facilities and nice large eating area. Excellent location in small village but minutes walk away from lovely clifftop walks, National Trust Land and large sandy beach and town of Woolacombe, great for kids with plenty of coves and rockpools to explore. Property easy to book - great information provided on local amenities and maps/information on area in house itself brill. Within very close proximity are three pubs, restaurant, fish & chip shop and village stores. Both the Chichester Arms & Ship Aground serve excellent food but the meal we all had at the Ship was one of the best we have ever had, also excellent fish & chips from chippy and local produce from village stories including great cornish pasties - my son said best ever. The coastal walks are second to none and a must for any walker and the accomodation/location represents a great holiday and I would recommend a visit even out of season. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the stay as well particulary the walks which are plentiful and varied, loads of different routes and circular walks, nice other beaches nearby including Croyde and huge beach at Saunton.

“A fantastic location in a fabulous comfortable cottage, made to feel really welcome by both Claire [--] John.” whilst weather was a little dissapointing, plenty to do with lovely walks & the fabulous beach just 5 mins walk through private field, plenty of reading material available including things to do & places to visit nearby, was very cosy watchiing a movie with the log burner going & really nice to sit in the peaceful garden & let the world pass you by. Felt really at home & very safe, also nice to have peace of mind that both Claire & John are there if you need them. A lovely cottage maintained to a high standard.

“Great location!” This was our second stay at Red Rose Cottage, we love the location, just two minutes from the town centre and a couple of minutes more from the sea. An easy walk to the Manor Pavilion Theatre, the cinema, The Loft, who do a great full English breakfast and an amazing Indian restaurant. The cottage is warm, very comfortable and well equipped, we had a great holiday! Thank you.

“A lovely place to stay” The Bolthole was the perfect base for us in Brixham. A beautiful room- light and spacious- gave us everything we needed. The host, Theresa was very friendly helpful with local information and accommodating to our needs. Although situated above the harbour, the walk back up was easier than I had expected and took around 10 minutes at an easy pace. We had a lovely holiday and very comfortable accommodation.

“Perfection in Croyde” If you are looking for a property to stay in whilst in Croyde this is the place. I had no idea what to expect with this property as the photos of the property look nice but they do not do this place justice! The bedrooms are excellently sized and the en-suite are lovely. Showers were powerful and warm. The only slight suggestion for improvement would be to mount the shower, that’s over the bath, to the wall and put up some tiles and a glass screen. The kitchen area is phenomenal and is the real heart of this holiday home. The living room has a lovely log burning fire which wood was provided for and gave a real cosy feel in the evening. The garden was a real sun trap most of the day and was an excellent size. There was also a BBQ that could be used. The house is right in the centre of Croyde with restaurants and local shops about 30 seconds walk away. The beach is about a 10 minutes walk away but is a lovely 10 minute walk. The house comes with WIFI and very surprisingly a full Sky TV package as well. This house can actually be rented with another for larger groups as well with a door that connects the two properties internally. I can’t recommend this place more highly. Absolutely gorgeous in every way and real made the holiday.

“Superb” A great week should have done two. Very very nice place and very comfy, lost the wife a couple of times in the settee. Great location, we did loads of walks mainly from the Barn and a trip to Dartmouth for lunch at the The Angel (Excellent). There are loads of CD’s, a good wine cellar and local eggs from the owners next door. You only need to bring food and a dressing gown. Now looking for availability next year.

“Fabulous holiday apartment” Seascape is a well situated apartment, right by the sea, with excellent views across the bay and skyline. Close to amenities and good walking in the area. The apartment itself is modern, comfortable, clean and well appointed. Our last minute booking was accommodated with the help of the owner with no hassle. In all just fabulous for a break.
