“Amazing place, lovely owners!!” An amazing weekend, cottage is gorgeous!! Hot tub was special little extra. We will definitely be back and would recommend to everybody. The owner Tony is very friendly polite and helpful!!
“Excellent property” Spent a week here with my friends and family, we loved every day. The hot tub and swimming pool were especially good, but just the houses themselves were lovely to spend time in, with activities and towns nearby.
“Lovely apartment - well worth a visit - its like a home from home” We stayed over the bank holiday weekend, 4 adults. Apartment very clean, lots of information about the area and the facilities in the apartment. It was a home from home, with a very well equipped kitchen, fast broadband, good TV etc etc. The welcome pack was a lovely nice unexpected touch - eggs, milk, biscuits, fruit etc. and it was nice of the owner to pop by on Friday evening to make sure all was okay. The stairs up to the apartment are a bit uneven and and steep, not a problem for us but for older folk it would be a challenge. Parking is a bit difficult and if you have to go in a car park it cost over £10 a day - more than the £1.80 we were told, but it looks like this has only gone up in price recently.
The sofas in the lounge were not very comfortable, especially the wicker one, but chuck a duvet and pillows on it and its okay.
Very efficient with sending information and we asked a few questions about parking, restaurants and pubs and Jo came back very quickly with lots of info. Overall an excellent experience and we would go back.
“The perfect get away” The Loft was perfect for our weekend away for 3 adults - even better than the photos! Comfortable, clean and modern, the outside terrace was a great bonus, we spent a lot of time out there and even enjoyed a BQQ one night. The toys provided were used by our little visitors, they were very impressed!
We didn't meet the hosts during our stay but the welcome pack and card from Debs was a really lovely touch. Your house is beautiful thank you for a lovely stay - we will be recommending to the rest of our family for when visiting my sister in Lympstone! Terri, Robert and Mark xx
“Clean, spacious and convenient for town centre” I stayed with work colleagues during the Exeter Festival of Food and Drink and we were very impressed with the property. Kathy was welcoming and very accommodating. The town centre was a 20-30 minute walk away or there is a bus stop just around the corner. Taxis from the centre cost around £5-£7 depending on where you were returning from. I would definitely recommend this property for groups of friends or for families.
“Excellently located and well presented apartment” This modern and beautifully presented apartment is in an excellent location in central Exeter and has all of the facilities required in self catering accommodation. Thank you - we will definitely stay again!

Excellent Xmas and New Year Venue
Beautiful peaceful setting well located for walks, Dartmoor etc. Local pub a bit of a struggle uphill all the way. Good to have owners next door just in case. Superb accommodation. 5 good ensuites. Fabulous layout on GF with lovely snug bar and all you need in a good professional kitchen. We have been going away as a group of 10 for 12 years and this is up with the best. …
Perfect getaway cottage. Everything you need for a great stay.
Beautiful village in a great part of the world. Great spot for exploring Dartmoor and surrounds. Friendly people in the village and good little shop nearby. The cottage owner is very helpful and kept in touch throughout my 3 week stay. Would happily stay again. …
Thatched Cottage Nr Topsham
Charming base for visiting East Devon.
We found Little Thatch available for a short 2 night stay before Easter so booked there and then! (A chance to spend some much needed Mother & Daughter time away together) This cottage reminded both of us of our old cottage where I raised my girl so we both felt at home. So many personal things here that we felt like we were staying in a friend’s home rather than a bland holiday rental.
Kitchen perfectly equipped but you’ll need to take everything with you like kitchen roll - just a few tea bags S&P and instant coffee available. However with so many great places to eat nearby we didn’t need to cook. Highly recommend The Maltsters Arms just a few doors along.
Little Thatch isn’t for those with limited mobility or large or tall people. The stair case is struggle to negotiate and to take a large bag upstairs. I felt like a drunken elderly lady each time I went to bed. Quite funny really especially when balancing a glass of water too!
Very quiet at night. Lovely warm cottage with the benefit of gas central heating and a gas fire in the lounge. Good WiFi.
Woodbury is a lovely village and very close to the Exe estuary, Exeter and visiting The East Devon towns and villages. Topsham always a favourite. Do go to A La Ronde near Exmouth. A real treat of a National Trust Property.
Only downside was we found parking difficult as all on street parking was full when we arrived back after a day out and ended up parking up past the village hall, but it wasn’t a problem just something to be aware of.
We’d defintely return as three days wasn’t enough to see everything. Such a lovely area to go to.
Thank you to Jane who communicated every aspect of the booking from initial enquiry to after we left. We didn’t meet her but had clear and consise texts from the start. ❤️ …
City Centre Penthouse - Parking, Wifi, sleeps 6
Lovely apartment. Clean, very well equipped. Centrally located. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Good communication with owners …
Stunning super central Exeter 1 bedroom apt, right by cathedral & Princess Hay
Lovely little flat
The central location is perfect for all sightseeing. The one tiny drawback to that is that you will hear drunken revellers returning home after nights out. Perhaps more annoying than that though is you are right next to Nationwide, and whenever someone uses the ATM you hear the beeps of them putting in their pin code. It is really loud when you are trying to sleep! The flat itself is lovely though, really well equipped, great furnishings and really easy to book. Definitely recommend, but bring ear plugs! …
Found our go-to escape cottage
Literally can’t fault anything... Quiet, relaxing and welcoming. The owners were very polite and helpful and the cottage had everything required for a relaxing weekend.
The hot tub was great and we have decided it is the perfect location to get away from the hustle of the city.
Everything is minutes away from the cottage so when you can peel yourself away, you’ll find several fine dining places nearby and a local supermarket for the essentials you’ll forget or run out of.
Recommend highly! …
