“very enjoyable break away, beautiful & stylish apartment, would love to return” We travelled to Devon with my two grown up children for a break away together to catch up & enjoy the seaside. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Topsham. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and it seemed everything had been thought of.
There was an extensive library of the latest DVD's, board games, and books supplied. The welcome pack was also a nice surprise.
Despite the loss of power on our last afternoon/evening in the apartment we would definately highly recomend this apartment to our friends and would ourselves enjoy a return visit in the fututre.
Thank you Jo and Andrew
The staff in the cafe were great, the room was spacious, well equppied and extremely clean. My only comment would be that the room was cold -- it felt as though there had been no one in it for some weeks. However, the efficient blower heater worked wonders. A great place to stay in a lovely town. …
Loved The Cottage But Location Is Not As Shown On Website
We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Rydon Lodge. The property is very nice and provided spacious, comfortable, well furnished accommodation with almost everything that one would need. Just a few minor suggestions :- 1. Would have been useful to have a more detailed instruction re control of central heating particularly when approaching autumn. 2. Some windows could not be opened or locked with the key. 3. We had to restart the Wi-Fi router a few times in the course of the week. I am not sure whether it was the reception in the area. More likely, I suspect it is the insecure wall mounted power point onto which the Wi-Fi router is plugged. My only criticism is that the location of the property shown on the website is incorrect. The Lodge is actually situated on the "Exeter side of Topsham" rather than Topsham itself. It is a few minutes drive from a large Tesco Plus and Darts Farm Shop; 10 minutes drive to Topsham High Street. Overall, I have no hesitation to recommend the Lodge. …
Home from home
We stayed here for 3 nights but could have easily stayed longer!
It's a very comfortable and cosy, we'll equipped and lots of nice touches, the owners haven't skimped- quality furnishings crockery etc. The photos really don't do it justice. The lounge, kitchen and main bedroom are spacious. Heating had been set perfectly to keep us nice and warm... hate having to fiddle around with thermostats to get warm.
Parking wasn't an issue for us.. as it gets have said you can park outside for an hour then there's a long stay (£2.50 a day, free after 6pm) or side street parking. The owner provided us with full info so we were well prepared.
Info provided by owner about arrival procedure well in advance and numbers provided if we had any issues or queries.
Beautiful apartment.. we love Topsham and will definitely stay here again, great value. …
