“Multiple stays over a number of years” RWY is a classy location with the apartments on offer matching that standard.
Phil and his team are very professional and the accommodation is always in top notch condition. The views are spectacular whilst sitting in the 4ft thick solid granite stone window frame, drinking a good glass of vino and watching the sun go down over a hard turning battleship, departing for patrol, takes some beating. Check in & out is seamless as is the overall booking experience.
The restaurants and bars, within 50m, walk cater to all needs from bar food, to wagamamas to cuisine that should satisfy even the most discerning visitor. The Secco lounge immediately below the Juliet balcony gives off a pleasing sound of the hustle and bustle of patrons enjoying a cold one on a sunny afternoon, but is always quiet by a sociable hour. Open the windows and let the sun and sound in ..... lovely !
I have stayed at RWY with Luxury Sea Views a number of times over the recent years on both business and pleasure and will continue to do so. Visit the website and also check out The Esplanade for something a little different and special in its own way, trust me ;-)
“A very special apartment” We stay in apartments three to four times a year and this is, without any doubt, one of the best in which we have stayed. The quality of fixtures and fittings is superb and they fully justify the above average security deposit. It is just a wonderful apartment, even better than the photographs on the webpages suggest. Then there is the location, what a view. I could just stand on the veranda and just watch the world sail by. Being on the Royal William Yard is more than just a bonus. It is really lovely to wander around and I must really recommend the ‘River Cottage Canteen and Deli’. With the last ferry leaving Cornwall at 9pm an early evening visit to the Edgcumbe Arms for a drink with a view. There is also a ferry to the Barbican on site and the bus stop is just at the entrance to the yard. Word of warning, seagulls are far too plentiful and the need for your car to be washed as soon as you get home is inevitable.
This is a most wonderful apartment and we will most definitely hope to return.
“Good Central Location, Good Accommodation with a couple of gripes” Overall a nice apartment with just a couple of gripes.
1. Way too many mirrors especially the monstrosity in the living room.
2. Could have done with my lighting - we stayed in November and the lighting made the apartment look stark and dingy.
3. A £175.00 damage deposit is a bit steep especially when it is taken immediately but we had to chase for repayment - paid when chased but this was 2 weeks after the rental. Also not easy to recover as not only had to chase but had to claim money from paypal (who i dont trust) which involved not only signing up to paypal but also then having to ask them to transfer to my bank account which takes another 3 days. Not very impressed.
This massive coastal city combines the attractions of its watery location and naval history, with its many artistic and creative pursuits, to provide a unique holiday experience. Book your next holiday rental in Plymouth and start exploring!
Nestled between the mouths of both the River Tamar and the River Plym, Plymouth forms an impressive and visually stunning natural harbour. Situated on the southern coast of Devon, it's the largest coastal city in Southern England, and consequently has a huge amount to offer.
The area has a rich history, predominantly in naval pursuits; this was the location from where the English Navy sailed to defeat the Spanish Armada, there's a lot to learn and see!
What to Do

The Beatnik, Fine spacious apartment & parking
Contacted Lee with some last minute changes, which he sorted with no fuss. Lovely being able to arrive with tea coffee and treats as a welcome. Easy into town and shops for food only 5 mins up the road. Nice quiet area. Lovely Flat. Would definitely go again …
Harbour Court B
Lovely central apartment in the Barbican area of Plymouth
Well appointed apartment on ground and lower levels with a courtyard to the front and parking space at the rear. Once we parked our car didn't use it at all during our stay as it was easy to walk to the Hoe, harbourside, shopping and the Plymouth distillery which is literally a few minutes walk!! Spacious and very quiet. …
The Lookout at White Lane Lets
Fantastic little place
The location is lovely. I stayed at the Lookout for three nights on business. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. As a lone female traveller I felt very safe with the key pad on the front door, which prevented anyone from walking in. There are plenty of places to eat out or you can stay in and cook. I arrived late evening as was able to park on the road, the next couple of days I parked on the car park that was recommended by Andy. It was only a few minutes walk away and the car was secure. I would recommend the apartment to anybody who wants a cosy apartment that is good value for money. I will stay again if I am working in the area. …

MARINA VIEW Superb House free parking & views
A Fabulous, Spacious House with Amazing Views
We enjoyed a fantastic break in Plymouth staying at Marina View in the Milbay Area. The area was very quiet & the views from the 1st & 2nd Floor Balconies were amazing looking out to the Marina, Plymouth Sound & Drakes Island. The Location was only a short walk into the Town Centre or up to the Hoe which allows you to remove the need to Drive the Car & then have to find Parking. Excellent Kitchen / Dining Facilities to be enable you to cook at home & eat in. Always plenty of Hot Water when you needed a shower unlike many Holiday Lets that we've stayed in before. Finally, Becky was always available on the phone if you needed any Help or Guidance. The whole family (5) had a great time in Plymouth & all want to go back again in the future. …
Quarter Deck Bovisand Plymouth
We feel so lucky to have found such a perfect little chalet. We are walking the South West Coastpath, so this little home from home was ideal with the coastpath right outside the front door. It was a cosy place to return to after our walks, with a lovely hot shower to look forward to, & with nice big bath towels to wrap ourselves into (which really does make a big difference) The bed is very comfortable which gave us a good nights sleep, Kitchen is small but perfectly formed & to look out onto that wonderful view whilst washing up & preparing our food, is an absolute delight. All of the equipment is of a very good quality. On the days when we did not go out, it was a pleasure to sit on the comfy large chairs & watch the sea & boats through the patio doors, even when it was pouring with rain. Even though our break was in November the chalet was lovely & warm, & we did not even have to have the heating on high. The peace & tranquility that Quarter Deck offers is wonderful & we would have no hesitation in recommending & returning ourselves. …
